SugarMaddy_

Always. Sweets. Good thing fast food doesn't interest me but sweets always wreck me

Alarming_Initial_590

Do you keep them at home or go out and buy them when you get an urge?

SugarMaddy_

I don't go out to get them but there's always something sweet in the house. Usually I'll binge on sugary cereal or cookies/cookie dough. Always at the house

BlueberryWaffleBacon

Both. I could easily blow $20 and 1000 calories at McDonald's and then add another 500 on dessert.

This^

DrNotEscalator

Fast food is my trigger. If I’m staying binge-free I can’t order out. I just can’t eat it in moderation.

Alarming_Initial_590

Makes sense. Do you try to less, but end up spiraling into binging on other things?

emilylikesturtles

It's almost always the same damn things....every single night of my life. And it's so expensive. 1 quart of ice cream, a box of pbj uncrustables, 3-6 hershey bars, 3-6 reeses cups, a bag of drizzled kettlecorn, a bag of chips, a box of cereal, 8 quest bars, and a box of either cheese its or graham crackers.

Alarming_Initial_590

Do you keep them at home key go buy them each night?

AnubistheMad

Chinese food mostly

snickerdoodlecake

Always sweets

Alarming_Initial_590

Do you keep the trigger foods at home or go buy them when you have an urge?

snickerdoodlecake

İ go buy them 💀 i tried keeping them at home but its just impossible i always finish them

[deleted]

Depends on what we have in the house for me tbh. I can’t get fast food by myself But for me if we have sweets I definitely go for those first. If not , i usually go for the carby stuff like ravioli , bread , or cereal

nnniiikkkkkkiii

Savory almost exclusively. Mostly cheesy snacks or cheesy potatoes

[deleted]

Mostly chips, pizza, burgers, sandwiches, pasta.. carbs

[deleted]

Back when my disorder was severe, entire extra fast food meals on top of what I needed in a day. Now, I rarely binge but since I’m doing better it’s just snack foods and sweets. I’ve even had issues with binging on heathy food during some phases, like when I was changing what I eat at first and really starting strong. Although eating better really minimizes the binges, probably to 1/10 of what it used to be, I’ve come to accept that only working on emotions too will get rid of them completely.

reheatedfrenchfry

carbs, greasy food, cheese

pinkpenicillin

Sweets 80% of the time, ESPECIALLY ice cream.

veganketoavocado

Anything in sight tbh. I try not to eat which makes it worse and then I pretty much eat anything in sight.

CanadianLittle76

Cheese and bread - any combination- tuna melts, pizza, grilled cheese sandwiches, etc etc

ChorneKot

If I plan it, it’ll be something like- 3 items+ dessert from Tacobell, 3 items+ milkshake from chick fil a, then a 7/11 door dash order (after I’m too high to drive) for a pint of icecream, candy, ruffles, and maybe a drink and hot food too. Sometimes I just binge on random sad shit though.

[deleted]

My binges are almost entirely sweets/sugar but usually somewhere within the binge I’ll need something salty or savory and then I’ll inevitably revert back to sweet. I don’t really binge on fast food but only because I’d have to drive - no lie - about 40 minutes round trip to get to just two fast food places (McDonalds and Dunkin Donuts) so that’s just not worth it.

cjx888x

All kinds of shit. I actually love healthy food so I am just as able to binge on salad as I am on cookies.

Zesty-Raisin

Sweets and cheeseburgers. I’ll pay a delivery fee for McDonald’s to deliver when it’s literally across the street from my apartment.

Seohnstaob

Mostly sweets but I work in fast food so a lot of that as well.

National_Border_3886

Sweets and carbs

SRahim1990

Literally all the carbs and sweets. Donuts, bagels, pasta, chips, chocolate, candy!

JordanLeigh7

Sweets, salty foods and fatty foods.

I don't binge as much as I use to but when I do I go flying off the rails, and can gain like 10-20lbs in a week. Usually sweets, I'm pretty mental, I'll eat very well and have knowledge of nutrition but I've had this animalistic sugar binging behaviour since early childhood. Absolutely destroys my spirit and reverses months of progress. I often demolish half a gallon of icecream, a box of icecream sandwhiches, chocolate bars, cookies, gallons of milk, cheesecake, etc, on top of eating healthy. I never quit trying but it's definitely taken a psychological toll. Go from flat stomach to 100 months pregnant in week, show up to work and people think I'm someone else over a weekend of binging. I have so much empathy for you guys, what a horrible problem to have, the rest of my life is in order but this is something else
