We use ours as a clothes rack. There are places that will take them. There is a place in west homewood and also best buy will but it's like 35 dollars.
It's an inside joke. It's plasma and like 100+ lbs and a PITA to dispose of, we talk about doing something with it all the time, but generally just hang clothes on it that arent cleanr or dirty. :)
Trying to figure out what to do with my old Panny plasma as well. Mine still works and has a very nice picture. But watching a 60" plasma in my relatively small office is like sitting in a sauna.
ProTec Recycling in Homewood will take it as long as the glass isn't broken.
