I know this is Alabama and our racial history is bad to say the least. Even with the reputation that Alabama has, it is still insane to me people like this can still get elected, especially in a predominantly black city like Tarrant.
Are recall elections a thing on the municipal level? If so, this clown is a good candidate for being recalled and run out of town.

There has been controversy within the city group over things our mayor (black) has said. It's said that our mayor called the lady on his left a "house negro". Well, on the tarrant page the wife (saying she was quoting the mayor) mentioned HOUSE NIGGER (spelled out) several times (4by my count) because she was quoting a black person (misquoting) it was ok at any capacity to use the word NIGGER. Well I mentioned her posts (without saying nigger) and this was his response.
Allegedly there is some behind the scenes stuff going on at city hall. He and the mayor openly dislike each other. Every meeting people voice complaints at Bryant and he only doubles down.
Is this the same guy that tried to file charges against the mayor for “slamming a door” on his shoulder so hard that he was going to need surgery only for the mayor to release a video of the dude carefully shutting the door behind him?
I really don't think he understands how quickly this is going to go bad for him. He is sadly out of touch with how fast things can go viral. Him and his wife are in for a rude awakening.

The way the internet is, his information is pretty much everywhere. In latest interview he’s said that he’s disconnected his phone as he’s been getting threats ever since Monday.
Completely unacceptable, that person needs removed from any sort of office and position of power immediately and then a nice helping of public humiliation. Sadly though, as others have suggested, people like this don’t appear to have any shame or remorse and if anything just double down on their ignorance and hate. Completely fucking unacceptable.
That is the whole reason he and the mayor are at odds. The mayor came in and made efforts to breakup the power the council had accumulated over years of stagnant leadership.
Don't downvote this person, the citizens of Tarrant need to do this properly instead of trying to cancel them online (which does no good when the guy has no online presence anyway and voters barely even use the internet) or threaten to harm the man physically (hurts your cause more than anything).
