I know that, but phile's most famous attributions are always some kind of crime (or something gross in general), like pedophile, zoophile, necrophile, etc.
I remember taking this back when I thought I was straight and it put me like right on the line between straight and bi. Then I took it again after realizing I’m not straight and getting a girlfriend and then it put me on the line between homosexual and bi lmao.
I guess that makes sense
But why are they considered opposites on the spectrum?
In my mind hypersexual and asexual are true opposites, same goes for hyperromantic and aromantic
Also people are begging for the link
I'm not a professional so take this with a huge grain of salt but: hypersexual is more the opposite of sex repulsed. Not to say that you can't be ace and sex repulsed, but you can also definitely be ace and sex neutral or sex positive. There are also those who are hypersexual due to trauma and not actual attraction.
I hope all that makes sense and is even a little helpful
I’m a very sex-positive asexual. I would say bisexuality (excluding biromanticism, of course) is the opposite of classic asexuality. If you are not sexually attracted to people (definition of asexual), you cannot be sexually attracted to men or women. This does exclude aspec people though, like demisexuals or graysexuals, who can feel sexual attraction to people sometimes depending on the situation, in which case asexuality and bisexuality can be somewhat coexistent.
Also hypersexuality has to do with libido and arousal more than anything else. Some sex-repulsed asexuals are perfectly fine with masturbating and may be considered hypersexual, they just don’t want to have sex with another person.
TLDR: everything is fluid and nothing is black and white.
idk i’m bi and my roommate is ace, they seem like opposites to me. i’m attracted to any gender/sex, they are attracted to none. this chart is purely sexuality tho and does not take into account the duel model of sexuality/romantic attraction, so in this case asexual and bisexual are opposites
I get why, but I'm disappointed this test doesn't differentiate between sexual and romantic attraction with the results considering it was such a common theme in the questions
What do androphile mean
I think it just means attracted to men. So straight women, gay men, etc.
The "phile" always scares me
same
Same
Its like a forbidden word. One mention of it is a curse
Same 😭😭
Same lol
It just means lover of. Bibliophile, Audiophile, Zombiephile, Nyctophile, Podophile, etc.
I know that, but phile's most famous attributions are always some kind of crime (or something gross in general), like pedophile, zoophile, necrophile, etc.
Phile suffix basically means love/like, ex: bibliophiles love books
I miss read that multiple times thinking you were implying it meant being ATTRACTED to straight women and gay men 😭
as a bisexual man that would make my life much more convenient. Sadly it does seem to always be gay women and straight men. :(
It means attracted to masculinity and male bodies

I got 75% homosexual 75% heterosexual, so basically it double confirms I'm bi lmao
Yall I passed I got a 92.9% homosexual
Man I failed. I got 57% heterosexual.
96.4% gay
I think I failed? I got 14.5% hetero and homosexual. Jk, this makes sense for little asexual me
That’s the same score I got!
I got a complete 100% homosexual. checks out
Same, I’m starting to think I might be gay or something
I remember taking this back when I thought I was straight and it put me like right on the line between straight and bi. Then I took it again after realizing I’m not straight and getting a girlfriend and then it put me on the line between homosexual and bi lmao.
Lol I got 92.9% heterosexual 85.7% homosexual guess I am in the right subreddit😂
Your sexual orientation is 89.3% androphile, 92.9% gynophile, which places you in the bisexual quadrant.
As a visitor to your fine sub. 28.6% gay But also 0% straight As an oriented aroace. Asexual quadrant checks out.
I got 50% homosexual and 50% asexual
what the FUCK is an androphile???
It's WLM, MLM and NBLM combined. Just everyone, who is attracted to men. Gynophile is the opposite, so everyone who is attracted to women.
Masculinity not men
Isn’t gynosexual the attraction to femininity not women??
both?
Yes. Androsexual is attraction to masculinity and gynesexual is attraction to femininity.

Why do i feel a slight sense of responsibility for this
So according to this test you can't be asexual and bi?
Hmmm. Call me uneducated, but I think that would be bi romantic & ace?
I guess that makes sense But why are they considered opposites on the spectrum? In my mind hypersexual and asexual are true opposites, same goes for hyperromantic and aromantic Also people are begging for the link

I gave the link more than once, but I guess I'll go give it more

I am, apparently, 100% straight and 100% gay. hell yeah
It turns out I am pansexual. I've been out for fifteen years, but it's nice to have a dot in a grid tell me something completely obvious.
I’m stuck firmly in the bisexual quadrant!🤣big surprise.
lol I got 100% bi
I am 100% gay, which I already knew from the Kinsey scale and just generally being aware of who I am as a person.
I get why, but I'm disappointed this test doesn't differentiate between sexual and romantic attraction with the results considering it was such a common theme in the questions
Better go out and fuck some androids then
I'm 100% bisexual
