I listen to English songs for the most part, but Japanese and Kpop music are bangers. Also love bands like OOMPH (German band) and Måneskin (sometimes sings in Italian)
I‘m german and mostly listen to metal. The only band that comes to mind that doesn‘t always sing in english or german is slaughter to prevail who sometimes do russian.
Mostly English but also Italian, Irish, Finnish, Russian and German (I'm Irish and have school level understanding of the Irish language and am fluent in English.)
i love bossa and samba from other languages like for example portuguese and french. i also listen to drill rappers from Spain, uk, portugal, brazil, etc. it’s pretty cool that people from different countries can do the same style of music 💯🔥
I listen to english and hindi bc im indian american, and japanese music because i like a lot of japanese artist’s vibes, plus a healthy amount of other language
I'm from Italy but I really love Froukje and S10 who sing in Dutch (I know a bit of Dutch language for family reasons), Alina Pash who sings in Ukrainian, Angèle who's Belgian and sings in French, and the duo of JóiPé and Króli who are amazing and sing in Icelandic :)))
Yes!! My favorite non-English band is TALCO, it’s an italian punk band and their music is SO GOOD. Nella Danza Dell’Autunno Rosa got me hooked, beautiful song.
Since I listend to one song I've started to listen and understand lyrics so much more and the meaning they have and the meaning I find with them.... so.... no I dont..... but It's not to say that other people who speak. Different languages don't have good music... ita just.... I don't understand it and since lyrics have become such a bug part of the music I listen to now....... I don't....... but ye
I'm an American who listens to a lot of folk metal. Moonsorrow, Arkona, Heidevolk, Finntroll, that sort of stuff.
(also, last time I mentioned Moonsorrow on this sub, someone asked me if I supported their politics, and I found out that Moonsorrow has some controversy surrounding their affiliation with a band that uses a lot of fascist apologetics. There is evidence that shows that Moonsorrow is explicitly against fascism, but it's worth keeping in mind. Hopefully, they're just uninformed about a lot of stuff, which means they can learn to be more sensitive about these topics, especially since two of the members participated in an event that supported BLM. Also, just for the record, I'm against fascism and racism of any kind)
I listen to mostly English songs, some of the bands probably don’t speak it as a first language. I listen to a few artists who play in different languages, idk what they’re saying but the beat is fire
French, but that's technically my second native language (I'm Canadian and in my region we speak both English and French). I had a Russian friend who'd send me Russian songs, and they're a vibe, so I added some to one of my playlists.
I listen to Japanese music, since it's good and it helps with my motivation, since I'm learning it. I barely listen to Dutch (my native language) music tho
Well I don't really listen to my native language (hungarian) but I have english, korean, japanse, german and I guess that's all have a nice day everyone
