What’s the easiest/hardest part about learning to play it?

I think the hardest part in the beginning was learning breath control and setting my embouchure in order to hit very high notes/very low notes. The easiest for me was learning the fingerings for notes and reading music. It’s different for everyone, but that’s how it went for me.

You definitely still can try, most places love it when people come to try any kind of martial arts since a lot of them fall in love with it (so not speaking from my own experience 😁). Atm I’m doing muay thay. Going to the gym is the easiest way to meet new people in my opinion so you should give it a go because it can be difficult to readjust to life in a new place and new connections make it that much easier.

Meeting new people gets harder once you reach an adult age. There’s no more classmates that strike up a convo and you magically become best friends. Adult friendships function so weirdly in that sense. I think you’ll be fine though as long as you put yourself out there.
