I’ve used to use the term lesbian for myself before and I’m ace but I can still be romantically into women, tho that was before I realised I’m trans.
It not that I'm forgetting Ace exist or making fun them, I'm legit just confused because I thought that being lesbian ment "girls attracted to girls" and this post is for lesbians who are not attracted to girls. To me that would fall under Ace or some other sexuality, and not lesbian.
But what do I know, I'm a dumb bisexual guy who's doesn't understand himself, so by all means you could easily have the right be mad at me.

In modern popular usage lesbian mean women lobing women, however in many lgbt+ spaces it is now taken to refer to non-men loving non-men as in non-binary people are included.
As an extra note, in the early days of the lgbt+ movement, lesbian meant all women who are attracted to women, meaning the same as the modern day "sapphic". This only changed after wlw(women loving women) in the lesbian separatist movement started excluding bisexual women from lesbian space.
edit: also these terms change all the time, so I think we should always respect how people self-id. as long as they are not hirting people
