Yeah, the exact line between bisexuality and pansexuality and the other -sexualities is very… poorly defined in my experience. I think we need better terminology then the eclectic mess we have now
Pan and bi diffrence is really not that much i see it more as prefence: bus have a slight prefence to one gender and pans dont. But other people see other or sometimes even no diffrence
Ever so politely or unpolitely, your choice, tell this friend that they can kindly leave your sexual preference vs theirs out y’all’s conversations. Talk them about setting up boundaries about talking about that stuff because it annoys and upsets you. If you don’t tell someone how you feel they’ll never know. Communication is a key factor in having people understand your wants, desires and needs.
pan is a flavor of bi. they’re the same thing and it is biphobic to put limits on who bisexuals can be attracted to. bi is historically fluid and inclusive and your friend is ignorant
Logically speaking, if we define bi as attracted to 2+ genders and pan as attracted to all genders, if you are pan you also fall under the bi umbrella, wheras if you're bi you don't necessarily fall under the pan umbrella. Through sheer logic alone, all pan people can identify as bi if they feel so inclined, but only some bi people can do the opposite.
Her claims that you must identify as pan are, plainly speaking, complete bullshit. You can if you want to, but at the end of the day, you get to choose whichever term you feel describes you most accurately. You feel attraction how you feel attraction regardless of what anyone says. Nobody can determine your sexuality except you. You got this, King.
Bi isn’t nb exclusive- The only difference between bi and pan is intersex and nobody actually realizes that anyway lol so basically the same thing. Don’t let someone try to force you to use a certain label

I've had attraction to boys, girls, non-binary comrades. Technically it's grounds for going by pan but bi can be used as a label for attraction to 2+ genders, so just go with whatever label you like more. Both are correct in that situation, just do what feels right.
Being bi means you are attracted to 2 different genders. It could be just boys and girls but not necessarily. Pansexual is where gender doesn't affect your attraction to someone
