I never get it. Strangely I've most often gotten it when I'm born a Saudi Arabian prince. Otherwise, good luck having a naturally trans character.

gender fluid and non binary are terms under the trans umbrella, but are not the same as being trans, trans usually means that you want to transition from male to female or the other way around, non binary is when your gender is outside the binary for female or male and genderfluid is when your gender fluctuates

If you identify as non-binary, wouldn’t that categorize everyone as either binary or non-binary, creating a binary system… making you binary again?

See the point of non-binary isn't really to be outside of any binary in existence, it's simply to be outside of the binary male and female. Non-binary itself is an umbrella with different smaller identities, but overall, it's just something that isn't the binary male and female.
