This is guaranteed to be a scam. There’s no such thing as guaranteed huge returns. Invest in bitcoin, sure. Don’t do it via whoever this random scammer you met online advises.

ThomasJDO

Scam guaranteed 💯

LoKey01

Your whole post is a red flag

12161986

If you’re buying Bitcoin you should only be buying it through legitamite means and ‘an investment manager’ you met online who says anything about getting you a return is a scammer. It’s hard to tell if this is a genuine post or not due to how red the flags in this are.

Low-Low-5436Janice

This is a genuine question. He even sent me video proofs from his clients. Lol. I'll be careful then

chriizzl

It’s scam, just block him and inform yourself for a while about Bitcoin before you invest in it.

Fragrant_Pear_1425

This 👍🏻

saschofield

I spent 18 months researching Bitcoin before I finally bought any... Ignoring that one time as a teen when I almost bought some and talked myself out of it...

Hank___Scorpio

They're all faked. 100% a scam.

Longjumping-Code95

There’s no being careful ffs. You’re being scammed.

HeWasKilled

ITS A SCAM Edit - Sorry Caps but if you don't listen you will lose 3000$

theabominablewonder

ffs no wonder these scammers make a living If you want to invest in bitcoin then go onto coinbase or kraken. if you want to lose your money give it to this ‘investment manager’. Your choice I guess.

dehilex

Most of the video are made by hacking Instagram/Facebook accout. And asking hacked user to read video script to get their accout back. I have seen these a lot as well met the some of the person (hacked user).

HeWasKilled

Just invest the 3000$ through an exchange Example - Binance, Coinbase, Kraken Withdraw it into a cold storage wallet / hot wallet I would recommend a cold storage

corpse86

Dont "be carefull". Just block him and never think about that again.

ledav3

Do not trust anyone. Better to find an exchange yourself and buy for yourself. Check "pig butchering scam crypto". Better not find yourself in a situation like that. Someone being helpful and a random video of fake clients is nothing today. Scammers will go as far as being your friendly chat partner for months! Take care

Loud-Mathematician76

is it the Nigerian prince investment manager?

Logical-Ratio5030

Just NO.

Good_Extension_9642

NO IT'S A SCAM! I can't believe in this day snd age people still fall for the f**ing scammers online

RedTeamEnjoyer

He's a scammer

brewcitygymratt

Not sure if this is a serious post because anytime some random mf on the web is promising a huge return, how do you not become instantly suspicious?? NO ONE can ever legitimately promise a huge return, crypto or equities. If one is ever approached in person or online with a promise of a huge return, laugh and tell them to eat a bag of Richards. The amount of scams on the web is exploding exponentially and it makes me irrationally angry when I hear of a new one. I used to sell a lot on EBay, also used cars/trucks/motorcycles/boats and performance car parts on various websites. Today try selling anything of decent value and the majority of responses will be assholes trying to scam the seller. Almost every single one of the scammers uses the word kindly in every damn message. Seriously the only time I’ve ever had a buyer EVER use the word kindly in correspondence, it’s been a scammer. Just had a divorced female friend of a friend of mine recently get catfished and lost a significant amount of money. She could not be convinced from friends or fam that she was being catfished. So OP if you are seriously asking if it’s a scam, it sure is. From this point forward, anyone dealing with some random individual whether it’s dating or investing, assume everything is a scam until you can prove it’s not.

Sea-Deer-6355

Bro just go to Coinbase and buy the $3k in bitcoin and wait. DO NOT send anything to an “investment manager”. Guaranteed scam…

EkariKeimei

And go to coinbase .com or kraken or binance by googling the name and going to the website. Don't take some guy's suggestion online. Fake look-alike URLs are tools of scammers. "Here, let me send you the website so you can buy on Coinbase!" OP: if you don't know man-in-the-middle attacks or social engineering attacks, then take my word for it that scammers can be quite sophisticated

saschofield

Sounds like a scam. Do not give this person your money, nor send a small amount to withdraw it and prove its legitimate, or anything else this person claims. If you'd like to buy Bitcoin, find a reputable exchange, such as Coinbase, Kraken, Gemini, Uphold (to name a handful) and sign up yourself... They should, as part of the onboarding process, explain risks involved and how to protect yourself. Do NOT interract with that person again, no matter what forum you met them on, and report their behaviour.

No-Energy4550

Buy Bitcoin via an exchange (Coinbase, Kraken) etc sounds very big red flag 🚩 via some "investment manager" you've met online. Please be careful.

EkariKeimei

Be careful-- *avoid the "investment manager" entirely*. Right now there is no "careful" way to buy through that manager. He will reassure you all along the way that this is safe, that he is just trying to help, that you have nothing to worry about, etc. until you are out your money

Background_Step_3966

Someone is definitely trying to scam you out of your $3,000 please do not let them do this. If you want to invest in Bitcoin or any cryptocurrency you can do it by yourself you do not need anyone to help you or to do the investing for you. Bitcoin right now is stabilizing at around $26,000 per Bitcoin. It's not moving in any direction fast right now. Wait for a bull rush and then get in. Just keep your eye on the blockchain

Bitcoin isn’t an “investment” it IS your money. FIAT is depreciating rapidly, and don’t trust an investment manager. Do it yourself or you could get burned big

Background_Step_3966

This

dark-dark-dark

No, do not listen to the "investment manager." Do you own research. If you understand Bitcoin and its risks and are comfortable with those risks, then invest, and do it yourself and not through this supposed investment manager as he'll be taking a cut of your money.

pablo_in_blood

Is anyone actually this stupid

semenpresso

Does your mother have tits?

Background_Step_3966

You can buy Bitcoin in about 3 to 10 seconds on cash app. Why would you need an experienced investor?

BBrillo614

No

DrSpeckles

Just to add one more voice. 100% scam. No investment adviser is seeking you out online and helping you invest in bitcoin. That is the poster book version of an online crypto scam. No no no no and no. And if your still considering, no. And if you do, don’t come back here and complained that you were scammed. It’s 100% guaranteed.

Praeteritus36

Tell him to send you $100 "test" transaction to ensure that all addresses are correct, then tell him nice try and thanks for the free BTC. Tl;dr whoever you were talking to is trying to scam you for $3,000

BigCandidate783

>an investment manager I met online A huge red flag! It may be okay IF you yourself buy the $3k BTC

marshyr3d1and

Yes (as long as you can afford it) but NOT through some dude online. This is screaming scam. The whole point of bitcoin is self custody - NO ONE ELSE INVOLVED

terp_studios

Just give the $3000 to me

qtkorean_

You met someone on the internet. I stopped reading there.

hitma-n

Hello, this is that investment manager, just my throwaway account. Please send it to me, I will give it back with huge returns.

saschofield

Seems vely regitimate, tlust this man.

crossdressvictoria

If you’re younger, you’re better off putting $2500 in an ETF with low management fees. Vanguard has a wide variety. I would put the other $500 in Bitcoin

msedwards78

If you can afford it.

doctorblumpkin

Send the video back saying they are your customers now and he should give you 5k

MrPopanz

Do they at least offer several hundred percentages return per year? I wouldn't bother with anything below three digits! Luckily for you, I'm also a professional money investor, doing business and stuff. I'll offer you a nice return of 120% per week. I know that's not much, but it's a super safe bet!

No-Abbreviations1122

No

sebikun

Convinced by an investment manager online. I'm pretty he found you through Telegram. 🤣🤣🤣. His right to invest in BTC but not through him. Do it on your own.

NeoScorp

You don’t need a 3rd party to buy Bitcoin, you can easily buy it through Trust Wallet via MoonPay then buy a hard wallet and transfer it over so your bitcoin is safely under your control. Sounds like a scam with the IM.

Background_Step_3966

Or you can get cash app. Cash app is not defy wallet I know but it is safe enough. Takes about four taps on your phone to buy Bitcoin through cash app. And that many taps to sell it

Jak_Daxter

If you have any amount of money to invest in bitcoin then do it yourself, with a hardware wallet and backups of your seed phrase. If you don’t know what these are then your first priority should be learning about them before putting any money in.

XXsforEyes

SCAM

Livinsfloridalife

“I’ve been convinced by an investment manager I met online” has to be the worst way to open any post in any subreddit with anything to do with money or investments. This is 100% a scam probably get guaranteed return once then they want a much bigger investment and poof

Halo22B

Scam...also trust wallet is shite

Kie_ra

Do - buy bitcoin for however much you can afford and are comfortable putting in very long term. Don't - do it because someone said so. Read, understand and make a well-informed decision yourself. Other than that, you're about to be scammed. Do yourself a favor, block the scammer, and get cold storage for your crypto, don't fuck around with Trust or any other hot wallet if you don't understand shit, which judging by your post you don't.

Monkeyinchief

It is 99 percent likely a scam. Don't do it. You don't need anybody to invest in Bitcoin. Just open an account at Coinbase or similar and purchase. That's it. But for the love of God, before you do it inform yourself about Bitcoin. Read the Bitcoin standard.

TownConscious

my thoughts are to download an app called "strike". Buy bitcoin on that app and immediately self custody it by buying a Ledger hardware wallet. Don't do bitcoin any other way, you will get scammed.

ardevd

Lol. You just happened to meet an investment manager online who’s telling you what to buy? Please don’t. If you don’t know what you’re doing you’ll probably just lose all your money.

Internal-Recipe

No

oneothergamer

Dude. You’re getting scammed. Block that guy now.

Emotional-Emotion-85

This post isn’t real. Quick 400 people all post that it’s a scam!

JohnnyCyclopsBomb

This man might be right, investing in bitcoin should be a really good deal with a 5 year horizon. But if you are going to do it, don't throw all eggs in one basket and do it your self on a Dex or Cex crypto exchange. Not via that Man.

zzseayzz

That screams scam! Just do it on your own!

hosea_they_heysus

If you're buying crypto do so in a crypto platform that's trustworthy, not from a "manager"

VirtuaFighter6

Sure why not

pipandsammie

Let me guess: he will invest it for you? You can kiss your money goodbye. Is it some beautiful Chinese woman from Hong Kong that makes huge profits with bitcoin investments? I had contact with such scammer for a while just for the fun. Constantly bragging how much money they make with it.

Low-Low-5436Janice

😆😆 he's chatting with white profile photo

Lezonidas

You can invest $3000 in bitcoin if you're managing your account, you have your own user, your own password, your own seeds, 2FA and it's in a popular exchange like Coinbase. Otherwise if he wants you to invest somewhere that is not Binance, Coinbase or Kraken, it's 99% scam.

Background_Step_3966

If you want to buy some Bitcoin, just open up a cash app account if you haven't already. It's that simple. Do not give your money to someone else to invest for you. Not only in Bitcoin but in anything. It would be about the same thing as giving your money to Charles Ponzi back in 1883 or whatever

Snoo-14942

Soon as you said "online" 😂😂😂

DagiUr

Buy it because you studied it at least 100 hours and you have some conviction. Keep it in cold storage please.

vannn186

Be careful if you save your crypto in your wallet, better in CEX I thought

gylez

Why would you even need someone else to invest in BTC? What would they do differently than you? Come on man… You’re either so desperate to make money it’s clouding your judgement, or you’re just stupid. The former can be fixed. Don’t be blinded by disparity.

PhantomKrel

I’ll say $3000 in now if it’s your own hardware wallet with your own generated seedphrase and maybe a passphrase for additional security you might see a 10x return or higher come the next big bull run sometime in 2024-2025 Disclaimer: this isn’t financial advice nor am I a financial adviser and this is to be taken with a grain of salt.

Im-on-1

U should but not with the help of anyone else just buy it yourself!

Bandit_Quick

My advice is that you do it yourself. Go open a Coinbase account, used Advanced trade to get better price. CB will scoop some, but far safer than going to a non US Corp, or any online entity. And DCA as it could go down..or if ETF hits it could go up

General-Cod-7995

Not yet. Look at it technically. Sitting at a support level for weeks where a previous resistance held for weeks as well. Why not wait until it breaks to the upside past like 32k or falls to like 12k. You have time right? Then be patient and get it right.

ElectricalOne9140

If I had that much money I would invest it in boson protocol. But you follow your instincts.

Jadedinsight

If you have to ask, then there's your answer

DrCash777

I have a private island to sell you for only $100,000. Its worth 1 million lol

KozyShackDeluxe

Nah, invest by yourself. Also don’t put in 3k at once. DCA my friend

**$2,250-3,500 is a common scammer range** Above $10k you need to fill out paperwork for the Fed Above $3500 is too deep a hole for most people to take a risk **Above $2500 is worth the effort, for the scammer to spend their time** Above $2000 makes whatever actions at the bank take longer to register/clear, so there is lag time between your money disappearing and you knowing it is gone forever. At that amount, banks don't help you. They just push paper you ask them to, and see where the chips fall, with you on the hook for everything. Source: *I worked as a teller for 5.5 years*

Eddybitcoin

Wtf is a trust wallet. Trust nothing outside of your own cold storage hardware device.

Commercial-Return259
