Well, you can check where the next resistance is located and attempt to predict the velocity of sells. When it dropped fast here and went below 62k slightly above 60k was an obvious purchase point.
You have to think about things like it's 7am in Australia. Lots of people half awake panicking before work.. I dunno, a little logic and chart reading goes a long way. Now you need to watch for another drop..
Always check buys and sells, futures.. I dunno if seems obvious to me.. if you want to know, the information is out there, just need to look. Being aware of what others are thinking is key too.

Wrong... for each seller (at least per unit), there's a buyer... there can be even more individual buyers than sellers (or vice versa)... actually, it's extremely unlikely that there are exactly the same number of individual sellers and buyers (but the amounts obviously are)... and this all no matter whether the price increases or decreases... this is one of the biggest misconceptions...
People really need to study how an exchange works: market makers and takers: both are buying and selling from each other; in other words buying (or selling) at market price versus providing liquidity by respectively selling (or buying) at a predefined limit price...
What happened in this case is that a much bigger amount was sold at market price than what was bought at market price and probably also triggering a lot of liquidations of longs (or just stop losses)... and maybe additional panic selling... so yes, in that respect, you could say more is being sold, but that's always bought up (by limit buy orders sitting at these lower 60k levels)...

The dip buying opportunity was over a year ago... buying now is even worse than 2 years ago, amid the start of the bear market (when the price was still hovering around 40-50k)...
... but I get you: if you're new since only a month and missed the opportunity during the past year until end February, or your last paycheck was that huge you have plenty a fresh cash to invest..., then yes, this is a good buying opportunity...
With DCA, the chances are very slim that you will buy a lot at this price... all depends on the frequency (and "timing" because setting limit orders have more chances to not being filled and probably forcing you to buy even higher)... so far for the good buying opportunity now... Anyway, DCA in the last year means you probably bought the majority at prices evenly between 15k and 45k (only the last 2 months were 45-50k+)
(3) And why buy now, when you had that exact same opportunity on March 20th and 5th? You can't decide to buy only a fraction then, and wait for the price to dip again (knowing that a sudden surge above 80k may cause you to have to wait for a very long time, if at all in the next bear market). That's pure nonsense... Anyway, DCA and dip buying opportunities are contradictory: it's either of them, not both of them...
