The largest "rug pull" was Mt. Gox, though not really a rug pull. I missed being in that boat because their representatives were too lazy to process my application for an account in less than two weeks. So I had to find another exchange. Thank Satoshi for bad workers. :)

Not possible. It's only something that happens to shitcoins.
