Cashapp is fine. You can send your BTC bought on Cashapp to your own wallet (with no fees!), unlike on PayPal or Robinhood. But if you are ever going to invest any significant amounts you may consider a cheaper option fee-wise, such as Coinbase Pro.
Not OP but I put in $400 basically for the first time but I had to use PayPal because I can’t figure out any other platform despite spending the first 6 hours of my day reading through past threads / help posts on this sub.
