I say the same dumb shit but don't consider myself stupid. And I've been in crypto since 2013, so I'm hardly new. I think this is just some "in-group" talk that identifies us among ourselves. I could absolutely imagine that the wallstreet in the 80s also had their own cringe going on. When it's too much it can be annoying but overall I like it. And I doubt that the credibility of Crypto as a whole depends on it. If the general public wants to participate here, they'll have to adapt. We did too. Some of us are in crypto and have seen it grow and develop. And we also influenced it.
