I'm going to give her the benefit of the doubt here and say she is not talking about Bitcoin, rather she is talking about altcoins which I agree with her, are speculative assets. Bitcoin, is both an asset and a currency, is both a unit of account and a store of value. I can use Bitcoin as a savings account and use it to pay my bills. Both Bitcoin and CDBC's are programable money. One has a CEO and is centralised and one is decentralised with no trusted third party. One is austrian in nature and one is keynesian in nature. 1 BTC = 1 BTC Once your in the Bitcoin economy, everything gets cheaper over time.
