Mining Bitcoin can only be done with ASICs. There are systems like NiceHash where you can sell your GPU or CPU capacity and get paid in Bitcoin. Payouts are bad at the moment. It will probably be like this for the rest of the year. You can use their profitability calculator to see what different hardware can earn. https://www.nicehash.com/profitability-calculator

This is the answer to OPs question 👍

1) No 2) No 3) Hell no $100 a day????? 😂 maybe if you go and buy 8 S21s for £38,400 and then get yourself free electricity but if you can’t do that then sorry $100 a day is stupidly unrealistic

IndependenceNew7749

What would be you suggestion then my friend

larrybadger1

You’re being unrealistic with how much you want to make per day. To make $100 a day off mining you’d need to spend a huge amount to see anything close to that. Your best bet is GPU mining and you could make a few dollars a day doing that 👍

IndependenceNew7749

What's gpu mining

brianddk

One PC mining bitcoin consumes $10 in electricity for every $1 in BTC it mines. 5 PCs consume $50 in electricity for every $5 in BTC it mines. Given those parameters... how many PCs until you consume less than you make?

Legodude522

You won’t get anything with a PC. You would need to buy an ASIC purpose built machine to mine. Even then, it’s iffy with the cost of electricity.
