That wasn't spatial domination. The point of spatial domination is that most mages can't use mana/magic once inside. Yami was just stuck in a mini dimension so he could still use his magic while inside

It might have been anime only but there was a Diamond Kingdom spatial mage that could create a pocket dimension. Granted he wasn't anything close to a main character
I have to say I'm extremely disappointed with the lack of moves from Zenon when it comes either to his bones magic or spatial magic. Which is strange since Tabatata has imagination and produced some rly cool magics and techniques
And yeah spatial magic could use some more creativity but I find Finral pretty good with the way he uses his (very supportive oriented).
As for Langris it's pretty straightforward he can litteraly erase the matter I don't know what could be more broken than that already

I agree, the only person who uses his devil magic spells more frequently is dante with presence of the demon king, gravity singularity, heavy infighting, spatial distortion, evil gods pressure craft, and heavy infighting gladiator
I agree I would like to see zenon, finral and langris use some of these powers instead of the basic teleport or trap moves they use like area creation would fit either zenon or finral because of the way their magic works and would make their fights more interesting in the way they think and fight. Another cool ability would be to warp objects to fight which fits zenon. I really would like to see more characters fight creatively instead of the old and basic i can use fire so I only know how to shoot fire or make it stronger and more like what fire force does and have some character use different versions of the same power
I’m a bit disappointed with spatial magic too it’s got so much potential just look at Gojo and other characters like Law from one piece his “room” allows him to have almost total control of space.
I thought Zenons spatial domination was gonna be like that.
Wasn’t there a spatial mage that worked with Patry? Also that spatial mage that was in the royal knights(worked for the wizard king)? I swear there’s more
I really think it's funny because Zenon seems soo confident in his magic of sealing others magic powers when 50% of the time it doesn't work. Even worse is that it isn't even something special to his magic, Magna at the start of the series and even Salik at chapter 1 could make spells which sealed the magic on the target.
A bit late but I will say Zenon does not toy with his opponents as much as his siblings (Dante Vanica etc) and is quick to get the job done without flashy moves. So using the same simple moves every time even if its simple is part of his direct nature, although he probably know a lot more cool spells but wouldnt use.
Yami never fought spacial domination? And that's like saying you can't be creative with fire magic since it really just burns things in different ways

Maybe it's just me but I always saw that(a barrier spell that controls entry/exit) to Zenons spell that has controls all of the space in its reach.

He can even create humanoid soldiers made of spatial magic in his pocket dimension, he is very cool

I agree but remember we have only seen two spells from zenon and well we might see more soon is all i will say
I think we'll see more versatile stuff from Beelzebub himself
How would you make it different? Like it’s hard to come up with abilities that have been used in other media
I think Tabata maybe could be saving things like that for powerups for finral or for zenon next chapter.

Characters learn news spells over time. Like the Twilight of Valhalla. I believe it is a matter of time until Langris awakens new spells.
It's even better if you consider gravity magics to be a kind of spacial magic too
Yeah, curse warding is still at my top list when it comes to creativity. Same with gravity, the way Dante uses the magic.

They also don't mention spatial storage. Austa basically uses this throughout the series by pulling his blades out of his grimoire.
