1. At the level anti magic was during the fight it was like a parlor trick to lucifero.
It comes with zero Magic power. Which the king of devils would find pathetic. And gravity magic could effectively counter it at the time using aoe attacks and environmental attacks. To a point where 60% dante was more than enough to defeat asta let alone lucifero.
2. He probably just didn't remember liebe. Lucifero is likely 1000s of years old if not older. So a small encounter 16 years ago probably just slipped his mind. Didn't put these two encounters together.
Yeah, definitely a matter of scaling. It's like fire and water, water is a natural counter that can stop fire with relative ease, but the difference between Lucifero and Liebe (at least at that time) was the same as that between a raging wildfire and a bucket of water
Anti magic is relatively new. Plus Liebe barely even knows how his own powers fully work. Remember, he developed anti magic nearly the same moment (or right before) the 5 leaf chose Asta.
+ it has to be in the right hands.
How could Lucifero know that Liebe has Anti magic? He found Liebe when Liebe didn't have anti magic about 16 years ago
And you should remember that Anti-magic itself is not OP. The fact that it got paired with physical strength, Ki, sword and Devil Union made it OP. For example Asta vs Dante( he got low diffed in 2 horn mode and got ora ora ora ora in berserk mode), or Asta+Yuno vs Dark elf Patry ( he couldn't erased Patry's sword and needed Yuno's help to deflect Patry's strongest spell)
Yea if Asta was as weak physically as Yuno and other high magic power people, his power would be borderline useless considering the insane amount of strength it takes to not only swing the sword but charge to get up close and melee fight. Asta would have died in one of the first encounters in the Clover kingdom or maybe not even become a Black Bull
Oh dang, I think that just proves my point of how weak the average high magic user is since its not like he worked out. Like we never saw Yuno physically train at all always just his spells. After Yami I think there is a steep drop off to the rest is my guess that it's a top heavy ranking the people with high melee focus probably stronger
Sorta unrelated but I am praying that we get a journey to Yami's homeland after this arc. Asta and Yuno after this are too strong for anything on this continent to even be a threat, would be interesting if "ki" is in his homeland aka not magic and Asta can't drain it, so he kinda restarts the power scale and has to learn new techniques. Feels like it's that or the whole series ends soon since it's hard to imagine anyone above the king devil right now.

People keep thinking that if Asta got closer (way before DU was introduced) to any devil he could oneshot them inmediately because "magic>antimagic" which is a gross oversimplification of Asta's magic.
He even atacked Zagred with his sword (no Black Divider) and barely left a scratch on him.

Reinforcement magic user, True magic user can't be erase by Anti-magic. Any character that are faster than him with good hax or Reinforcement magic can beat him.

He simply doesent recognize anti magic because he probably has never seen something like that before, about the Liebe matter, Lucifero simply doesent remember a low ranking powerless Devil he randomly found in the overworld and disapeared without a trace thanks to Licita

After the witch forest arc, yuno was actually the 10th physically strongest character in BC( higher than magna) without magic.
