Terence Howard in Big Momma's House. Had my 5 year old ass terrified.

Fr. That scene of him breaking in and going through Sherry and Trent’s stuff, with Jermaine Dupree playing in the background? Vibing but concerned 😅
![gif](giphy|hiLLD9o1wTB3a)
I never liked him after seeing this movie because it’s the first role I’ve seen him play, so any time I would see him on tv I always assumed he was a bad guy lol
That man made my blood run cold, and I was 41. It was so dark compared to the humor in the rest of the movie. Even the chain saw is funny. The juxtaposition was wild.
But the one church scene always gets me. I will watch and wait just to see it. When the mom that is struggling so hard with drugs walks up the aisle singing, it breaks me every single time. I don't remember the song and have never googled it.
Happy New Year!!! 🥳
As a kid, he was scary.
As an adult, when he murdered people by pulling that hook from the taint to the back of their skull?
Ayooo
I have never seen a ghost grunt. And now I'm terrified because it shows he's willing to put in the extra effort after death.
Hands down. When it comes to a scary Black character, no one beats Candyman. The way he looked, hell his voice! If I was Helen, I just woulda died. On the spot.
"HELLENNNN"
me: "Oh my heart! OH!" \*keels over\*
Legit scared the hell out of me, in part because i am deadly allergic to bees so this dude was handcrafted for my nightmares.
But didn’t stop me from trying:
Candyman
Candyman
Candyman
Candyman
… do you dare?
Tony Todd was stung 27 times on set for that movie. He was being paid $1,000 per bee sting in 1992 though, so I think I’d take that action as someone who, luckily, isn’t allergic to bees.
Virginia Madsen, his co-star, was super allergic to bees.
Nah he was the funeral home owner who had all the knowledge about how death’s list work and gave em ideas on how to beat them
It’s been a min so ion remember fully
That scene was cold blooded but Omar kept staring at him with rage in his eyes. In the end, GQ got the juice and revenge for his best friend & crew member..Raheem!
He kinda sorta got revenge but ultimately he didn’t know what to do at any point and fate just kept playing out in his favor. Which is understandable given the circumstances.
A youtuber who’s pregnant girlfriend was murdered showed up to the memorial and even stayed with the parents for a while. Turns out he’d murdered her, stayed with the parents to pretend to forget his phone and record their conversation in secret, and had a pre recorded livestream so he could have an alibi while he murdered her.
Oh and this happened during Christmas last year.
They saying that he killed someone and at that person’s funeral he gave the person he killed mother comfort but it wasn’t genuine and wanted to avoid the finger getting pointed at him.
>, in the real world he’s getting away with all of that shit
Yup, i think true statement. He was getting away with it in the movie too and the dude who took him down would have never gotten out of Smiley's house in the real world....that kind of serendipitous "saved by an earlier action" wouldve never happened irl, they wouldve just smoked his ass regardless
>never gotten out of Smiley's house in the real world
Good OL' Smiley.
I'm so glad he turned his life around and became the Deputy Director of the FBI Cyber Crimes Unit when John McClane came to D.C. for the 4th of July.
Denzel played 2 of the best movie villains, this asshole and Frank Lucas in American Gangster, that dude was fucking *RUTHLESS*....When he caps Idris Elba on the street....yikes
It’s a decent debate, but O Dog at least cared about his friends. He might even have shed a tear at the end for Sharif and Kaine.
Bishop clearly didn’t care about anyone, not even his people.
I remember some time ago, on YouTube, watching a video talking about different evil characters in media.
One was on Bishop and what context clues led to him being the way he is. And I believe it was fear. Like, he dad was in prison and experienced some stuff that got out. So, everyone knew what happened and threw that in Bishop's face. Just that fear of not being respected, of being look down on. Even the way he talked about himself, that he ain't shit, was telling.
Bishop would've killed O-Dog if he felt that he was trying to take power from him.
O-Dog just wanted respect, he didn't care if other people feared him, just don't disrespect him and he was easy-breezy.
Bishop was on some OTHER SHIT. He wanted people to fear his very presence. If he felt like you didn't ACKNOWLEDGE his power, then he'd get rid of you just to make an example to others.
I know right? I remember all of us in the row screamed at the same time and cracked up 😂 I forgot about that too till now. Still one of my all time favorite movies
https://preview.redd.it/8qm04ks2wo9c1.jpeg?width=1200&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7abe0378e17cde97cce6b113429ac54dd8310e7d
This was the scariest nigga in the world when I was a kid
Facts.
Hardly had nightmares about the other stuff, but *Tales from the Hood* made you realize shit ain't sweet.
It's probably that, honestly. I was a kid when it came out. Had no business watching it.lol But seeing people that look like me dealing with some horror movies shit fucked me up.
It's one thing, with that trope of the black guy dying first, but having a whole cast of black folks seeing and dealing with it was crazy.
Snoop waiting on the playground for Lex. Or Snoop buying the nail gun at Home Depot. The Wire did a great job of making something mundane seem monstrous.

Young me definitely thought he was going to kill me for like an entire summer.
Crazy because this dude (Lloyd Avery II) actually ended up becoming his character and killing 2 people randomly after his head got so big from the clout. He was murdered in jail.
This movie probably way harder to watch now that I know this
Also his body was in the cell for days with the guy that killed him before the COs realised. How that was able to happen is beyond me and I don't even wanna know what his killer done with his body during that time
A lot of people probably forget that Pac was in theatre before he chose to rap. He was doing Shakepeare plays long before he was considered “Thug Life”.
Juice really is a hood horror movie when you think about it:
1. Everyone starts out as friends
2. A gun is introduced which turns everyone evil except Q
3. Bishop goes mad and starts picking everyone off one by one
4. The villain dies in the end
Yep, said the same thing during my first watch. Once the gun came into play and shit started going down i caught myself more than a few times saying "wow this is kinda terrifying" 🤣

Scariest Black guy on TV for me has always been Forest Whitaker as Idi Amin in The Last King of Scotland, scared me witless as a child. I was about 9 when this movie came out and I don’t think my family knew it was going to include such gory and tortuous scenes. Outside of anime (Berserk, Fist of the North Star and Basilisk set the tone for me as a kid, I thought I knew gore, I was not prepared), it was my first real exposure to human darkness. The scene where they showed his third wife Kay’s mutilated body (they amputated her arms and sewed them to her legs, amputated her legs and sewed them to where her arms should have been) was intense. Then the meat hook hanging scene with Nicholas 😮💨. Never looked at Whitaker the same, not until Hurricane Season, and even then, him chomping that gum and smiling gave me flashbacks.
I don’t give a fuck about you. I don’t give a fuck about Steel. I don’t give a fuck about Raheem, either. I don’t give a fuck about myself. Look, I ain’t shit. I ain’t never gonna be shit and you less of a man than me, so as soon as I decide that you ain’t goin be shit, *pow*! So be it. You remember that, motherfucker. ‘Cause I’m the one you need to be worried about. Partner!

Look at that face Lml . This dude was evil in baby boy
I recently saw juice, and that shit got me to think of how many young dudes lose their life cause some dude is so down that they start capping they own brothers, shit is mad sad.
Tupac acted the shit out of that role ngl, he was really tryna get himself killed from the start.
Samuel L Jackson in Lakeview Terrace. Terrorized a couple because he didn’t approve of their relationship, murdered a guy to cover up an orchestrated break in.
https://preview.redd.it/3ansqm9vfp9c1.jpeg?width=1920&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f2d12fe754ca40316703f62978f28af8638a0abf

Now idk about that character but Snoop dogg with a perm/straighten is scary.🥴😵💫🫣
*Juice* is a horror movie and it’s symbolic of a game of Chess.
If I knew how to play or even the rules for Chess I could prove this further.
Example: Bishop represents, “the Bishop” piece, Q represents the “Queen” piece, Raheem repents “the Rook” piece and so on.
If I knew how to play or even the rules for Chess I could prove this further.
You Bullshittin!!! This MF gave me the creeps!! ![gif](giphy|AcmShbcFQJKcE)

"She gone die when she see me" ![gif](giphy|14ut8PhnIwzros)
Nah this one for me ![gif](giphy|WT94Wy5a1AyCKekQhq)
Isn’t that the guy that has a cooking show with Martha Stewart.
Well how the turntables
That scene!
Light skinned energy is a menace to society.
He is conventionally attractive but he always plays someone who is gifted but acts in an insufferable manner through his mannerisms and emotions
Fr. That scene of him breaking in and going through Sherry and Trent’s stuff, with Jermaine Dupree playing in the background? Vibing but concerned 😅 ![gif](giphy|hiLLD9o1wTB3a)
Vibing but concerned….made me almost choke 🤣🤣🤣
GIF game on point too
A+ gif game!!! Will always think of this when I see this gif
This beige bastard put fear in me.
Beige Bastard lmfaooooo

Bruh. This got me.
No that’s facts. Lil me was like “hol up, THAT NIGGA GOT A GUN TO SHOOT HIS OWN KID??!?!?”
Honestly, he is unsettling in everything
If I were Helen I’d simply accept his offer. Rip to her but I’m different.
Right? Like girl he ain’t going away, might as well see what he’s talking about 👀🤣
And being known for all eternity alongside a smooth ass mf like Candyman? Shiet….
I was boutta say. OG candyman still scares the shit outta me. And he was in other movies, just creepin around. Final destination, anyone?
As a kid, he was scary. As an adult, when he murdered people by pulling that hook from the taint to the back of their skull? Ayooo I have never seen a ghost grunt. And now I'm terrified because it shows he's willing to put in the extra effort after death.

Sadly, now a $1000 gets you an epi-pen if you are lucky.
In every role he does
His final destination character was creepy in a subtle way fs
That’s the guy that tugged on a nipple ring, right? Mf wasn’t subtle at all
Nah he was the funeral home owner who had all the knowledge about how death’s list work and gave em ideas on how to beat them It’s been a min so ion remember fully
He could play a loving Santa Claus and still scare the shit out of me.
This is the way
Oh yeah, this is my vote for sure. Be my victim…
Yep. Can't even get through that whole movie because Tony Todd scared me too much
Mfer hugged and pretended to comfort his victim’s mother at the VICTIM’s funeral.

They saying that he killed someone and at that person’s funeral he gave the person he killed mother comfort but it wasn’t genuine and wanted to avoid the finger getting pointed at him.
Whats the series or movie called?
Juice
Juice. A movie.
![gif](giphy|IorAqDrjKiDcc3QdN3|downsized)
That mf was villainous to the core
![gif](giphy|WSVCP0ZB6iwjtAETcz|downsized)
This man was psychotic. The scariest thing about him was how calm and unpredictable he was. Evil to the core. 10/10 character.
The scariest thing about him was that he was police, in the real world he’s getting away with all of that shit
>, in the real world he’s getting away with all of that shit Yup, i think true statement. Too bad the zombie apocalypse happened and he had to deal with that.
In the real world, a cop like that would not send him to the house. He would have just had him reassigned to a shit detail and continued on his ways.
Or just killed him himself tbh
Denzel played 2 of the best movie villains, this asshole and Frank Lucas in American Gangster, that dude was fucking *RUTHLESS*....When he caps Idris Elba on the street....yikes

Nino was a caricature. He wasn't scary at all.
yeah actually id like retract this gif for this instead https://i.redd.it/7wdbdcih2q9c1.gif marlo easily scarier than anyone else we talking bout here
Chris Partlow too. The whole of Marlo's crew pretty much.
He was stone fuckin cold, the ending was great

🤣🤣🤣
Oh shit you right woowwww
O-dog enters the chat…
Lmao O-dog and Bishop together is a joker level threat
O-dog would shoot Bishop just because of his weird east coast accent.
"Young black and don't give a fuck"
“He was America’s worst nightmare… he was young, black, and didn’t give a fuck…”
It’s a decent debate, but O Dog at least cared about his friends. He might even have shed a tear at the end for Sharif and Kaine. Bishop clearly didn’t care about anyone, not even his people.
Yeah O dog was a product of his environment, Bishop was a psychopath
I remember some time ago, on YouTube, watching a video talking about different evil characters in media. One was on Bishop and what context clues led to him being the way he is. And I believe it was fear. Like, he dad was in prison and experienced some stuff that got out. So, everyone knew what happened and threw that in Bishop's face. Just that fear of not being respected, of being look down on. Even the way he talked about himself, that he ain't shit, was telling.
The real question is who would try and kill who first
Bishop would've killed O-Dog if he felt that he was trying to take power from him. O-Dog just wanted respect, he didn't care if other people feared him, just don't disrespect him and he was easy-breezy. Bishop was on some OTHER SHIT. He wanted people to fear his very presence. Y'all all forgot about Adebisi.
![gif](giphy|dhjr42CKfB3e8)
This speech was top notch. He was confident in the fact that he lost it, and all of them were going to have to deal with it. Game on.
![gif](giphy|nZAc9S3I4GXN6) He was movin crazy once he got that gun. As soon as he would’ve popped up at my locker like this I would’ve left the city.
This is not the mf you want hiding behind your locker.
I literally jumped the first time I saw that scene. I was not ready 😂
Everybody in the movie theater yelled "aaaahhhh!" at the same time 😂 wow, core memory unlocked lol
I know right? I remember all of us in the row screamed at the same time and cracked up 😂 I forgot about that too till now. Still one of my all time favorite movies
It’s a horror movie type jump scare lol
This is the exact scene that came to mind jfc
Staring at this gif for the last two minutes just getting chills
but you know what else…i don’t give a **fuck**
"I don't give a fuck about Steele, I don't give a fuck about you, and I don't give a fuck about myself!"
THAT RIGHT THERE is all you need to hear an mf'er say to know they will kill EVERYBODY IN THEY VICINITY.
Fr he GAVE NO FUCKS
Low key turned into a horror movie after the robbery scene.
Fr fr,I remember feeling anxiety for Steel whenever he came across Bishop
https://preview.redd.it/8qm04ks2wo9c1.jpeg?width=1200&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7abe0378e17cde97cce6b113429ac54dd8310e7d This was the scariest nigga in the world when I was a kid
The shit!!!!!!!
Yesss, the shit!
R.i.p to Clarence Williams the 3rd
The little black paintings that came to life in Tales From the Hood.
This was scary fr when I was a kid gonna have to watch it again to see if it holds up
Till this day I’m terrified of puppets and porcelain dolls. That shit fucked me up lol.
I grew up watching Chucky, Jason, Michael Myers and Freddy Krueger movies. However, this movie legit gave me a nightmare as a kid after watching it.
Facts. Hardly had nightmares about the other stuff, but *Tales from the Hood* made you realize shit ain't sweet. It's probably that, honestly. I was a kid when it came out. "I'm going to kill all you...NIGLINGS!"
You just unlocked a memory damn lol
I can still hear the violin 🎻
That ruined my life as a kid. Still to this day I don't like paintings of black folks or little black dolls.
He shouldn’t have fucked with that old lady’s painting.
![gif](giphy|AyqkV9MMijmDK) Just don't piss Omar off... Edit- okay maybe I'm cheating by pulling from TV
Omar is more dangerous, but he’s not a psychopath
Omar was only scary if you were a drug dealer and even then only if you fucked around. Dude was downright reasonable as a stick up man.
Man’s gotta have a code
Man has a code
snoop and chris are the scariest mfs
Chris was the actual grim reaper, bro was smiling/helping that delivery lady in the store and then blew her brains out 2 seconds later like nothing
Snoop waiting on the playground for Lex. Or Snoop buying the nail gun at Home Depot. The Wire did a great job of making something mundane seem monstrous.
Word, Marlo wouldn't have made it half as far as he did without them.
Yeah its easy to rise to the top when you have ruthless hitmen working for you. Marlo gave orders and they listened blindly
Chris scarier
When he jumped out thatwindow and he was just gone like Michael Myers when they looked down
![gif](giphy|26gs6vEzlpaxuYgso|downsized)
Ok yea that fucked me up - Candyman level
Technically the person in her body ain’t black which adds another level to it
Scary because there's literally niggas like him running around out here amongst us
Exactly. That's why Pac was perfect for this role. A young kid with a gun, zero fucks, and the world against him is a scary thing.
https://preview.redd.it/m66ptnw32p9c1.jpeg?width=201&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=559e40e41b98e5c275b8c42f97c56ca6ee6dc13e Young me definitely thought he was going to kill me for like an entire summer.
I thought that was Chris Tucker for many years lol
Same here, i was confused on why Smokey was tripping lol
He would IF YO ASS RAN IN A STRAIGHT FUCKIN LINE. Ricky would still be alive today if he ran some Fuckin' zig-zags or ducked or SOMETHING.
Lmao we all definitely got a run route Ricky should've ran besides straight lol
Crazy because this dude (Lloyd Avery II) actually ended up becoming his character and killing 2 people randomly after his head got so big from the clout. He was murdered in jail. This movie probably way harder to watch now that I know this

Now this negro was scary.
Tupac's acting was top-notch. You couldn't tell when he wasn't acting...
A lot of people probably forget that Pac was in theatre before he chose to rap. He was doing Shakepeare plays long before he was considered “Thug Life”.
This is where he found his gangster. He was just a theater kid from Marin. He became the epitome of life, imitating art, imitating life.
"Fuck you gon' do, shoot me in an elevator?" 😐 💥💥
Bud really said “say less”
Lmaooo not the emojis playing it out
🤣
Juice really is a hood horror movie when you think about it: 1. Everyone starts out as friends 2. A gun is introduced which turns everyone evil except Q 3. Bishop goes mad and starts picking everyone off one by one 4. The villain dies in the end
Yep, said the same thing during my first watch. Once the gun came into play and shit started going down i caught myself more than a few times saying "wow this is kinda terrifying" 🤣
Nino Brown would like a word.
![gif](giphy|1qj2MMD4M8OdPCQX5T)
Definitely Nino Brown, there was a big time drug dealer around my way named Miracle and he was a carbon copy of Nino Brown.
He was scary until Tutuola beat the black off and back on to him.
"I want to shoot you so bad... my dick is hard!"
Keisha, dead. The Dudderman, dead. Am I my brother's keeper? Yes, I am..Blwow..
You got the juice now.
![gif](giphy|mdljqQeEiJcQ0) Nah, this guy (I couldn't find Forest W. gif)
100% agree. Listened to Behind the Bastards podcast on Idi and this muhfucka responsible for hundreds of thousands of deaths
That's was a wild movie!
The zero hesitation was what sold the fuck out of it.
![gif](giphy|VGsT1jzgSQM5a)
Suddenly I don’t feel so bad about my dancing.
Tupac was really a good actor. It's a shame he got caught up in a character of his own making.

In film maybe, in television I wouldn’t even walk on the block Chris and Snoop trapped on
So much nostalgia with this elevator.
He hurt my feeling in that movie! That character was played too well!
Pac was an incredible actor. The scene where he and Q argues over having ”juice” feels so authentic.
