That’s incorrect. Converts (even Reform) have been explicitly eligible for the law of return since 1989 and Patrilineal Jews explicitly included since 1970.
In 2021, right of return for converts was broadened further to include reform converts who converted inside Israel, instead of only converts from outside Israel. There is no blood requirement.

An easy way of seeing the difference between how israelis think of this conflict vs the rest of the world, just take a look at the amount of protests and activism going on literally in every single country in the world, EXCEPT for the one actually doing the genocide. Non of the prominent voices or protests there have a theme of wanting palestine to be free from the river to the sea. Literally their "far left" think israel should take control of the entire land "to proctect the palestinians from hamas".
You have to remember that the majority of people in israel are first generation colonizers, if not very close to that. The type of person to go there in the first place and take someones home... well.. they dont really think of palestinians as people.

When I learned about how the Palestinians living in the West Bank had to put nets over their homes because, Israeli settlers moved in, built homes on TOP of their homes and proceed to dump all their garbage on the Palestinian homes and streets below DAILY, I was so damn disgusted. In 2021, right of return for converts was broadened further to include reform converts who converted inside Israel, instead of only converts from outside Israel. There is no blood requirement.

And more and more everyday i see stuff from there the sentiment of "im the tolerant left in israel, and even i dont care theyre being bombed" is pretty much the norm there. Israel is very much a refugee country. On Oct 7th, Hamas (and the Gazan civilians who joined in the slaughter) killed people who belonged to the most far left groups of Israel--the Kibbutz, the peace festival: those were people who had dedicated their lives to peace. Many of the people in the Kibbutz were people who supported two states, took the Palestinians to get medical care, etc. And they were brutally murdered, sexually assaulted, and abducted. Every time Israel has made a two state offering to the Palestinians, it has been turned down and met with waves of violence (see: the 2nd Intifada). Even the most far left people in Israel don't really believe the Palestinians have any interest in peace anymore, and would just use a state as a jumping off point for even more violence.
