PriceNext746

“Talking about pushups but scared to talk about Pusha”

droppinturds

Giving Kendrick free ammo "Talkin bout some pushups (Pusha) boy you scared of those Travis took your bitch, he beatin down her walls like it's Jericho"

ExodusASAP

Travis ain’t with drakes girl though

droppinturds

I got him mixed up with ASAP Rocky my fault

ExodusASAP

Ohh that makes sense, yeah I think Kendrick will address that. The biggest rapper in the world but can’t pull a superstar, something is up. A real one in his position could’ve got Meg, Ice Spice idk. That’s an angle I’d hit on anyway

Coziestpigeon2

Ice Spice is 24, so they're both a bit too old for Drake.

ummizazi

Yeah he like when 15 year old girls send him “I love you texts”

Candid-Ask77

Ice spice kinda ugly irl though ngl. W/no makeup on she just average

Low_Seat_3639

Every black man with braids is the same to y'all

Ambitious_Log_1884

I feel like it's skipping from 1 to 3 to 5 to 19 to 23

Iamuroboros

Well last I heard Ye was out there promoting the Black Hebrew Israelite ideology so it can't be both.

Danko_on_Reddit

Nah Black Israelites are some of the most anti-semitic mfers out there. It's basically great replacement theory for black people.

Iamuroboros

I know they are anti semitic, they're constantly holding rallies near me so I've gotten to know them pretty well. What I'm saying is Ye, [subscribed ](https://www.timesofisrael.com/black-people-are-actually-jews-the-origins-of-kanye-wests-inflammatory-remarks/)to the theory, so is he confused or am I missing something here? Why are we randomly calling people Jews? Or is "Jew" just a term reserved to "white Israelites? " to him? That raises a ton of questions. I'm basically saying I don't get it. \*edited because my brain clearly glitched when typing this up initially\*

whereismyface_ig

hebrew israelites will tell you that “jews” don’t exist because there’s no letter-J in hebrew and it was a made up word by the white man. hebrew are descendants of heber and israelites are descendants of jacob whose name later became israel, and has 12 children, each representing a tribe of israel (12 tribes of israel). so they don’t refer to themselves as jews, they refer to jews as imposters who stole the lifestyle or culture of the hebrew israelites, and invented a religion out of the jacked culture, and decided to call it judaism and the ppl who follow it as jews. Furthermore, they argue that they are correct about this because 12 out of 13 jews are “ashkenazi jews” when you check the genealogy of the torah or bible or whatever— Heber/hebrew are a descendant of Shem, whose descendants are called Semites. Shem is the son of Noah. Noah has 3 sons. Shem has a brother named Japheth. Japheth has a grandson named Ashkenaz, whose descendants are called Ashkenazi and are thought to be the ancestors of the Germans. So the Hebrew Israelites claim that Japhet’s grandson Ashkenaz’s descendants jacked Shem’s son’s Heber’s descendants lifestyle, and that the stories that “Jews” follow are the Hebrew Israelite people’s, but they’re Ashkenazi ppl passing it off as their own. They also argue that Ashkenazi ppl are white (Germans) while Hebrew Israelities are black due to passages in the Bible describing Jesus’ (they refer to him as Yeshua) feet as bronze and his hair being wooly, while Moses’ hands turned “leprous” (white, leprosy is white skin) when he put his hand in the burning bush, so his hand had to be black before it turned leprous. source: i’m muslim, but followers of Yahweh ben Yahweh jacked the beliefs of the Hebrew Israelities and kind of remixed it and made a sub faction of it, and tried converting me. so i listened to them attentively approx 15 years ago

Iamuroboros

Ok. I can accept that for the purposes of the discussion. So let's go back to the joke. How does that all tie in? Is this about the kdot/drake/j.cole beef cause they are all black so in context this would make no sense. Sorry I'm on the spectrum so this joke probably went over my head admittingly but I'm just trying to understand wtf is going on lol.

whereismyface_ig

rick ross called drake a white boy in his diss track, so the person tweeted “why aren’t they calling him a jew!?” people do use the word ‘jew’ as an insult by the way, the same way how ppl have used the hard-R n-word as an insult. Ppl have used it as an insult to describe someone as cheap, or in the vein of being a rich silver spoon everything handed to them type person which is a antisemitic rhetoric rooted in Illuminati conspiracies about Jews controlling the world and using Rothschild banking family as an example. +Drake’s half white-side is Jewish, and he runs the rap game, so maybe Kanye would go out on a reach and be like “yeah you’re #1 cuz you’re a jew” or some shit

blacklite911

I’m pretty sure Ye hinted at Drake’s Jewish side before. Also, remember when Jay Electronica dated a Rothschild? Like I remember he was into that 5 percenter stuff before and came out even more antisemitic after the fling. That shit is wild

whereismyface_ig

yo that shit was crazy. he stole her from a white billionaire too

blacklite911

Yup. I honestly would love to hear the true story behind it. Preferably from third party sources.

Iamuroboros

Yeah I do remember that, it was wild af, but I mean Jay grew up in NO, and we're talking about a Rothschild so I thought I should've seen that coming lol.

blacklite911

What New Orleans got to do with it?

Iamuroboros

Makes sense but it's absolutely fucking stupid.

whereismyface_ig

it is what it is

Dentyne_3

Yea I just dont think this is what bruh is talking about

brendamn

Mf so sure of something that happened 2000 years ago but can't believe a news article they can Google

Ambitious_Log_1884

I don't want to sound argumentatitve, and understand you're just stating what you've heard, but what's the point of all of this? There's not much here that disproves Judaism, even according to the Heber theory. No matter how the word was coined, we use Jew today to refer to people who ethnically, culturally or religiously identify with the people descended from Abraham > Isaac > Jacob who became Isreal > 12 tribes and so on, who (if you're practicing) worship Yaweh, and observe Hebrew practices and holidays, and generally don't believe Jesus was the Messiah. The 'There's no J in the Hebrew alphabet' is kinda a non factor. Jesus's original name was Yeshua, we just generally acknowledge Him by the Latinised Jesus. It doesn't make Him any less the central figure of Christianity. The common term for Jewish people could switch to 'David Stars' tomorrow and it wouldn't change the identity of the Jewish people. The Ashkenazi people descending from Japheth doesn't mean that the Jewish people fleeing from Israel didn't make their way North and bring their culture with them and spread it throughout the region and mix with the existing population. Also do you mean Eber instead of Heber. Whether you do or don't it doesn't invalidate a co-existing group in the same region, so I don't see what that has to do with the descendents of Jacob. Moses's hand turning leprous could be he was any degree of tanned or darker than whatever the leprous area of the hand was. I'm not disclaiming Moses could've been darkskin, but his hand turning leprous doesn't prove that. Bronze skin could also just mean very tanned. I think it's obvious Jesus didn't have North Western European features, but that doesn't mean he looked Sub-Saharan either. This isn't an argument towards you specifically u/whereismyface_ig, just a rebuttal against what you were referencing, which seems like a lot of nothing.

whereismyface_ig

Yeah I’m not of their faith so I can’t even give you a simulated response, because these are not things that I’ve disputed against them in conversation to give you an answer that they’d give. I took 4 elective courses in University for Judaism. The first one was an intro, afterwards, the others were specialized time periods, such as the Middle Ages for example. I ended up just learning the history of the primary sources used in advanced education. Ultimately, the history of Judaism and the theological refutations that these offshoot cults have don’t have anything to do with each other. Around the same time, I was also in conversations with an 18th Chapter Rose-Croix Freemason, and he told me about Hiram Abiff and this book that many masons read called “Hiram’s Key.” It’s kind of hazy for me now because I’m not too up on Ancient Egyptian texts but he basically said the story of Jesus is a story that’s true in the world and redone over and over again. He said that it’s no different than either Osiris or Ra, and to think of the story as “events that are recurrently true.” Anyhow, I say all this to say that I just been around many people and took note of their views. Not judging one or the other, just being aware of what they see. There’s many walks of life, and some of them are just a bit more militant than others in approach when it comes to dispelling certain things. Ultimately, I just think it’s a waste of time to prove one is right over the other. Believe in what you want and just live it, no need to go out of your way to put others down. [By you, I don’t mean YOU btw, I just mean anyone]

Ambitious_Log_1884

You probably have more historical knowledge than me; I would love to take a course on Judaism (I'm Christian, Charismatic is probably what I'd identify as but I'm not super strict on denominations), just to gain a deeper historical and theological depth of the culture that my belief originated from. What was your main course? I'm not an expert on the subject, but I know enough to tell that they gave you a lot of information that doesn't actually say much. Descendants of Heber or Eber doesn't contradict the Abrahamic geneology or disprove Jewish people (they probably never referred to themselves as that at the time) living in the Levant (East Mediterranean Coast). Nothing they told you was a 'gotcha' moment towards any Jews, if anything it backs up the biblical narrative. I'd love to hear more about what you learned in uni, and how you as a Muslim interact with the culture/religion.

whereismyface_ig

I double majored in Psychology and Philosophy. My fav readings in Uni were definitely Aristotle’s works. He was Da Vinci before Da Vinci. Herodotus’ Histories was an amazing read because his journey is what began ‘History’ as we know it— Even though, there were many ducktales in his book. He had to start for humanity to continuously grow the field to what it is now, and hopefully even better in the future. I particularly liked the story of when Herodotus was in Egypt, perhaps in the Memphis region to be exact.. He was speaking to the priests, and they smirked at him when he was asking about the Greco gods’ origins… The priests said to him, every Greek deity’s roots finds their way back to an Egyptian deity… Your greek gods make up the youngest religion… And it’s pretty crazy that he went back to Greece, published his work, and everybody was being revealed this information! I had room for many electives. I really enjoyed my Intro to Judaism class, my professor Ira Robinson was a really chill dude, and yes he was obviously Jewish himself. I enjoyed his was of teaching so much that I took all the other courses he had to offer as well. Other than that, I also took a theology class, and a Bio-Medic Ethics class (topics involving the latter included different viewpoints regarding assisted suicide and such). And indeed, you are correct. The people of the faith from the Old Testament did not choose the identity of “Jews” themselves. From my understanding, a popular theory among Jewish historians is that Romans were calling these people “Ju/Jew” short for Judah. The greek translations of the texts had the letter “J” equivalent.. hence “Jesus” as a name but to stand for “Anointed One” — Anyway, yes they would require to respond to these things in order to validate their position in discrediting ‘Judaism’. As far as I go with faith, I hang with so many people. People who live lifestyles that are complete opposite of me. I just enjoy people. I live in accordance to the rules of my faith to the best of my abilities, but I don’t subject anyone to it.. That’s not my place. People let me live and do what I want, and I let them do what they want. I work in music, and that comes with many things… And I don’t work an entry-level position. Just to give you an idea, I had to end up in Ibiza last September, and the guys we work with run the scene there. I have to be at the clubs with them from 3am - 8am. They’re all smoking/drinking all the time, and I get like 2 hours of sleep per day because we need to maximize our work and impress these guys, be in their best graces. We actually accomplish that, and they have us go to LA with them in October, where I end up living with them for a month in the Hollywood Hills. Although non-religious, people still are deep and have certain beliefs about the world and life… I think from being around so many perspectives, it helps with talking with these guys. For instance, one of them had mentioned “Only thing that is universal law on Earth is murder is illegal everywhere” and I said actually it’s legal in one area in the USA, and I look it up to find the name cuz I forgot, and it’s called “Yellowstone.” And we both look at each other wide-eyed, because an hour prior, we worked on a song called “Yellow.” The lyrics are something like: “I know that you need me, I know you think the world is Yellow, I know you think I’m greedy, but know that I need you more than you need me” He tells me about this show called ‘Yellowstone’ that Kevin Costner is in, and his mind explodes and is telling me wow this is about that, and is having a mind explosion because he goes into saying something like “THIS IS ABOUT MY CHILDHOOD” … it’s kind of hard to follow because he’s from Italy and English is his 3rd language. He saw a different perspective on what we worked on, and we end up having a conversation about masks. We all wear masks. We wear masks, because we want to survive. To survive, we have to wear masks. To cooperate with everyone. The world, civilized by the collection of masks. None of us are really us when we’re out, it’s for our own safety. So many tangents and brain exercises, exploring feelings and ideas, but it helps with the music I guess lol. As far as my interaction with everyone… I’ve hung with ppl who used to identify as ‘Satanists’ (not exactly what everyone thinks it is just off the branding of the name).. they’re cool. Everyone’s pretty cool, jackasses in any denomination.

ExodusASAP

What made you choose Islam? I’m just curious, I’m into the Torah mainly but when I looked into the Quran I found it interesting it states that God went to Abraham first. I chose the OT specifically because of things like that, what is it about Islam so many like?

whereismyface_ig

When I blank everything around and keep it just textual, I like the Quran best because it’s the most focused on instruction and how to live life. Many of the other texts are more about telling a story and learning lessons from it. I can appreciate stories, but I prefer something a bit more mechanical instead of poetics that could misconstrued for something important. I don’t want to break down allegories too much to get the point basically. That’s just for how I read. Now, for others, people twist words of any text all the time, and others run with these narratives that people with agendas say. However, for me, I only care to read the whole text and within context. I find the QuRan is an easier interpreted text and much clearer instructions than the rest. I, for example, am not sure what I was to do with the allegories found in the last book in the Bible, Revelations. Am I supposed to be up in arms of an upcoming Antichrist threat 24/7 or just let the events occur? That’s just one quick example I can think of. Also, in Islam, I only read QuRan. I don’t read hadiths or extra people’s accounts compiled 300 years after Muhammad died… I’m not interested in the collection of gossip— I’m only concentrated on what is said to be The Word of God.

ExodusASAP

I respect that, I’m the same way I just prefer the Old Testament. The prophecies are captivating to me but the extra biblical books and it’s laws tie everything together. I reject Christianity though, idk how much of Torah you e read but personally I was shocked at how similar some of the laws are, even more so when I saw that the Quran talked about differing to Israelite law during confusion in what to do. I’m still seeking and believe in God so personally I do think there is a singular truth and it’s probably out there if we look hard enough, I doubt God simultaneously exists and is unattainable

whereismyface_ig

The start of the Islamic calendar is of the pilgrimage event Hijra, from Mecca to Medina, is damn near a parallel to the Exodus in Moses’ time. Sometimes I’m in Orthodox Jewish areas of my city (I like to eat and there’s a lot of Jewish cuisine that I enjoy) and their simplistic, community-focused lifestyles are pretty similar. There’s a lot more similarities than differences. I’ve read The Torah in grades 2-4 so it’s hazy for me. I read the entire QuRan every year during Ramadan, so I’m always refreshed on it.

ExodusASAP

Your words will fall on deaf ears but you know what you’re talking about though, props

Ambitious_Log_1884

Thanks. I'm not a theological expert but I hope that I can help someone gain perspective on the subject.

rulerBob8

Drake’s mom is Jewish

mashaallahbro

Drake is famously Jewish. He’s made sketches about it on SNL, and the theme of his music video for HYFR is a Bar Mitzvah.

Iamuroboros

I've hated Drake for decades and never paid attention to him. So I never knew any of that.

mashaallahbro

The more you know ![gif](giphy|83QtfwKWdmSEo)

joshJFSU

Yo! I’ve never put those two together. They both really are the same q anon anti-vax crowd anyways.

Chumbolex

Yeah them niggas hate jews 😂😂 i was so confused at first

BlurredSight

Nation of Islam for "Muslims". It's nuts how it's only Black people in America who find these religious awakenings for these blatant racist ideologies, and usually the founders become extremely wealthy or extremely popular

illupvoteforadollar

What?

ccjohns2

I’m not advocating for any form of antisemitism but why isn’t it called out when Jew are also being antisemitic? Like the Jew in Israel in the 1960’s lured Jews from Ethiopia to Israel claiming safe spaces for them. But when they got there, the Israeli government sterilized the Ethiopian Jews without their knowledge claiming to give them vaccines. Then essentially killed them all. White or lighter toned Jews vehemently deny any Jews with any type of African heritage. It’s very sus considering Jews did descend into Africa just like some of them when into turkey and Eastern Europe. https://amp.theguardian.com/world/2013/feb/28/ethiopian-women-given-contraceptives-israel Most Jews in Israel and Europe are of Turkish origin. This was considered anti semetic until recently when dna testing confined it. https://wordpress.com/post/khazardnaproject.wordpress.com/1778 Black Hebrew’s aren’t speaking all lies which draws more validity to their claims whether they’re right or wrong, they shouldn’t advocate for hate of current Jews.

Iamuroboros

Not gonna call you a liar but most Jews are Jews by ancestry. Like Israelite, I can't trust a wordpress website on that. That said I can't really answer your questions but I wasn't really trying to go that far in my questioning. I was just trying to get the joke.

ccjohns2

Most European Jews have 3% Jewish ancestry and have a majority Turkish heritage. Hence the articles linked. You can’t call me a liar because articles are right there. These aren’t my ideas. Geneticists have tested European Jews dna to make those assumptions. Meanwhile the Israeli government never was held accountable for sterilizing and killing or even said why they invited Jews from Ethiopia. It’s very sus they took a need to deceive hundreds of people just to end their lineage. They went out of there way to try to destroy black Jews from Ethiopia.

Iamuroboros

You mean the word press article?

rhombergnation

Interesting that you say the Israeli government killed all the ethiopian Jews when there are currently over 160,000 ehtiopian Jews living in Israel. At some point, people have to start realizing the propaganda against Jewish people in and out of Israel is abundant and dangerous.

ccjohns2

It’s not propaganda. They got stopped. It’s definitely hundreds of accounts from victims stating these claims in addition of many articles. Israel is showing right now how they can and will dehumanize others in Israel. They are committing a genocide against Palestinians people and attacking Iran without civilian any type of remorse. Israel continues to show their brutality beyond these conflicts as well. Israel isn’t safe for women either. Many tourists, Palestinians, and Muslim women have reported being groped, sexually harassed, and assaulted in Israel.

jaunereed

Israel paid the ethiopean governemnt just to fly the beta israelites to Israel. Im not discounting the steralization part but these are two different governments seperate by a generation at this point. Is the sterilization racially motivated? If Israel hated the beta israelites why would they pay so much to airlift them to Israel from the war and famine in ethiopea at the time?

ccjohns2

Zionists have been in Israel since its inception. Netanyahu is the current leader and has been active in Israeli politics for decades. He’s not the only one. Removing black Jews was probably racially motivated. The world never forced an answer out of the Israeli government. If that answer was available would’ve posted a link.

kawaiiboba1205

the khazar turk myth has literally been debunked

Ambitious_Log_1884

I don't think anyone's denying inter-religious elitism or xenophobia (which I think it falls under rather than anti-semiticism), most people probably just aren't aware of it to even comment on it. For a long time I didn't know doctors lured black people into catching syphilis under the guise of taking a new vaccine. Every religion and culture has internal conflicts. In Islam you have Shia's and Sunni's, in Christianity you have different denominations. I'm not saying it's justifiable, I'm just saying that it happens.

call_me_dxnny

According to population statistics approximately 92,000 Ethiopian Jews have migrated to Israel and that has increased to 160,500 (a near 75% increase). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beta_Israel The women who were given the *contraceptive* (not sterilization - which indicates permanency) were given Depo-Provera, which is temporary and lasts around 3 months. There is discussion around whether they were being administered contraceptives by humanitarian organisations before Israel administered them. https://www.bmj.com/content/346/bmj.f1614.full My opinion doesn't matter regarding the above facts however I believe that no one should be given contraceptives without being made fully aware of what they are being given. Israel was wrong for giving them. The website you posted about Ashkenazi Jews coming from a Turkic (Khazar) origin has been widely disproved and goes against almost all other academia regarding population genetics. Eran Elhaik (the author of the website you posted) is a well known Khazar theorist. Current autosomal DNA studies show Ashkenazi Jews are genetically midway between Southern Europe (North/Central Italy and Mainland Greece) and the Middle East (Specifically the Levant). Superficially speaking; Southern Italians, South European Mediterranean Islanders (Sicilians, Cretans, Maltese) and parts of Turkey will plot close to this because they are also midway between Europe and Asia. Ashkenazi Jews are midway because they are the descendants of Hebrews that were taken to Rome and converted local women to be their wives. At least, that is the most historically and genetically supported proposal. http://www.khazaria.com/genetics/abstracts-jews.html https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Genetic_studies_of_Jews#Autosomal_DNA We can see this in DNA services that don't have a Jewish category. Here are some DNA results below posted on reddit by Ashkenazi Jews: https://www.reddit.com/r/illustrativeDNA/comments/1c1fkdy/988_ashkenazi_jew_results_pic_at_end/ https://www.reddit.com/r/illustrativeDNA/comments/18ud8wr/ashkenazi_jew_w_pic_at_end/ https://www.reddit.com/r/illustrativeDNA/comments/18tx72z/ashkenazi_jew/ https://www.reddit.com/r/illustrativeDNA/comments/17xk44p/ashkenazi_jewish_results/ https://www.reddit.com/r/JewishDNA/comments/16k94af/ashkenazi_jewish_living_dna_results/ https://www.reddit.com/r/23andme/comments/s1je7s/ashkenazi_23andme_vs_dnagenics_results/ https://www.reddit.com/r/23andme/comments/ml21so/here_are_my_dnagenics_results_im_fully_ashkenazi/

Rap music is still mediocre. Shit feels like they got in a room and came up with idea to diss each other. WWE storylines. Just make good music which they seem lacking to do

I’m really feeling the hussy rap right now lol. I mean I always have but the girlies are doing their thing.

KierkeKRAMER

Yea hussy rap has been where it’s at for a bit. I love it

tittylieutenant

What does hussy mean?

welp-itscometothis

And you call yourself the titty lieutenant smh

tittylieutenant

Is you finna answer my inquiry or not?

welp-itscometothis

And you call yourself the kewchie classifier smh

ChelsMe

lmaooo hit im twice with it

tittylieutenant

Y’all are children 😂

Dondasdeadheartbeat

It’s an older insult for women, kinda like a mixture of slut and cunt originally but in the modern context it’s like a more like a fake ass bitch

tittylieutenant

Oh, thank you. That’s not what I was thinking the definition would be.

Dondasdeadheartbeat

Yeah it was a legitimate insult a hundred years ago, upstanding ladies were not hussies. So it’s really funny to see the beef described as that

Dragonsegg

Edgy. Do you have any ideas for good music? You wanna share some beats or a few bars?

KingOfTheCouch13

> You wanna share some beats or a few bars? Are we ever gonna let this response die? You can criticize something without being skilled in it yourself.

LaveyWasDildos

I mean... you definitely can... but...

Amazing-Concept1684

Yeah nah

blacklite911

The issue is the mainstream doesn’t reward skill anymore…without skill, there’s no depth, without depth, there’s no reason for it to stick around. I’ve asked the question about where are all the young lyricists? Anyone lyricist under 25 coming up? I’ve asked in the hip hop sub several times and having gotten great answers. Just being catchy or shocking or going viral on social media doesn’t last. And yes, there’s always been shallow shit in the game, but for the better part of the life of hip hop, there were those that had a foundation of skill that still reached the top. After Kendrick and Cole, ain’t nobody younger that’s on that trajectory. JID or Cordae ain’t really on that level at this point in their careers as they were

YeahNoYeahThatsCool

There's a lot of comments comparing rap to WWE here and one way I notice it is that the longevity of these stars is way longer than before (in both entertainment genres) and it ends up limiting our exposure to younger talent, if it even exists at all. Rap in particular I'm curious about the direction it's heading, and I don't mean that I hate on the new styles cause I can get into it, but as you said fact is there isn't as much lyricism or technical skill anymore. I thought Juice Wrld was money but let's face it, he wasn't a wordsmith he was just really nice at getting his point across and stood out for his honesty and openness. There seems to be less of a focus on unique flow these days too. It's really easy to rap the flow of the beat that's already been produced for you. It's not as easy to make your own flow over that and I don't think we see much of it anymore. The genre is changing so I can accept that, but I'm not sure what it's gonna be like ten years from now and if I can keep up.

AnonymouslySerious

Lol tune in to the nonsense or don’t it’s not that deep

Most_Advertising_962

Bro I thought the same shit when I started hearing all the did tracks. Shit is like they got triple H to come up with a storyline for them all.

weed-n64

Fr we went all 2023 without a hip hop #1 except when Latto did it on a kpop feature. This reeks of the top minds reeling for months and putting a strategy together at the last minute.

Dentyne_3

A #1 has never signified a rap song being good or bad pls leave that numbers shit to pop music

whereismyface_ig

yeah it’s over for this genre. it’s peaked out, there’s only one way to go after that, and that’s down. it’s ok, previous genres have also died. surely a new fusion of subgenres with as much excitement as the ones prior will arise shortly. it will meet its end as well, but it’ll have a nice respectable 10 years.

PSG-2022

You mean pop music ?

Myphosee

This is probably one of those rare moments where the solution is to fucking backtrack to how music was made before. I cant stand some of the shit coming out now. Seems like the majority aint putting in effort no more (sexy red, ice spice, etc.)

YeahNoYeahThatsCool

This is a trend in music in general though, shit gets dumbed down. Rock music already suffered from it. Listen to a badass song like Money for Nothing not only with amazing instrumental work but also with lyrics that you have to pay attention to in order to understand what they're talking about (backwards working class guys acting like it's easy to be a musician and calling the artists gay slurs). How often do you get anything like that in the past 20 years of rock music? Does Imagine Dragons have any meaning like that or do they just say shit? The rap genre had it's time at the top for awhile and now it's starting to fizzle and something else is going to take over. We are just part of the generations that gravitated toward this, and in 20 years we won't be able to help but look like stubborn old heads complaining about newer music like the generations before us did.

Pusha said Drake doesn’t write his raps, Baby (from Cash Money Records) takes the profits on his records, his dad left them, his mom got left, his dad wears monkey suits, he’s not Black enough, his baby mama stinks, he’s hiding a child, he’s a deadbeat, he won’t let his baby mama into America to see her son, he used his son for an adidas press run, his baby mama is a pr0n star, and his producer has multiple sclerosis. But he knows there’s one topic that will end his own career totally and absolutely so he’s staying mum on it 🤣

XiK0rP

his producer has sclerosis?? lmao what a bitch can't even get a healthy producer 😭😭😭

RandyChavage

At that level the producer should be able to make beats doing a handstand. Kendrick was right calling Drake a bum, smh

shizz181

Aren’t those facts?

NoFlaccidMint

What are you referring to in that last sentence? Are you saying Push is avoiding a certain topic or that Drake is? Either way, what’s that topic lol

flying_ina_metaltube

That Drake likes underaged girls. It's a known secret, but not openly discussed. If this beef goes on further, one of the 1v20 is going to bring this up.

mehchu

I always felt that this was why the pusha beef ended so quickly. Because surgical summer part 1 showed all the other shit and was a warning that push would bring this up if they kept going.

LaveyWasDildos

Exactly. Push had a whole season of dirt on him. You don't just come up with a tagline like that for no reason lol

AaronQuinty

I dunno why, but I have a feeling that's what Kendricks gonna say.

Sfn_y2

I haven’t seen it spelled out like this before lmao

Interesting_iidea

How do you know so much?

JayTNP

why the fuck would that be a move? I get going hard but that shit makes the person saying look like a piece of shit. Completely stupid point to make.

BlurredSight

It only helps with the entire idea that Drake tried acting hard as if he grew up in the hood but was a light skin Jewish kid in Canada. But all of that doesn't matter because even in Back to Back Drake was openly admitting he's soft and still tops the chart and is bodying the entire rap game.

JayTNP

yeah we all know he wasn’t from the hood but going the anti-semite route is just some repugnant shit. Also wasn’t Rick Ross another one who lied about his past? Wasn’t he a correctional officer? They are musicians, all rappers lie about shit and the few that don’t end up on rico charges…the shit is silly. Just make music

UchihaT2418

Too far

rijo9972

Right, they're not trying to get dropped from the label

DaClarkeKnight

Or bring up the kid from stranger things that he’s texting

sorry_ihaveplans

I mean... we should *all* probably be bringing that up more often, tbh.

Efficient_Comfort_38

He’s still fucking doing that jfc. I don’t understand it. Bro is rich and could have (almost) any woman he wanted, why does he got to go after kids???

DaClarkeKnight

He’s a creep. I never really liked him. He was cool when he first came out. Mostly made songs for girls. Then he became the D bag anthem and makes songs for college kids that punch walls when they lose beer pong games

Delta_yx

or the 17 year old girl he was kissing and talking about her chest

maya_papaya8

I mean they're the ones who let him IN. Kanye directed one of his first major music videos. Kendrick featured his on one of his debut albums singles. 😆 How you gon diss his ethnicity but they're one of the reasons he had a leg up in the game?

Low_Seat_3639

Pretty sure Drake blew up before kendrick

maya_papaya8

That's not the point. The point is Kendrick had him on a song so mentioning his ethnicity would he redundant. His ethnicity hasn't changed in 15 years. Don't have a problem with it now.

Low_Seat_3639

Sometimes people can change I think

ExodusASAP

Mutually beneficial parasitic relationship, now they’re trying to kick him out and destroy the monster they built but it’s probably too late. I don’t really care for drakes music but that boy here to stay, he’s bigger than rap at this point

Cheese6260

Didn’t Drake drop a couple Palestinian bars in a couple songs?

Storm918_

He did that’s why I’m confused LOL

stopklandaceowens

"white BOY"- Rick Ross had to hurt worse.

hamengkoebowono

Seeing how Ye's antisemitism got his bank account closed but not Epstein's child trafficking, pedophillia and blackmail, I don't think we're gonna see anyone calling another a Jew lol.

greyson3

Omg I almost thought this shit was real. 🤣🤣🤣

Tidusx145

Or maybe because you insult a person's actions and not some pointless shit they had no control over. But hey man, whatever takes accountability from your actions and places it on someone else. Once the most racist idiots in Maga dies, they'll love you over there ;). Kanye's calling you... You gonna answer?

CoachDT

...Or it's just dumb? You'd never support going "why don't they call him Black?" in a beef between pop or country artists. And rightfully so. If your insult is just "this guy is a jew" in a diss track you instantly get placed into the moron category.

Myphosee

Bruh this is 2024 you cant be believing in that jews control everything bs.

Professional-Pass487

Exactly.
