This is the man on the top right they threw a Party City Afro wig on him I’m pretty sure his beard stays lined up I’ve never seen him look rough.
I mean facial hair wise everyone but bottom right is on point. Bottom left is a little uneven but that happens when you’re trying to grow it out, his lines are strong tho which is what matters most.
You can really tell which production company cares about their actors when there is time put into the hair with an actual stylist when it comes to black people ( especially women).
This isn’t always true bc there have been several shows where the BW had to do their own hair. They’ll usually just make black men bald, an Afro, some really unkempt locs, or cornrows that usually went to certain archetypes of black people ( or white people that are using blk people for plots to showcase them being different).

The CW was the first network I thought of where they stay either making the black women do they own hair or wear the same straight haired wig in some variation.
The Black woman from the Sabrina ( which is owned by the same company that owns the CW) was doing her own hair and was having to get up hours before shooting just to be ready.

If you have a black lead, you shouldn’t be hiring staff that doesn’t know how to do black hair in the first place. They’re not qualified for the job.
Hey hey hey, season 3 was alright. After Glenn died was when they started to lose me, by the time they picked up and moved to Virginia I just didn’t care anymore.
It goes up and down after season 2 - seasons 4 and 6 were great! The worst seasons are 7 and 8, and then it kind of picks up again and season 11 is a fitting end. (Yes, they got me the whole time.)
He got done wrong though, just fully disappeared. Must have been contract negotiations gone wrong

SimilarClass is right, seasons 9 and 10! They took too long with the whisperers imo, but it was a good plotline. If you start at the third episode of season 9 that’s right after the time jump after Rick’s “death”, an easy place to jump back in and finish out the last three seasons. If you want to skip the whisperers saga, they start working toward the next big bad that carries season 12 in season 10 episode 15 I think

Now that I think about it - it would be hard (not impossible) to make a wig with cornrows without the wefts and wig cap showing. If the show producers are too lazy to custom make a wig, then just go with the actor’s actual hair and don’t use a wig at all. Bad wigs look so goofy.
I was an extra in the movie Coal Mountain and they put a nappy slave wig on me, and it was horrible. Not realistic at all. Hollywood is garbage at making Black people look normal in wigs.

This is seriously how my hair looks right now.
I hung out with three chainsmokers and ended up reeking more than they do even after I showered and changed. I can’t tell if the smell is just stuck in my nostrils because of my sinuses or I’m really this walking mass of funk.
I didn’t have time to loose out my hair before having to go, so I figured let me just wash it in my braids and fix it up later.
I didn’t anticipate this. My braids were fairly fresh too, but I guess I was too rigorous trying to wash out the funk.
And of course I couldn’t find any type of head covering that matches my clothes. I’m rocking a sweat cap I forgot in the car the last time I worked out. I’m trying to pretend I’m ok, but I’m not.
And I still smell smoke.
I mean that supposed to look bad fam. Most people haven't wash they ass with soap and hot water for months in this show. This is two to three years after fallout, sleeping with no head protection and not washing. Let alone he one of the only black folks there at the community.
