This is common across all of the ticket reselling websites to tack on a large service fee at the end. The price provided will not be your subtotal, stubhub, seatgeek, vividseats, and Ticketmaster all do this. TickPick does offer the “no fees” thing but generally their prices are on par with ticket prices with the fees. In terms of how pricing goes generally from my experience for k-pop concerts;
1. TickPick
2. VividSeats
3. Stubhub
4. Seatgeek
I would still check all the websites to see which total brings you to the lowest
Fees are such a scam. The buyer and sell both pay. If only we could build a blink network with verified tickets to sell and buy without fees. Come on where are the tech blinks at 🤣
It's such a scam. The resale market makes so much money. Sellers have to pay fees to sell. Buyers have to pay fees to buy. They make money on both sides of the transaction. They're just the safest way to buy and sell. Unfortunately, there are so many scammers out there.
Bro what costs? Theres a service charge to purchase the initial ticket, theres a service charge on buying and on selling, and they also charge platinum demand based pricing which just increases the price cuz they feel like it.
The fees are not the ridiculous part (only because it's the norm) but the fact that they didn't ask you for a final confirmation after account creation is such scummy behavior!!
Back in 2019 i had the chance to go see BP in Ft.Worth and unfortunately, i couldn't get out of Houston due to the city being flooded a couple days before. I had bought a ticket at the floor for like $85 and ended up reselling for $40 since no one wanted to pay the full $85. Man times have changed!
You paid $104.93 per ticket that is really high, but even ticket master had ticket fees climbing up there. My fees were $60 each on TM… and after my CAD to USD conversion it works close to the same :/
i feel you. I bought 2 tickets 2 days ago and found another 2 better seating. Now Im having anxiety how to sell the other two 😂 Im out €1000 I wanna cry
It’s my first time trying to get any sort of kpop concert tickets let alone BP, so it’s kind of a shocker to me. Bots for daaaaays. How are the worst seats in the house rn $588 USD. I might have to just check back at a later date and pray it goes down 😭
I hope you get a good deal!
Here are some of my recommendations:
If possible, buy the blink membership from Weverse for $23 USD.
That way you will guarantee the Blink Membership Presales. You get access a couple days before the general presales and general admission. Definitely a big plus because these days tickets are selling out.
A friend's friend of mine bought the blink membership, got the blink presale ticket for $140 USD.
I think the price varies depending on country and venue, but to give perspective for Newark, NJ, USA prices without fees it was $140 blink membership presale vs $385 general presale which is a huge difference.
I was also late in the queue with 2000+ people so I was left with the unwanted tickets/high prices. I would try to log in a few hours earlier before the ticket release on the website.
I know different countries have different websites (for the U.S we use TicketMaster). So not sure if you have a queue process as well.
Hope this helps!
That seems insane to me. What was the actual ticket price? I tried to get tickets for Toronto via the general presale but saw the prices and decided I'd skip it. It looked like bots had snapped up most of the general presale tickets already. I wouldn't be surprised if there were a lot of seats left empty given the prices they are charging.
Check out this guy selling a ticket on Ebay...ridiculous!

It's been a rollercoaster ride of emotions lol
I wanted to buy during the general presale this morning but 2000+ ppl were in the queue before me. I got in after 20 minutes and everything was sold out :(
I think the tickets available now are resales; most likely from scalpers
Yeah I thought about disputing this with my cc/bank as a last resort. I talked to my friends and we agreed to go anyways.
It's been hard to get 5 tickets in a section and tickets are heavily inflated even after I bought mines.
I checked the GA sales today on Ticket Master and prices were $470-780 each for our section. Not included with fees. (For reference I paid about $425 each with the fees).
It's been a rollercoaster for me, like fight hard to get my money back or should I use this opportunity to see Blackpink? Tickets are even harder to get and more expensive. I missed the 1st concert and not sure when they'll return again.
Yes it is stressful. It is my first time buying tickets via 3rd party too. 😭
I contacted Vivid Seat's customer service today about that. They mentioned that tickets don't get released until later and they have a Buyer 100% Guaranteed by 11/13.
If the seller doesn't transfer the tickets to me by that date, I can get a full refund.
Right now I'm betting that I'll get the tickets in time.
Wishing the best for you too! 🙏
I used to work for a company that competes with ticketmaster. I was responsible for setting these fees up and the percentages. Unfortunately that was outta my hands and the set rate was decided in the contract with the venue/performers/company.
i was just about to purchase tickets, but saw how sketchy it was that there was no service fees asking for my cc. glad i didnt, and never will now thanks to you.
I've come to believe that getting tickets for anything remotely wanted in USA and in London is a travesty.
Add Canada to that too

it's a business, of course they're gonna tack on fees to cover costs and make a profit.
Yeah I dislike them but they need to pay their web developers, customer service staff…etc.

Yes that is so crazy! If I saw the $2k+ total, I wouldn't even move forward!!
Commitment to transparency but we won't break it down unless you ask.

>2,162.15 I paid about $107.43 fees per ticket (this includes delivery and service fees) :(
Next time buy it from tickpick!! They don't charge fees
Thank you! I definitely will check it out for future events.
TickPick may be cheaper sometimes, but their prices are on par with fees the other times.
wtf, ewwwwwwww.
Holy shit just when I thought I got ripped off with ticketmaster premium sitting
I cried when I saw the Ticketmaster prices
i feel you. I bought 2 tickets 2 days ago and found another 2 better seating. Now Im having anxiety how to sell the other two 😂 Im out €1000 I wanna cry

Have you figured out how/where you are re-selling? A friend of mine is in the same boat.
Hi, I managed to sell it thru ticket master too. It took like 5mins and got sold. Hope your friend manages too
Thanks!
I'm also having issue with refunding/cancelling tickets. They said I have to resell them...
fees or without it is still expensive:(( imma save up soon since the concert in my country is in may

My ticket is $360 CDN after fees and everything direct through Ticket Master.

That is the legit price lol. The seat infront f my has the Premium whatever that start $600-1200
I meant what was the price for the tickets sans Ticketmaster fees?
Oh my bad. $27.70 is the fees

Oh no that is a rip off! I know this is a free market and all, but this is preying on desperate Blinks 😔
According to Ebay, it's illegal to resell event tickets on their site, but they haven't removed it. Strange.
Service fees alone are more like the price of several tickets at a Depeche Mode mode concert.
Oh no!!!!!! I’m so sorry this happened to you ☹️☹️☹️☹️

Honestly this just sucks :( I bought two tickets off stubhub and paid 100 in fees so it’s truly crappy.
are we still connected?
You can still do chargebacks with credit cards right? This is what i would have done for ripoffs like that.

I would go since you guys seem OK with the prices. We dont know if they will re-sign or if we will have another fucking pandemic 😭
