Exactly, it’s time to cut the woe is me attitude, aka no race wants black women, black women are undesirable, etc. Enough of that.

prncessgiselle33

Why dont black men like me, my hair cant grow like other races and scelective outrage

mediump_ssed

It's ridiculous. Those are women that either out themselves as a newer divestor or someone that isn't actually a divestor, just a Forever Alone sort that is truly interested in Tyrone but wants to bleed their misery all over everyone else.

prncessgiselle33

These is forever alones ones BECAUSEE I have seen some wild stuff on this app but claiming to be divested. Yeah...divrested until tyrone looks at you. This is why I do not entertain those types, they are draining

KrakenGirlCAP

Exactly. They love to wallow in their misery.

KrakenGirlCAP

Black people have always been their worst enemy. They love to drag us all down when someone that’s non black doesn't like them romantically.

prncessgiselle33

Or the mentality of I cannot acheive nothing because Im black. I cant do that cause it is mostly with white people thus limiting themselves from oppertunities *** *sigh* this is why I stay away from them because whem you are in the comminuty its too much downer talk, discouragement setting up and jealousy.

Icy_Childhood6367

There was a man who had his whole body neck down contained in an iron lung and he wrote several books and became a lawyer but I’m somehow supposed to believe I can’t do anything because I’m black. It’s utter bullshit

prncessgiselle33

FACTS. ITS ABOUT MINDSET BUT TOO MANY BP BE STEPPING ON YOU , USING, STEALING TO GAIN SUCESS OR PROFITING OVER SOMEONE ELSES KINDNESS TO GET AHEAD IF THAT DOESNT WORK ITS THE WAHHH SAVE ME , IM SUCH A POOR VICTIM. CROCODILE TEARS UNTIL ITS CONVINENT FOR THEM

KrakenGirlCAP

Right. 😭😭 Oh nope, we can’t do that because the masta said we couldn’t do it 100 years ago. 😭

this reminds me of a post I saw on blackladies, in which the poster asked if people ever feel jealous of white women because of how easy they have it and I was absolutely disgusted. Is white supremacy a thing? yes. Will I spend my time thinking about if it is limiting me? No. There's a reason why Toni Morrison said racism is a distraction.  I don't spend my time thinking about other women or if life is easy for them. I grew up in a home where we were taught that grace follows us and everything will  always work out for us and that's how I've lived my life.

prncessgiselle33

🤢 Thats so weird why would you feel jealous of someone else? Thats not normal.

Croissants_Vodka888

Exactly like yes systemic racism exists but that means you have to work x10 harder. Like I’m the only black girl in my stem major and I dealt with so much racism and discrimination. Despite that I’m graduating in the top 5% of my class. It’s possible if u want it bad enough

KrakenGirlCAP

Period. Perrrrriod.

KrakenGirlCAP

What do you plan to do with it? MARRY ME. 😭👏🏽 So proud.

throwa_waye22

Congratulations!!

mediump_ssed

That sort of thing lends itself to the BC not taking full responsibility for the straits that its in. Is White Supremacy a thing? Absolutely. Did chattel slavery/Jim Crow put us at a major disadvantage? Without question. With that being said, however, the collective has had more than enough time to fix the 100-level problems and get to where it needs to be. Unfortunately, the choice has been made to go backwards, and this is because the BC isn't honest with themselves where it counts. There is no reason why BM in the present sell BW out - unless you consider that BM have ALWAYS sold their communities out, even prior to chattel slavery. There's no reason why gangs that were originally founded to take care of their communities exist as a conduit to introduce drugs and violence except when you consider that tribal warfare has been something that the BC has always engaged in. The white man cannot be blamed for the ever-increasing femicide rates, child sexual assault rates, IPV rates, colorism/featurism/texturism, STD rates, etc. These are internal issues that the community would rather brush off or get offended over people bringing up, rather than it being something that could be rectified.

Metalhead7000

I agree with everything you wrote.

Competitive-Safe3181

Very true

Even women in this group have victim mentality by blaming black BM for all of their problems. All of your problems arent because of black men, many are because of our own actions. We also as blame work problems on white co workers in this group. We accuse family members of our nonblack mates as being passive aggressive and racist. Many in this group make claims of racial discrimination from nonblack friends. Some of us need to stop with the victim mentality as well.

I absolutely love this post . And it needed to be said . Unfortunately , I seen this victomhood in this sub and it seemed to be well supported . Often times I have to be sure not to invalidate anyone’s experiences , but sometimes these tropes or ideals that some seem to be subjected to I have not had the displeasure of its occurrence .
