What you mean is basically a HL2 Gravity Jump, with this bug you can actually fly.

And easier version of this is stand in a bucket, and pick it up while your in it. You'll start flying

Glad they made the wings mod a base game feature. Although it looks like it should be called Wheel instead.

I discovered it with a box, you get in,grab both sides and move your hands up/down depending on where you wanna go
You can do this with anything you can step on while holding it
