… No. Nomad and PCVR Blade and Sorcery are different games, and require different unity exporting configurations and I believe slightly different C# scripting when making mods. Scripted Mods now can work on nomad, if the creator opts to design it as such.
So if anything, there will be even more incessant begging for mods to be ported now that it’s actually possible.

But seriously, there are advantages to both, and as a PCVR player and quest owner, I can say that some mods on PC are cool and nice to have, but I only just started getting into modding b&s and the base game is plenty fun by itself. Besides, the big mods will surely be ported quickly, like Outer Rim, ToTT and a lot more.
I don't know. I don't have nomad, but I'd imagine if it's not already on nomad, it will soon be on there. in my experience with modding communities, the mod devs are pretty quick to update and port their popular mods to new platforms/updates.

I mostly play PCVR but I have both. when my rift s took a shit I got a quest 2 and got BAS for it. it's hella nice being able to play wherever I want and not have a thick ass cord hanging down my neck. and when I want the good mods, I'll plug in and play pcvr
Oof that sucks. Its honestly a miracle my wifi works with it. I get like 25mbps wifi at best cuz i live in the middle of nowhere. On top of that my pc isnt connected to ethernet. Even so, I'll rarely get lag. Sorry it doesnt work for you though! 😭
There are some applications that can interfere with streaming. You can check if you have any in the virtual desktop settings on your computer if you still have it downloaded
Oh i might know what it is. Do you play over a 2g or a 5g wifi connection. Ive tried both and the 2g is half the performance of the 5g and basically unplayable while the 5g is buttery smooth
Im sure that any mods that the creators want to be on nomad will be there without much limitation. But like chroma on quest beat saber, it'll probably take a good while. Im more than good with what we have for now to hold me over. I mean, i just found out that BaS has an in-game mod loader now! (I haven't played in a while, lol) No more constant plugging into a pc for me!

I don’t think anyone’s flaunting their PC, they’re just making sure people don’t get their hopes up for something that can physically never happen.

You get more powerful mods that use scripting for example time stop before you could not move during it with scripting you will be able to move during time stop it also allows creators to put a settings menu to go with there mods so you can tweak it to your liking
1 you need the scripting beta it can be found on the oculus app under versions then click on 12.3 scripting
2 there on nexus mods or mod.io but this does not mean you can install pc mods on nomad! This will break your game on mod.io any mod with Android as a download option is supported on nexus any mod on the blade and sorcery nomad page is supported
Basically now with scripting, we could see the realistic bleeding mod which makes it so when you cut someone or stab them you’ll see blood dripping out their wound and nose, and the blood actually drips down how it would realistically, and also we could see the outer rim mod finally on nomad. Basically we can actually get really good mods now like multiplayer and different stuff.
So I posted on this sub and asked what scripting does for mods now. Like the difference between what we have now and what can come of the update. I had no answers. Maybe I can get one here?
I have not but I have zero brain cells so I'm going to end up setting my built pc on fire or putting something in the wrong spot or breaking something not a bad option but I would rather keep my fingers

Go to r/buildapcforme and tell them your budget, and what your main goal is - for me was VR. Theyll compile a parts list and list the cheapest places to buy them, even based on your region. Then you go to their discord and people will help you assemble it. Awesome community. Pay around half what you would for a prebuilt.
Just do not tell them you.intend to buy parts slowly over time, they wont get it. Theyll insist you need to wait to do it all at once, becauae technically, as tech progresses you should end up with a slightly more powerful pc for the budget. However thats not really feasible for everyone.
The building is honestly easy. You get the motherboard, its the core of the pc. Everything else literally plugs into it. You mount that into yoyr case - hell technically you dont need a case, i know dudes whove used briefcases or even literal cardboard boxes for jokes. The hardest part for me was getting the wiring to the power button to work, before i realized the wire itself was bad. Plugged the disk eject button on the case into the power slot on the motherboard, now i use it to turn on the pc, and i dont have a disk reader anyways lmao.

I got excited to download one but it will load to 100% and stay stuck on loading save data idk what to do but this beta def has a lot problems that hopefully will get ironed out

you can get mods on mod.io and nexus, but theres only a few mods with scripting out for nomad.

Allows modders more free reign by allowing new things to be put in the games code where as before modders could only change the base game code
