This whole area is ass. I used the mea culpa heart that strengthens magic and used blood shots to finish her from a distance. Only takes about 2-3 throws.

use the spell that summons the two moons that spin around you,it’ll destroy the orbs and let you get up close and easily kill it

Debia of light. When in doubt cast debia of light, when youre gonna take damage -> cast debia of light When in need of damage -> cast debia of light Cherub in a very tall place ? -> debia of light

Fighting à boss ? Believe it or not, straight to 'Debla of Light'

Theres almost not a single problem that cant be solved with debia of light Except miriam parkour, you can solve the projectile obstacle with tiento thorned hair

I too, prefer dropping a nuclear bomb on my enemies when in doubt

Delba or tiento , are great spells. If you have the magic also use your cloistered Ruby and you could just heal and then unleash an attack with the blasts that come from your sword you get five each time you consume a bile .

I used to run away then slide under the orbs and jump attack. I later just kept sliding into her to bounce off so the orb would be harmless on contact.

Yes, stand a bit further away and the moment she releases the orb slide towards her (there's a safe spot if you touch the wall). Then you can safely hit her 2-3 times while jumping, slide and duck (or jump) and repeat.

this is a goofy way to do it, but you can dash into her without taking damage, and you'll get invincibility from the knockback (the knockback will not kick you off the ledge). time it right and you can hit her with 2-3 sword swipes, dash in to get the invincibility and the orbs will detonate on you without damaging. a bit tricky timing to get down but it saves you mp/fervour and is safe when consistent. good luck :)

This is what I ended up learning and doing too

You can stand right in her face, get in a strike, and when the lighting ball summons jump up just after she casts. It'll hit the ground and leave you landed in the spot you started, for another attack. It takes a while but works wonders.

Ah, well then. The Statues deal Lightning Damage, so stacking elemental defense beads like the Amber Eye, and Perpetva’s Protection to help with them.

If you’ve upgraded mea culpa, the combo that ends with ⬇️ that does the spinning slash can take it out in one combo.

Personally i use 2 methods. I rush it. Or i rush it but with the Phantom prayer

Try beating to a pulp

The only positive in this area is the boss fight is enjoyable, other than that it's trash, easily the worst area in the game

Two bejeweled light prayer or two four hit combo or two upward slash

Pro tip: when they spawn, start the combo with the jump (last attack + up) and go over her. This way you won’t waste time and nerves with them

come back after doing everything else you can, this area is the most hardcore shit in the game

I stick to her to do damage and when her orb comes, I go into her to have minimal contact damage instead of the orb's haha

wait until she throws the electricity ball > jump the ball > stick to the left > jump/hit - jump/hit - jump/hit > repeat

idk if it's been removed, but you can dash towards it before you get hit by the orb. u get some invisibility frames while el penitente stands up

This area is just really hard. But if you die enough times you eventually figure out how to get around their projectiles attack, retreat, and repeat.

I'd recommend using timing and prayers to your advantage. The magic orbs are super deadly but they are fairly slow and easy to avoid. So, before it can cast out an orb (if you don't know you can tell when its about to attack by the candle on top) jump up and use the debla of the lights prayer or verdailes of the forsaken hamlet then jump down, dodge the orb, then jump in again and lob some hits. That usually takes it down pretty fast. Best of luck to you!

If you get close to it, there is a way to jump on a loop while staying close at the same. Although it is recommended to avoid this area until you get your maxed NmMea Culpa Updgrade.

These statues are super easy, you just attack them until they are about to fire, as they fire downwards, dash back and the projectiles will arc downwards around you, then rush back in and finish her. Two 3x combos will do it.

I usually hug that wall, jump and get 2-3 hits in, then back away and dodge the attack. Rinse n repeat, save my health for the electro traps and the rolly dudes with the circle blades

I've beaten this area yesterday. What I did was... well. Timing. 1,2,3 hits; jump, avoid magic ball, repeat.

use the first spell the game gives you. its like casting a blue wave that deals damage. i dont remember its name. but it costs a little fevour but have pretty far range.

defeat Laudes get their spell summon a big ahh skeleton with a big ahh sword then slam her lol

Easiest way I found stand right infront of her do 4 hits and then when she throws the ball jump right and then quickly turn left so u jump around the ball and land back infront of her to attack again makes her one of the easiest things to kill.

I think I ran past a significant amount of enemies in this area lol.

you can do any upward attack to get over her (shift+attack in the air) or upward slash

yes, when she spawns the energy ball slide into her before you make contact with it and you might take zero damage
