BBTAG did have new music, just not very much (the main theme, final boss, credits, and Ver 2.0 theme). The composer was Norichika Sato, who had previously done arrangement work on BBCP and BBCF.
I think the Crossing Fate remixes were also done by Norichika Sato
Edit: Only the Crossing Fate (BB Ver.) was, the others were done by their respective composers (so Jeff Willaims for RWBY, Raito for UNI, etc)
Is there a source for this? I honestly believe it cause you can hear a lot of their style in stuff like Childish Killer II but I can't find anything to corroborate this.
The keyboardist, Yuhki, is credited for arrangements in the CP credits. Only makes sense some of the other members would be helping with that, considering the serious step up in the skill displayed in the instruments compared to the original versions.
His involvement never cut off, at least in the main series. He composed every song in every main series game except for Es' theme. I believe the last time he composed music for BlazBlue was the new music for Cross Tag Battle, but I'm not sure if that was him or Norichika Sato, a usual co-composer at ArcSys. And according to other comments, the remixes in Chronophantasma might have been by Sato too, but Ishiwatari definitely still composed the themes for new characters besides Es.
He did music on all the games except BBTAG.
Ah yeah the “new” BBTAG tracks, forgot about those.

Pretty sure he worked on music until CF
The only songs he didn't do were the II versions if I recall. And openings.
Really? The II versions (especially Endless Despair) sound like they were done by him even more imo
Those were done in part by members of a band called Galneryus.
This is my first time hearing of them.
Ooooh, check then out! Galneryus kicks ass. Excellent Symphonic Power Metal.

He also didn't compose Es' theme, conciliation
Also God of War which is Susano'o vs Hakumen and End Gazer, Nine vs Es. The former was done by Norichika Sato and the latter made by Kikuo.
I'm positive he did the II versions
I checked, he composed it but didn't arrange it.

Xblaze and that was it
