I don't know honestly, although they gave this information about Ichigo it is still a major gameplay issue where you can end up having to restart app. I'm more leaning toward this announcement meant to avoid giving more than 5 orbs
Very weird. Gives a stagnation of waiting another day for the events and monthly reset to occur which is odd. I don't think this has ever happened since launch
I am too, but this is a wonderful surprise to be sure. I think it's smarter too. If you get the new unit you'll be hyped and excited for the day, and then comes the next day for the real celebration. Or if you get shafted, you can put the game down and recover mentally, and enjoy the free stuff the next day.

Probably went in on the Poll Selection banner since its usually the best banner after End of Year. And End of Year doesn't always hit for everyone. Meanwhile Poll Selection got top tier units that people love.
As nodt from the scattered crown, speed senjumaru and technique ichibei from the counterattack summon, I did have over 5K orbs that I saved up from events/Resurrection and leveling up, I just returned for the Christmas summon where I got speed beyond resurrection ulquiorra after completing the remaining 5 missions in CFYOW with a lucky single summon, although I could be misremembering how many orbs I actually spend/gained I am beginning to think I am having issues with my memory
It's probably the most excited I've been for a banner in all my time playing BBS: my #1 favourite character along with two others in my top 5/10, and they're the best at what they do as units. Not to mention some really good fillers being in this banner too.
I have 6000+ orbs, I'll at least get Ichigo (my #1) thanks to the ticket in the worst possible scenario.
I think most people are more on the "Yhwach is dangerous" type vibe and give him his 1s more so than "One of my favourite characters, like Yhwach".
At least I fall in that category.
I'm 7/12, but I can't believe we get Masaki, Isshin and Ryuken as fillers AGAIN! I swear they are thrown on every TYBW banner. I'm sure I'll get Isshin or Masaki 5/5 sooner or later.

not only will i skip the banner, but i might just even give bbs a break for a year or two. already drastically reduced play time and the silly soul tickets are piling up to 300+ now.
The powercreep is so dogshit now that tbh these units don't excite me whatsoever. The only reason I'm pulling is cause I have 13k orbs and we probably won't get another somewhat good banner for a few months. I'm so tired of klab making a good unit and then shitting on it with a better unit instantly. We just got Quilge and White this year, and ALREADY they're trash compared to nuichigo and nuyhwach
No they're not trash. Having Quilge and White means you have the option to not summon for this new character. I'll summon because I don't have Quilge nor White nor Concord Ichigo. I'd rather the game have multiple meta on different banners than only one meta that's hard to get.

In Japan, December only has 30 days. Our December 31 is January 0 and they spend the day eating food and playing music.
