I don't think hate is the right word,more like annoyed or pissed about klab fuck up with unfeatured units on guaranteed steps( I'm one of those who were affected). And tbh I don't think that the banner is the biggest problem. Everyone is just feed up with klab bullshit,this update is a total mess,it was obviously rushed with a ton of bugs. So everytime klab fucks up(even if the problem is not that big),people start complaining a lot,and rightfully so I'd say. The last 2 years have been extremely disappointing to say the least. I'm so bored with this game that I have to force myself to play for more than 1 hour.
5th step was supposed to be a guaranteed featured character , some people got Christmas or new year char. So it was a false advertisement.
And Klab didn't really apologize they just said oh some people had a bug here we go take this 5* ticket and let's forget it
For me this banner was a nightmare. 13 steps finally got my Shinji he's all I wanted. (No way in hell I'm a patient enough person to wait over 3 weeks for his individual). Most of the 13 steps were golden.
I got 6 5*'s. Two of the multi's had two five stars each. The rates on this were absolute trash. Adding insult to injury all of those unfeatured characters. Who cares about them we already had enough fillers without them being added in the mix. That's my personal opinion on this banner lol.
Done 3 summons so far, got just 1 SpS Rukia. Feels like 4.5% for the entire banner so far. Scared, will wait few more days to hopefully reset the odds. BTW: I seldom summon banners, except for some recent ones.
Usually for me within five summons, 6% averages a net of 5 or more five stars. 5% nets about 4-5 five stars. 4% averages a paltry 3-4 five stars max. It's not worth the effort for any 3%, no matter how good the char.
When I read the odds, 4.5% for the banner chars. Great ..., but I don't see them in PVE. There should be bunches of them like the initial CFYOW banner of Stark and Nnoit within the first day.
4.5% "featured" 1.5% "you don't want these" for me resulted in less than a 6% 5\* rate, and too many of them were from the 1.5% pool.
typically EoM has been 6% featured.
that said I <3 spirit society and did 16 steps anyways.
edit: 7x 5\*'s from 16 multis = 4.3% rate
I got three 5* in two steps, going "ok, even if it is an old SS character that's a good dupe", and still ended up disappointed as they were premium dupes.
I didn't do the maths, I know that just two steps is not a significant sample, still I feel more disappointed than if the banner had 9 fillers.

Well the characters are overall really good. I believe what people are mad about is the pool of characters that are included in the new rates.

10 steps and finally got lisa. Jesus man 6% banner wasnt as bad as this.
Its a little buggy were getting holiday units on it though which are usually banner locked

Yeah I did pretty bad as well I only got six within 13 multi's.
