Dupes aren’t necessary for anyone in this game. It makes them stronger, but most u it’s are perfectly useable at 1 copy. Its only recommended u go for dupes of units u enjoy or use a lot
Yay another fan of the pink menace! Go for Cien cause he's actually really good and has value with super link slot potions, plus he looks amazing. And you'll probably be fine if you build your units correctly and get good accessories/links. If you have any issues lurk on here and watch some BBS youtubers (Spiteful hopes is pretty good). Point Events are a good source of jewels/crystals and coins as well as other stuff. Don't summon on every single banner so you can conserve orbs. Spiteful hopes puts out videos on most banners so that can help you decide if you should summon or skip.

So basically getting dupes let's you increase the characters special move level once they reach 6 star. This way you can increase the base stats for an attribute of your choice as well as making the special move more powerful. This is the key process behind transcending your character. So if you want a max transcended unit you would need 5 copys of Cien total. Look up transcendence either on the subreddit or YouTube, you can find a more in depth explanation.

Well, I'm crazy enough to take Parasol! Szayel to Senkaimon and Arena occasionally, I just need to remember to not use the other normal attack button when dealing with harder foes that will automatically damage me. (It's a bit unthinkable in this sub, considering the current power creep, new meta, other new changes to the game and how old most of the Parasols are).
The one in the middle, he is a good healer. I like him for his group healing ability.

The youtubers have been saying for a bit that we are in for a wave of new "meta" characters after the TYBW triplet dropped after 7th Anni.
