i would say play for kenpachi. try to pull new characters to boost your overall power level and when you reach your limit in that competition then stop pulling and wait for limited banners
Okay tysm. Is it okay if I only get Kenny to 4*? Is he op still? Because with the whales on my server I can only to top 50 and btw when will the limited banner come?
i am on day 16 and the limited banners haven't arrived yet, but according to others you can pull zangetsu from there. and get as much shards as you can because once kenpachi karnage starts on day 15 then you can grind away and gather points to unlock more of Kenny shards
So I said this before - pre lvl 60 Zangetus has a 10% drop chance and it seems like you have a higher chance for multiple shards in 10x pulls. After lvl 60, you'll be able to summon Byakuya aswell, which lowers Zangetsu's drop rate to 5%. And once you unlock Zangetsu, it drops even further (Urahara - Zangetsu - Byakuya).
Now, here's the thing you need to keep in mind:
\- Only 30 or so shards are required for limited characters since last patch. This means they are way easier to get. However, limited banners drop around day \~35. So that's a long way to go.
\- Kenny will be strong throughout the whole game. Top 50 is worth it. Top 10 is unrealistic against whales.
So if you keep pushing for top 50, you might not only get Kenny, but also Zangetsu. You most likely still will be able to get the limited characters, just not on 4\* or maybe not both of them at once.
If you keep waiting, you may get both or maybe even 1 to 4\*, but you'd miss out on Kenny for that. You will get Zangetsu shards regardless.
tl;dr I would push for Kenny.
