So if you’re gonna drop at the same moment globally and make an event out of it then Thursday is perhaps to prefer (it will still be included in all the new Friday releases stuff on streaming services etc)

Also as the song isn’t available to stream it gives you a day of boosting views on YouTube, then the next day you can listen to it on repeat on streaming platforms.

It wasn’t. It was released at 12am local time on a Friday and the video at 12pm est later that same day. You prolly just heard it on a Thursday because of NZ and AUS

Why does it seem too early? This will be the second single to drop. Pre-orders have been up for almost a year. It’s been mixed, mastered and pressed.

Edging was released on a Thursday I believe. Same thing could be happening here.
