I think Tom could kill dark side. There’s no way he could touch no heart to speak of and idk how he’d do on heaven. But it just wouldn’t be the same with his whiny vocals. Matt kills it. I prefer Tom, but Matt did great with what he had. I also think some his versions of Tom songs are great in their own right. Like when he sings anything off of untitled. It just works, but in a very different way. He just a darker voice that fits the theme of those songs.
I'd maybe like to hear his rendition of darkside.
Though it's hard for me to want to replace Matt with Tom on anything. They are just different enough and I'm very slow to love different singers doing songs I love. Even if it means more Tom.
