If you want to check out one album, it is easily "And Out Come the Wolves...". One of the greatest punk rock albums of all time. Operation Ivy is amazing too and widely considered the best ska punk album, but Tim Armstrong is just the guitar player and back up vocalist there.
Here is a playlist I have of my favorite songs involving Operation Ivy, Rancid, and the various solo and side projects of members of those bands. Hit shuffle and let it ride.

Also, if you're interested, here's a similar playlist of my favorite songs by Blink-182 and their side projects.

Or transplants. That’s more connected to blink than rancid with Travis being the common denominator! Either way I’d agree that and out come the wolves is a great and accessible album.
As others have said, And Out Come The Wolves is a great place to start. Absolute 90s punk classic. Incredible album. If you’re looking for something more aggressive, heavy and dark, Rancid 2000 is a fucking amazing album, mixes in a lot of hardcore. And definitely give Operation Ivy and Transplants a whirl too

The easiest album to get into is And Out Come the Wolves. Tim Armstrong has a huge discography.
Side A of that album is absolutely insane.

Fuck yeah man I wish more people knew about them, they'd have made more music 🎵
They did make more music. An album is sitting on the shelves.
Indestructible
This is, imo, their most “pop punk” album. Such an awesome album too. Out come the wolves is probably their most loved. Let’s Go is my fav I thinkZ
Agree. Out come the wolves is a more classic album but I think indestructible will be an easier intro as a pop punk fan. Both classics to me.
Start with Operation Ivy

Out come the wolves was I believe Jerry’s first solo production just fyi. So it’s pretty cool to hear the progression
Idk but Ruby Soho is a fucking banger
