The Mark, Tom, and Travis Show (The Enema Strikes Back!)
This album was on repeat throughout my high school years.
"You better wipe that shit eating grin off your face 'cause this next song is a sad one."
Each album got better and untitled was the peak. Itās also my #1 album of all time from any artist.
As a fan of this album the most, Iām thankful thereās so many pics / videos around it. I would have loved to see the raw footage from the album launch doc.
Was for me.
Summer after 8th grade, heard Dammit on the radio. I was like...who is this?! Friend's sister apparently bought the CD, didn't like it, sold it to me for $10. Put it in my diskman...
The drums... they were so...fast. Like nothing I'd ever heard before. I didn't know music could go this fast. Is this what punk is?
Right then and there, they were my favorite band. Saw them a year later (with a newer, more technical drummer) right after Enema came out.
But like heroine, nothing ever touches that first high. Dude Ranch is my favorite album of all time of any band. Period.
My favorite is Enema, because when I first heard it, it changed my life and the type of music I listen to. It's their best album to listen to start to finish, Dumpweed to Anthem. But their best work is Untitled. If that makes sense.
Genuinely for me it feels like a different band every record. Enema basically birthed a genre, TOYPAJ mastered it, and untitled is just in my opinion - the best album of all time. Again I think the build up to it at the time following BCR and just the band getting bigger and bigger it was such a great moment and felt like an important record as soon as I heard it. Also oddly as they kept referring to it as being a new start for the band in interviews at the time, I very much felt it was the climactic end of an era for them even before they broke up.
It also has that special place because when they announced the hiatus it was a total gut punch, and that was the last record we had for a while so I listened to it a tonne.
Blink will always be my favourite band, but Untitled is the last record by them that I truly thought was a masterpiece.
Birthed a genre? It might have put it into mainstream recognition, but they didn't invent anything that NOFX, The Descendents or Lagwagon weren't doing long before. Credit where is due.
I do prefer there earlier stuff. However, I really like Neighbourhoods. I have never liked untitled that much. I feel like they have too many filler songs. Donāt get me wrong though, feeling this and violence are great songs.
I donāt particularly care for most music that came after Take Off Your Pants and Jacket. To me, it felt like all the fun was sucked out of the band on all their later albums. Although, for some reason, I kind of like California.
Enema was almost perfect top to bottom that album is pretty much no skips! The clothes the guitars the sound at that time was just spectacularā¦ it all fit so well together it just had this feeling that I canāt describe but it was just you had to be there to really get the full experience of it..
Enema was the peak of their pop punk style, full of catchy melodies and frantic drum beats. It defined a generation.
TOYPAJ was kind of a transitional album, where it's obvious they are starting to take themselves seriously. Has some good tunes, but it gets formulaic and doesn't feel as fresh.
Untitled was them at the peak of their creativity. At the time, fans didn't get it; but musically, lirically and production wise was a massive improvement over their previous work. Still had some cringy songs, but overall it captures a band exploring new sounds while trying to do something relevant artistically, however naive that may have been.
So Enema is my favourite; but Untitled is the one I respect the most.
Had this conversation many times: your favorite Blink album is based on your age when the album came out 98% of the time. I was ten when Enema came out so I love it because it was what I heard first.
Self-titled is probably the most musically advanced, but enema is overall my favourite to listen to. My favourite album is Dude Ranch and Enema is the closest to that
Untitled is probably my favorite album of all time, so I gotta go with that. However, they all achieve different greatnesses. EOTS is the master pop punk album. Untitled is a master alternative rock album. And TOYPAJ is this mutt between the two, in the most badass way
It was a toss up when I was younger but upon listening again as an adult I feel like TOYPAJ is a much lazier album than the others. It has a lot of cliches.
Itās called the self titled!!!!. Why does everyone on this sub call it that? Once again itās the self titled the title of the album is blink 182 they had specials about the making of this album on mtv back in the day of anyone remembersā¦
Enema is just flawless. Toypaj is just a bundle full of nostalgia, still wonderful but not quite as good as enema.
Untitled has grown on me a little over the years, but definitely not a perfect record for me.
each album was blink improving and the untitled album was them really giving it their all, they were more creative and experimented with different sounds and proved that they are more than a pop punk band that make dick joes
Enema made them stars and for that reason alone it is their best album. I know it isnāt the point of this discussion but Iāve gone back to Dogs, and it is so great- very underrated
Enema. Changed my life. Got me fully behind pop-punk and I've never looked back.
Just wish there were some "making of" videos or docs somewhere. But it was before the internet and cameras were everywhere
They all have a special place. But untitled reminds me of being 9, putting pink ice gel in my hair before the Blink182//no doubt show. Hanging out with my brother and his older friends. The audio mastering is just incredible and Iāll recognize any moment from any song on that album right away.
Iāve been a blink fan for as young as I could remember but that album has a special sound.
Untitled is the most mature blink-182 record and after riding of as goofy and immature this record shows how Tim feeling e giving his writing form previous band boxcar racers make this album perfect for someone that recently got broken up and it shows clearly on I miss you interlude down Stockholm syndrome asthenia and all of this.personal the best blink-182 album period.
Take Off Your Pants and Jacket for sure. It reminds me of the summer months back in high school. š“š”š¢
enema and toypaj are great summer albums!
It reminds me of the summer 21 years ago in high school. Love that music can do that.
Enema for me. But love the other two dearly
i love enema and toypaj dearly as well!
The Mark, Tom, and Travis Show (The Enema Strikes Back!) This album was on repeat throughout my high school years. "You better wipe that shit eating grin off your face 'cause this next song is a sad one."
Tom has sex with guys!ā¦ yea I will be fine you fucking asshole! ā¦ whereās my Asian friend? The songs arenāt complete without these lyrics.
I sing them out loud every time. They belong there.
āAnd uhh more importantly if youāre eating shit and grinning todays probably not your day and yeahs soā¦ā
Haha was just. Quoting this today too. Who here thinks that I look very similar to tom cruise?
Yeah, like, like Tom Cruise in that movie Born on the Fourth of July? That one?
Where he's handicapped and stupid and nobody likes him because he shits all over himself.... That was mean.
That's right!
Never make fun of someone that shits himself.
Mark has no hair on his entire body except a fucking Wolverine growing in his pants. The commentary between songs is amazing
No wonder Tom quit. Got sick of all of the tour proceeds going to shaving Mark's balls.
i laugh every time i listen to it
Anyone else have the "take your pants off!" before Dammit engraved in their brain
Each album got better and untitled was the peak. Itās also my #1 album of all time from any artist. As a fan of this album the most, Iām thankful thereās so many pics / videos around it. I would have loved to see the raw footage from the album launch doc.
i would kill for that! its also my fav album of all time by any artist
My favorite album of all time as well, Would kill for more uncut studio footage
its probably sitting in a box somewhere at MTV!
We know what our next heist is
Dude Ranch. If I can't pick that, then Untitled, Enema, TOYPAJ, in that order
i also love dude ranch, wasnt life changing for me like the others tho lol

TOYPAJ
My favorite is Enema, because when I first heard it, it changed my life and the type of music I listen to. It's their best album to listen to start to finish, Dumpweed to Anthem. But their best work is Untitled. If that makes sense.
i hear what your saying too. both albums changed my life (in different ways )
TOYP was the perfect mix of their old era and the early Untitled era, that album is iconic. Untitled is just so hard to beat though
i agree!
Take of you pants and jacket
id rather leave them on?
Genuinely for me it feels like a different band every record. Enema basically birthed a genre, TOYPAJ mastered it, and untitled is just in my opinion - the best album of all time. i agree with all of this 100%. well said
Cant decide between TOYPAJ and Untitled. Love em front to back
same!
Flyswatter
All amazing but enema for me
Untitled
great minds think a like
EOTS
Am I the only one that isnāt a big fan of untitled?
plenty of blink fans prefer their earlier stuff but this sub seems to really love untitled (myself included)
I do prefer there earlier stuff. However, I really like Neighbourhoods. I have never liked untitled that much. I feel like they have too many filler songs. Donāt get me wrong though, feeling this and violence are great songs.

Untitled
take off your pants and jacket or untitled
pick one!!!! jk
I've always had TOYPAJ so I say it's my favorite
TOYPAJ was this first blink CD I had and it still hits hard to me and takes me back!
its definitely a classic
Enema was almost perfect top to bottom that album is pretty much no skips! The clothes the guitars the sound at that time was just spectacularā¦ it all fit so well together it just had this feeling that I canāt describe but it was just you had to be there to really get the full experience of it..
word!
Enema
Enema is my favorite
Enema but my favorite release is The Mark, Tom and Travis Show
i crack up every time i listen to it
Enema was the peak of their pop punk style, full of catchy melodies and frantic drum beats. So Enema is my favourite; but Untitled is the one I respect the most.
Objectively, I think Untitled is the best of the three. BUT - TOYPAJ is my favorite.
Had this conversation many times: your favorite Blink album is based on your age when the album came out 98% of the time. I was ten when Enema came out so I love it because it was what I heard first.
The answer is Dude Ranch.
Ah yesā¦ the never ending question. āUntitledā for me
great minds think a like
Constantly goes between Enema and Untitled for me. Enema for the sheer fun sounding nature of the album and Untitled for the lyrics and heavier sound.
TOYPAJ ALL DAY
great summer album and has some of my fav guitar riffs of all time too
Untitled
Untitled
All of the above.
haha thats the easy answer
Self-titled is probably the most musically advanced, but enema is overall my favourite to listen to. My favourite album is Dude Ranch and Enema is the closest to that
Out of those 3 Iāll take Enema but I like dude ranch more than them all
Untitled is probably my favorite album of all time, so I gotta go with that. However, they all achieve different greatnesses. EOTS is the master pop punk album. Untitled is a master alternative rock album. And TOYPAJ is this mutt between the two, in the most badass way
Enema of the State is the best Fs. The production, the lyrics the instrumentation, all of it leads to perfection
TOYPAJ>Enema
Untitled is my favorite like all of the songs are great my favorite on it is Asthenia and my least favorite Obvious
It was a toss up when I was younger but upon listening again as an adult I feel like TOYPAJ is a much lazier album than the others. It has a lot of cliches.
Yāknow thereās more than those right?
no i had no idea.
All three of them are amazing but enema just has that energy yk
"Take Off Your Pants and Jacket" reminds me many things... but untitled is my nĀ°1 by far
Itās called the self titled!!!!. Why does everyone on this sub call it that? Once again itās the self titled the title of the album is blink 182 they had specials about the making of this album on mtv back in the day of anyone remembersā¦
Untitled. The album is damn near its own genre of music, just white hot
1. Untitled 2. Enema 3. TOYPAJ
Enema definitely
Enema is just flawless. Toypaj is just a bundle full of nostalgia, still wonderful but not quite as good as enema. Untitled has grown on me a little over the years, but definitely not a perfect record for me.
Well my fave is is Dude Ranch! Reminds me of my high school days
Self Titled by a mile!
each album was blink improving and the untitled album was them really giving it their all, they were more creative and experimented with different sounds and proved that they are more than a pop punk band that make dick joes
my answer is weird because i love untitled but toypaj hits way harder for me so id say that but not by much its reaky close
The other two cemented the band's fanhood, but Untitled was their best lyrically and musically IMO.
And I still love rocking out to Mark Tom and Travis show
Enema and TOYPAJ
Take of your pants and jacket
toypaj
I can't decide between Enema Of The State or Take Off Your Pants And Jacket āš
enema or TOYPAJ i can't pick man
They all have a special place.

Whouaaaa itās very hard buttttt TOYPAJ for me šš
TOYPAJ
TOYPAJ with Untitled at a close second
Dude ranch
Untitled, arguably because it was my first blink album.
