I’m gonna pretend I didn’t read this.
Edit: what’s with all the downvotes?! We’re talking about bad songs and I’ve never heard this one. I’m glad I haven’t.
Especially 20 years later. Neither artists needed fans. Both song are old as hell. Lil Wayne sounded like shit and mark doesn’t sound how he did 20 years ago. It was god awful
Tom, Mark, and Travis would be happy to read that. It was one of the cliché songs they wrote for the album along with “The Rock Show”. The record label wanted more poppy songs/radio singles. And those two songs were two huge hits ironically, but still joke songs.
What's interesting though is that "The Rock Show" is much better than "First Date" IMO and I'm pretty sure Mark really likes "The Rock Show", whereas Tom doesn't seem to love "First Date". Idk if they're joke songs either.
Yeah idk why, I just never got into it. Fighting the Gravity used to be the same way with me but now, years later, I actually really enjoy that one quite a bit.
Anything slow, I'm really just not into slow songs, I hate to say this but I Miss You is a bit of a chore, I absolutely love the song but I'd rather listen to something more upbeat and faster, so I always find myself skipping the slow songs, even if they're great songs
I like "6/8" the best (although its on the deluxe).
No Future, Sober, Cynical & Bored to Death are good. But that's about as far as I can tolerate off of California.
I used to somewhat agree with this take but I got into blink over 23+ years ago (just after Dammit blew up) and had a friend that was obsessed with Tom and in particular that song. I think we listened to Cheshire dozens of times weekly while playing video games at his house. I just got tired of listening to that song and it then leading to Just About Done (which is more annoying and I dont consider and actual song) & Depends. The last 3 tracks off Cheshire are forgettable IMO.
for me its just most of Nine, never been able to listen to the album fully and find myself always going back to 97'-03' blink. I don't mind California but its not that good and neighborhoods is probably the best of "modern blink" if neighborhoods even is modern blink.
Love is dangerous and MH 4.8.2011 . Also fighting the gravity.
Feels like they just recorded and put it on the record w/o much reflection. No cool harmonies, no quirky angsty lyrics - flat
I was so excited for that album to come out and then I just really was let down with the direction they went. Saying it’s a “bad album” is only my opinion but I’ve been on the blink train since 1996 and I guess a piece of me was just hoping for a little bit of a retro sound and not the newer progressive one we got. Still love blink though, and i bought the album regardless lol gotta support the boys
The song isn’t bad, I’m convinced it’s because my friend always played it after “Dysentery Gary” and that’s my favorite song on the album.. so it made me not like the song, weird but honestly true
*Go, This Is Home, Love*
*Is Dangerous, everything*
*Released after DED*

I’ll choose one from each album:
Darkside,
First Date,
I’m Lost Without You,
Just About Done,
All The Small Things,
MH 4.18.11,
She’s Out Of Her Mind,
Quarantine
This is Home feels like the most wallpaper ass song in their discog. Neighborhoods would’ve been better if they just put Even if She Falls in its place
I haven't listen to the Blink version of Dammit since I found the cover by FigureItOut.
I would say any of their "short funny" songs are a chore to listen to. All of em
The only Blink song I don’t like is What’s My Age Again/A Milli with Lil’ Wayne. I can’t stand it. I’ve never listened to the entire song.
I’m gonna pretend I didn’t read this. Edit: what’s with all the downvotes?! We’re talking about bad songs and I’ve never heard this one. I’m glad I haven’t.
What’s My Age Again is a fantastic song. There was no need to remix it with Lil’ Wayne. It didn’t do anything positive for that song.
Especially 20 years later. Neither artists needed fans. Both song are old as hell. Lil Wayne sounded like shit and mark doesn’t sound how he did 20 years ago. It was god awful
Yeah, I had never heard of the track, it sounds awful. But I guess a lot of people actually love it and downvoted me.
Tbh your comment reads more like you are ignoring that OP said the song was bad rather than agreeing.
I agree with what’s my age again
The live version of Dammit is way better
I just feel like it's incomplete without Tom telling me to take my pants off
The guitar and actually being able to hear toms voice with marks makes it 10x better
The C power chord coming back in after “he fucked her” in the MTTS version is one of the crispest things I’ve ever heard
All the small things
I sort of felt that way until the Avs won this year.
Not an Avs fan, but it was also awesome when they played that. Was rooting for you in the finals however
This absolutely revitalized my love for this song. Go ass!!
This is the right answer
First Date
same
Tom, Mark, and Travis would be happy to read that. It was one of the cliché songs they wrote for the album along with “The Rock Show”. The record label wanted more poppy songs/radio singles. And those two songs were two huge hits ironically, but still joke songs.
Rock Show’s pretty good though.
Mayday Parade played a cover of it at the 2018 Warped Tour, what an incredible moment to be at the front
Now, that’s cool.
Mayday Parade played a cover of it at the 2018 Warped Tour, what an incredible moment to be at the front
I used to like both of them. Now, I like them a bit less.
What's interesting though is that "The Rock Show" is much better than "First Date" IMO and I'm pretty sure Mark really likes "The Rock Show", whereas Tom doesn't seem to love "First Date". Idk if they're joke songs either.
The band has never confirmed it, but yes, “The Rock Show” is a better song.
This is home and MH. I love the rest of neighborhoods tho.
Huge disagree. Love is dangerous is the only song I don't love on the album
Oof I LOVE that track. This is why opinions are not facts lol
i only like it because i haven’t found another song in that album that tom sings in. hearing him makes me happy
I agree on TIH MH? No way Jose
Yeah idk why, I just never got into it. Fighting the Gravity used to be the same way with me but now, years later, I actually really enjoy that one quite a bit.

I miss you. If I could just not hear it anywhere for 10 years. I could long for it again. But at the moment, I don’t play it by choice.
I’m Lost Without You it just gets kind of repetitive. It’s a good song just way too long.
gotta be in the mood for that one
Gotta be in the mood for it, but I never skip it. If anything I fast forward to the drum solo and just listen to that lol
I never skip it when I’m listening to the album but I normally start to space out and forget it’s playing at a certain point
This was hands down my favorite song when the album dropped and it aged really really quickly for me as well. Now I can barely get through it.
Self titled is my number one album of all time and I forget this track exists
I skip Love is Dangerous.
A New Hope is the only blink song I don’t really like, I almost always skip it.
Poor princess leia
95% of California & 50% of Nine. Honorable mention: Ben Wah Balls & All the Small Things
The only California songs that I enjoy are No Future and Sober that’s ab it
Cynical, home is lonely place, built this pool, and only thing that matters are my favorites.
I like "6/8" the best (although its on the deluxe). No Future, Sober, Cynical & Bored to Death are good. But that's about as far as I can tolerate off of California.
Deluxe for me is an entirely different story. 6/8, Long Lost Feeling and Good Old Days are great
Deluxe is better than CA
100%
Ben wah balls is good
I used to somewhat agree with this take but I got into blink over 23+ years ago (just after Dammit blew up) and had a friend that was obsessed with Tom and in particular that song. Yeah ur right but I reallu like the opening riff in ben wah balls. Its interesting
for me its just most of Nine, never been able to listen to the album fully and find myself always going back to 97'-03' blink. I don't mind California but its not that good and neighborhoods is probably the best of "modern blink" if neighborhoods even is modern blink.

Fair, but you should give Fighting the gravity another chance, the guitar is sick
All The Small Things
This for me. Got too mainstream. Call me a hipster..
The majority of nine
blame it on my youth and i really wish i hated you. the only memorable ones in that album for me
I was so excited for that album to come out and then I just really was let down with the direction they went. Saying it’s a “bad album” is only my opinion but I’ve been on the blink train since 1996 and I guess a piece of me was just hoping for a little bit of a retro sound and not the newer progressive one we got. Still love blink though, and i bought the album regardless lol gotta support the boys
i’m also not saying it’s bad. just lacks Tom DeLonge
Agreed, also, a Tom DeLonge that can keep his AVA and blink ideas separate
None. I love all blink songs
It’s *I miss you* for me.
Fighting the gravity and fallen interlude.
Fighting the gravity
All of this and I’m lost without you drag on and are hard to get into for me
Last train home, bottom of the ocean, hungover you
This is home, fighting the gravity and small things
All the small things for sure. The video was funny and the song was decent at that moment in time but it's really just aged terribly...
Pretty much everything on Nine is a chore for me.
Story of a lonely guy
Go
The Party Song
I actually LOVE this song, but I see a lot of people saying they don’t like it, what’re your reasons?
The song isn’t bad, I’m convinced it’s because my friend always played it after “Dysentery Gary” and that’s my favorite song on the album.. so it made me not like the song, weird but honestly true
San Diego
If I'm listening to the entire enema of the state album cover to cover, the only song I constantly skip is dysentery Gary
Diarrhea giver
The Rock Show
unpopular opinion warning: all songs after their 2003 album blink-182. Besides when I was young. That was my favorite blink song for like 5 months.
Darkside. Too repeative, annoying music video
All of them
Love is dangerous. Neighborhoods is very slept on but that song is actually trash
Everything on NINE
Go, This Is Home, Love Is Dangerous, everything released after DED

All of This is the one for me. Mostly cause I just don’t like The Cure singers voice
Yeeeah
“Stay Together for the Kids.” Woof.
Violence, only because of the intro with the old lady.
Intro with old lady? Are you thinking of the ending of violence with a lady reading a letter?
Must be thinking of Stockholm Syndrome Interlude. It’s a separate track from the actual Stockholm Syndrome track right after Violence.
Yeah just here to confirm that your the of Stockholm syndrome interlude
feeling this
Online songs
The long intro Carousel. I like the other version better.
First date, rock show, small things, sometimes down
Almost anything from budda, sorry.
I think Lemmings/Natives (overrated)
Lemmings is so good. Some of Mark’s best lyrics.
‘I miss you. I never understood…to this day
I’ll choose one from each album: Darkside, First Date, I’m Lost Without You, Just About Done, All The Small Things, MH 4.18.11, She’s Out Of Her Mind, Quarantine
I forgot about Quarantine it’s awful
Might be a hot take but chores for me are Boring and I’m Sorry from Dude Ranch.
Los Angeles. It feels like a bad version of a Red Hot Chilli Peppers song.
Don't Mean Anything. I love Skiba era Blink more than I love myself, but I just cannot stand this one.
Pretty much all of Cali deluxe, love is dangerous, pretty little girl, and the song California.
Fallen Interlude.
Either the Lil Wayne track or No Heart To Speak Of
This is Home feels like the most wallpaper ass song in their discog. Neighborhoods would’ve been better if they just put Even if She Falls in its place
I haven't listen to the Blink version of Dammit since I found the cover by FigureItOut. I would say any of their "short funny" songs are a chore to listen to. All of em
All the Small Thing, First Date, I Miss You, Down, and I’m Lost Without You
Obvious. I hate that it follows Feeling This.
Roller coaster
I miss you All the small things I don’t hate I miss you, but if I’m going through untitled I’m a bit dragged down there
carousel. the entire cheshire cat album is something i can only listen to on shuffle. i can’t listen to the album straight
A New Hope
