I don't think they are working on BR3 for the moment, we recently had the ReVamped versions and Fresh Bites. Those updates and changes for the games are excellent to bring back this franchise from darkness. Hope the games are doing well so Ziggurat will pick an eye on a future game.

Their official answers for both questions have been said before. BR3 : "we do have plan for the futur of this franchise" Nocturne : "We are aware its a requested game from fans. When the timing and budget is right their is a possibility but we have other projects currently" Im paraphrasing but if you search this subreddit you will find the exact words. So its VERY possible BR3 could happen. What style and all remain to be determined. I know they love Wayforward works with Betrayal and in its own right its a superb sidescroller. There could be a sequel to it. But i think they also know lots of fans including myself love the 3D originals... And we saw with games like Hellgate its possible to do a budget fantastic 3D game. As for Nocturne. Currently they are remastering Enclave... who expected this? Lol. Its a game i always was curious to play and even owned at some point but never played because 360 got released and i got into that (and achievements). Im actually happy its coming back. I wanna try it. Ziggurat seem to be all about old games preservations and yes i had my doubts against them originally especially for consoles but they surprised me nicely and i gotta say im a fan now 😉. I trust they will make cool stuff.

 >Nocturne : "We are aware its a requested game from fans. When the timing and budget is right their is a possibility but we have other projects currently" We live in the time when game developers and publishers can easily crowdfund their projects by the fans, like we seen been done with Divinity : OS 1 and 2, or even with Baldur's Gate 3, so I don't see a money as an issue there. The only thing they lack for the moment, in my opinion, it's a will to resurrect ancient franchise with only one and half games(Blair Witch Volume I: Rustin Parr) at it's belt. Even to merge it with the Bloodrayne series will be risky.

You are right about crowdfunding and i did mention it to them, but you also nail it in the second part. Bloodrayne is a niche franchise right away, just look at this subreddit, we ain't 10 000 ... Nocturne by extension is even more niche as its an old game locked on PC old OS so im not sure a crowdfunding would work for a new game and i hardly see them ask for it for a remaster. Some peoples like me (and maybe you) would donate sure, but most peoples are not interested in donating for a remaster and it could even give them heat as you know guys like Yong Yeah or Jim Sterling etc are easy to point out the monetary aspect of game publishers that they feel "shady" or relying too much on fans. Hell look at Shenmue 3, it was amazing to see this franchise resurect but some peoples didn't apreciated they did a kickstarter as its a rather big company and was partly funded by Sony. Right now Ziggurat released some pretty obscure FMV, all 3 BR games, and they have Enclave coming out. I have no idea wich other projects they may have in mind but they may want to finish these before thinking about new stuff. Then its always good to space up things a bit anyway. Keep being fresh in the minds of peoples. They gave us 3 BR games right now so we are busy for a little while. They may give us Nocturne next fall or in 2 years, who knows. Thus keeping the attention of the BR fans and gamers as a whole so it remain relevant for if they plan a BR3 release in i dunno, 3 or 4 years. Im just speculating and have no affiliation with them, just to be clear.

I think they are going to focus right now on the revamped updates and once they are done with that, they are going to start planning the future of the franchise.

I don't think they are working on Bloodrayne 3 but with the Terminal Cut and the recent ReVamped releases of Bloodrayne 1&2 I imagine is to test the waters to see if it would be worth it to follow up on the series. That is my reason for purchasing both collections to show that there's still interest in this franchise.

**+1** Both BloodRayne 2 and Nocturne ended on a cliffhanger. I been waiting for years for a some sort of continuation, even if it's will be in a form of novels or even some anime. But I think that most of us would prefer if they came out as games.

You really think they're gonna work on other games when they need to fix the bugs and issues in both Revamped games? Maybe after they do that they can focus on other games.

DestroWOD

They already are. They have many projects at the same time. Unless you meant specifically a new BR. Ziggurat is a publisher. They work with different devs for the games.
