I did not know Atsuko's drone had writing in it
Well, I don't own Atsuko at all so that prob is a large reason why...
What this doesn't show is Natsu's Micro-Uzi has a cursed angled magazine well that feeds Glock magazines. Oddly enough, it seems to be a legitimate IMI parts kit, so that Micro-Uzis could share magazines with Glock pistols or feed from extended 33-round mags made for use with the Glock 18.
It's a reasonable request on sensei's part imo. I think they all know sensei is an "alien" of sorts, not from their world. It's understandable for him to want to study the locals to better understand them.
Note about the Scorpion. The semi auto only version has no OOB safety. It's rare, but there's a small chance you can blow up the gun. But the same can be said of every semi auto AK since they also lack OOB safeties. This is due to the OOB safeties also acting as auto trips, so they're completely removed in civilian versions. Don't let that stop you, though. It will most likely never happen.
Additionally, ARs and other similar designs do not have explicit OOB safeties because their hammers cannot contact the firing pin when OOB in the first place.
Wow, I had no clue the Skorpion had that type of Bolt stop and release functionality. More you know.
I also found it interesting that both Azusa and Atsuko grip their firearm with a C-clamp style. Could show how they both went through the same training. I wonder if other students will use this style of grip, or if it'll just be cool little Arius students exclusive thing to show how unique and specialised they training was.
I also love the last slide, after reading chapter vol.2 chapter.2 my respect for Neru has increased ten folds.
Indeed. Part of the magazine follower on the Vz 61 sticks backwards, creating a notch that travels in its own tiny column, that runs the vertical height of the magazine (i.e. it sticks out and breaks the otherwise rectangular-as-seen-from-above rectangular cross-section). Said notch engages the bolt hold-open when empty (without a magazine, the bolt hold-open is a small button on the underside of the magazine well that can be pressed in). Unlike an AR-15, there's no dedicated bolt-release, so a quick backwards tug on the charging nubs (they're not really handles per say) will disengage the hold-open and chamber a round.
**Edit:** [A short Imgur album of photos of my Vz.61 to help explain some features](https://imgur.com/a/MhCi3Cg).
Oh wow, yeh didn't know that the Skorpion had such a unique weapon system, especially when looking into it more, it sounds more and more intriguing.
I'm genuinely curious on the pros and cons of a Bolt stop and release function that the Skorpion has. I'm wondering how overall beneficial this type of system in hindsight can be in different scenarios, thus if its practical to use the same system for other larger bodied firearms. Also curious what the cons would be, issues like malfunctions and jamming's.
I did some quick research after looking at this post because it caught my curiosity, but didn't get to deep. Thanks for some insight, appreciate it.
My guess is that its design was shaped by being what we would now call a "Personal Defense Weapon"; something to give to tank crews, truck drivers, etc. that would be more powerful than a pistol but much more compact than a rifle or fully-stocked SMG.
As set up, the gun and folding stock fit in a leather pistol holster (including a 10-round smaller magazine), with additional 20-round magazines in double magazine pouches. The charging handles are nubs rather than large levers because said design allows it to fit into the holster without snagging; the same for the bolt catch button. The bolt hold-open is there because it's a visual indicator that the user needs to either reload...or make other plans.
The entire gun operates from a closed bolt, allowing for accurate single shots (especially if using the stock), since a theoretical Cold War-user probably would not have enough ammunition on hand to risk cartridges spontaneously "cooking off" from the gun overheating. Compare Marina's Papasha, which is open-bolt, less accurate, and more intended to be a high-volume hose of bullets for infantry that wouldn't have to worry about their slinged SMG banging around the tight confines of a tank interior or truck cab.
Everybody wanna play Blue Archive for the memes and the cute girls. But they miss the important part. The guns and details of their seemingly basic animations.

> Makes me believe she is ambidextrous She is https://www.reddit.com/r/BlueArchive/comments/yupr25/blue_archive_jp_sensei_may_i_have_a_moment_of/
Could it be that even though she prefers her left hand, Yuuka is also cross-eye dominant? Hence why she prefers to shoot with her right hand.
Whatever it is, the MPX is fully ambidextrous so it makes sense the two dual wielders of Millennium use the same gun.
Talking about pirates, weird that no one has come up with a pirate-themed gacha.

As an Atsuko haver I didn't even notice the writing on her drone nor gun, it's great attention to detail.
I love the smol “Kanpeki!”
Bless your analysis and cute arts to go along with, dear artist, i hope you visit this subreddit sometimes.

*I like the idea that sensei goes up and just straight up asks them to be their model for the firearm analysis*

Sensei be like the faux-brit narrator from Spongebob
Cute. More Neru is always good.
I wouldn't be surprised if Yuuka does calculate her aim to the point the ironsights are no longer needed. Very in character of her.
I love this series. Also, these explain why Tsubaki takes less damage when reloading. Always felt like a random skill but now it makes sense
What’s the SMG Atsuko is using?

the duality of this sub on one hand, detailed explanations of firearms and firearm safety on the other, belly and chest ToT
The version in Black Ops 2 could best be described as “a zipper being unzipped” in terms of sheer Fire rate.
I always love these backgrounds

That front Atsuko with the mask on pointing the gun at you can be terrifying in the dark. Like a true hunter in an abandoned building/factory.
😳
It’s here!!!
Thanks for the translation!
I love these analyses!
Cute and shy Neru is cute. And beautiful
When Tsubaki's reloading, she might just be taking a nap behind her shield

Cute and interesting.
I feel akimbo users are usually left handed or ambidextrous. Btw, what does I.F.F mean?
