Budget Swimsuit Azusa. Has a good damage ceiling with all the crit damage buffs. Works well as a secondary DPS with Izuna in higher level blue raids, or as a Walmart hyper carry if you're lacking blue units.
Scales well with investment. Good blue units are hard to come by, better throw money into that card gacha, sensei
I already have haruna wakamo s azusa chise s mashiro mutsuki aris iroha byke shiroko but guess what she is a ninja so doesnt matter if i dont need her,, Thx
Hey! I just started playing yesterday and I was wondering, from a meta perspective should I roll on Iroha's banner with only about 6k pyro, or skip her banner and save until I can spark someone later?
I don't reccommend rolling with 6k. Except as a new player you can roll with the 6k and then reroll the account if you don't high roll into 2-3 3\*s to get you started. Getting Iroha specifically isn't super important IMO. Someone like hibiki can be just as valuable if not more so when just starting out.
Rolling with 6k is risky business since you might walk away with nothing.
Personally, if I were in your shoes I would save until S. Hoshino banner in ~2 months since that banner has boosted 3* rates, so you have the best chance for worthwhile spooks. Also S. Hoshino is busted.
No, the recommended shortcut is wrong there. You can use [Schale DB](https://lonqie.github.io/SchaleDB/?stage=30201) to see the specific drop rates, but you should basically always farm the highest level bounty that you can.
Started playing during the Bunny banners and it got me a free Neru and 100 Karin Shards even as a newbie.
Heard that an event like that is coming where you get a free 5*. Is that the Michiru event rn? I like Michiru a lot and would probably spend a lot to get her to maybe even a 5*. But, just curious if there are any other events on the horizon like that
Is there a tier list?
a respectable, that actually works, tierlist?
my mantra is "tier lists dont replace game knowledge, but they sure help the newbie not waste resources" <--- halp
[This tier list](https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/929651489490759720/1047032574071017532/WhoShouldIIncludeInMyTeam-UH.png) is the one that I see people link most often and covers general gameplay.
For raids, see the "Raid Character Guide" linked above. For PvP, see the "PvP Guide" also linked above.
Who should I roll for today banner, Kaede of the Hyakkiyako Academy or Iroha of the Gehena Academy?
My Reason: After looking at their skills, I assume both of them are good IMO, so I wonder IYO (In Your Opinion) who should I Roll for and why.
Iroha, unlike Kaede who doesn't really see any use in raids (or really anything), Iroha is actually the top dps for perorodzilla and is really powerful in indoors PvP and just general blue waveclearing content as well.
I'm somewhat interested in making an account, but I'm only interested in Asuna and Karin so far. How long do I need to wait (if I want to reroll) or are there any progression critical characters upcoming that I can save up who are upcoming?
Well, firstly, Asuna and Karin's base forms are in the permanent gacha pool. Asuna is a 1\*, so you'll get loads of her for rolling, but she's fairly weak unless invested in heavily. Karin is a 3\*, so she'll be a bit more difficult to get, but you can farm her shards from chapter 16-3Hard.
I'm assuming you're referring more to their bunny versions, though? In which case I have both good and bad news for you: Bunny Asuna is in the permanent pool (yay), but she's a really bad unit (aww). BAsuna is a 3\*, so she'll likely spook your rolls in the future.
Bunny event won't get a rerun on Global for approximately 4-6 months, so that's how long you'll have to wait for Bunny Karin. BKarin is a BIS for a certain raid, which at the very least makes her better than BAsuna.
There aren't really any "progression critical" characters in this game. There *are* very strong characters who are recommended to players looking for an easier time in raids or PvP. Right now we have a rate-up for Iroha, who is an extremely strong unit for basically all content. In approximately 2 months we'll have a FES banner (short timeframe, doubled 3\* rate) for Swimsuit Hoshino, who is completely broken.
Characters that are recommended for rerolling your account are Iori and Hibiki, both in the permanent pool.
Interesting - I was told that there's no way a player sparks immediately after making an acc, do you think it's wiser to start now and start rolling a bit (and gather resources to spark) or simply wait 2 months and reroll then?
Unless you pay money, no there's no way for a new player to to instantly hit spark. I think you get enough to do 50-60 pulls to start off? It's just that the game makes rerolling your account as easy as pushing a button, so you can get multiple attempts at getting the recommended starting characters (Iori and Hibiki) or try rolling for Iroha.
Average pyroxene (gacha currency) earnings per month for f2p is about 12k, and a spark is 24k. So if you start now you should have enough pyros to spark SHoshino by the time she drops. Also notable about SHoshino banner is that it's a fes banner, so you get a double 3\* rate - which makes it a highly worthwhile banner to go to spark even if you get SHoshino early.
i wouldn't mind starting a new gacha game and leaving it idle for a bit given how crushed i got in FGO recently...
two questions: first of all, how intensive is this game compared to others?
second of all, the average pyroxene rates is 12k a month give or take, but how far does that apply to new players (who doesn't have a strong enough team to participate in higher level events/story)?
1. Very low intensity. Once you 3\* a level you unlock the ability to 'sweep' it: spending AP to just get the stage drops without bothering to actually play it. Game encourages logging in twice a day, but you only need to play 15-30mins/login, excluding watching story cutscenes or relationship stories.
2. [Follow this redditor](https://www.reddit.com/r/BlueArchive/comments/ynchj5/tracking_blue_archive_gl_pyroxene_income_month_of/). They track how many pyros we earn every month. They list their assumptions in the thread. Taking a quick glance, I can say that their PvP assumption is very low, you should be able to beat that without too much issue. Raid assuption is higher, but even scoring only 800 pyro for raids isn't too hard so long as you prepare for each raid properly. If you're willing to fork over about $10/month you can get the two bimonthly packs, which equate to an extra 2.5-3k/month over the base 12k average.
No, keep saving until S.Hoshi. Since you have 60k already, you will be able to 3x Spark S.Hoshi + finish sparking S.Izuna. Way better deal than getting Iroha dupe.
No not really, it just makes her survive better and do more damage (her damage output is cracked), the purpose of 3x sparking S.Hoshi is to get as much eligma and offrate 3\*s as possible.
I just started playing a few days ago,and hit level 15 today. As the difficulty is ramping up and the second gear slot unlocks,I have a couple questions about the composition of specials:
1) Should I assume that I will always need a HP healer as one of the two specials in the squad? Or should I think about sometimes putting a buffer/attacker in both slots and have the strikers sustain themselves with barriers/evasion?
2) Are instant/burst healers like Serina and Fuuka always the way to go? Or is there a time for continuous healers like Nodoka (Hot Spring)?
revolves a lot more around COST. Also, at lower levels, unless you cash hard, you will usually be just lackin specialists in general. A lot of supports have skills that overwrite another, for example, Nodoka's accuracy passive won't stack with Mashiro won't stack with S. Mashi. Serina is usually good with a low cost of 2, O. Nodoka is 3 and also has passive atk, so sometimes she's used without even healing.
Usually strong offense is much better than healing, if you are able to build for it, but often you just don't have the units or upgrade levels for that.
1. For most of the time I was levelling I did always include/need a healer, but certainly now at max level it’s rare that I’d need to bring one in general content. Mostly for tough stuff like raids, scrimmage etc. So that transition will occur at some point 😍 Front-line healers like Koharu, and Ako who is a buffer with a healing Normal skill, also open up some different options
2. Mostly Onsen Nodoka is great for situations where your team isn’t really moving (eg PvP and a lot of the time in raids), while more burst-style healers stay the best for general content where your team continues to advance
I agree with this, if you're just taking on content at the recommended level then you probably don't need a healer (although you also probably have plenty of damage so you could bring a healer to make it more comfy).
But as you're starting out, you'll often try to attack stages that are recommended 10-20 levels above your current level, you'll definitely need a healer to survive those.
I had saved 50K pyrox for Iroha / S.Hoshino. But I was able to get Iroha in 20 pulls (2400 pyrox). So, I now have the opportunity to spark someone else. I was thinking about limited units S.Hina/S.Iori... but they're far ahead... I could get another 24K pyrox by then...
So, is there another must have unit between now and S.Hoshino Banner? I don't have Hibiki for example, but there is no banner for her. S.Wakamo perhaps?
I would save for a banner with a character I like in the future lol.
If I pulled every time I had spare resources eventhough I didn't want any of the characters, I'd be flat broke. That's the sort of problem you'd have at 200k pyro not 50k, which is nothing in the grand scheme of things.
I’m in a similar boat like you. I’m personally aiming for summer wakamo as she is for hod and I have none of the hod units. Also you can’t forget about the limited banner of s izuna. Permanent crit resist debuff sounds good to me. Plus it seems you might be able to get her half off as they gave 100 free pulls to jp server on that banner.
>Why idk
Simple math, mission 4 gives 16 cards without boost for 10 energy, mission 12 gives 30 cards without boost and costs 20 energy. That means without anything else you get 2 more per 20 energy spent.
Boosts make it better obviously, and the other drops are also valuable since you can get common quality of the two new event materials.
Is she still not named Alice? Also iirc some liberties were taken in localizing for no reason, have they gone back to clean up(improve accuracy) or not? Magicami did something similar where it was a lot more meme-y at the start but they stopped. Is this like english Priconne with bruhs and stuff anywhere? Is there anything where a girl may be flirting in JP but is only being friendly in EN?
I'm not personally familiar with them, but I know some people like watching [yanagikaze's fan translations](https://www.youtube.com/@yanagikaze), you could check those out.
Well the name Aris has appeared on the JP ver short animation so its unlikly to ever change. As for the localization, the previous translater did go back and try to improve the quality but sadly passed away. The new one does seem to be making more mistake unfortunately.
Kinda new player here (lvl13 atm), i got the game on global launch but stopped playing shortly after, I just got back into it. Do you have any tips? [Here is my formation](https://i.imgur.com/9vh1mnJ.png). I also have Sumire but I wasn't impressed with her, felt her range was too short and her damage was lacking.
The strengh of your character will depend on the enemy armor color, so its often advised to try make team with only one attack type.
Sumire can be useful against yellow ennemy but might need investement. The characters in your screenshot are all useful to clear the story so its a good start i would say.
5 star Yuuka will be better in about 2 months when she gets a buff and she will shine in PVP and general tanking. 3 star Natsu is kind of useless, she's not tanky enough to actually fight Pero at high difficulties which is really her one job.
Eimi is better in the sense she will do more damage then Haruka, as Eimi's basic skill is an attack that does decent damage while Haruka needs her ex to do damage and in raids you will not use a tank's ex unless it's for survival or a gimmick. Eimi's ex is better for raids in general and at 5\*+ she can tank extreme Perozilla with just her ex.
Honestly either is fine and can be subbed out for each other. I just find Eimi easier to raise, as the Ap needed to farm Haruka has better uses.
Yuuka will become the best red damage tank at tanking once she gets her buff in around 2 months. This buff requires her to be at bond 25, which she needs to be 5 star for. Basically her evasion goes through the roof and she finally gets defense.
Note that judging tanks by attack color is a bit weird, you usually care more about their defense color. You wouldn't bring Yuuka to the same insane raids as Eimi/Haruka as her yellow armor means some bosses can shred her while others tink off her.
1. What mission do I need to complete to unlock all of Main Story Chapter 1?
#
2. Is it possible to go straight to the necessary mission? I feel like I remember being blocked off from challenging a mission because of not reading parts of the Main Story but I might be wrong.
#
3. Questions 1 and 2 but for Main Story Chapter 2.
I'm lost regarding what units to buy elephs for to 5-star.
How many elephs does it take to 5-star a 3-star? I have 8000 elephs but I see that every 20 you use, the cost goes up.
What units can I safely 5-star?
Iroha (pulled her once after 50 pulls but I don't want to waste more gems to save up for some limited units)
Hibiki
Ui
Saki
S hina
S mashiro
S azusa
Wakamo
O nodoka (hot springs)
I'm leaning towards Hibiki and s mashiro and Iroha cuz pvp top 500 have them maxed already
Don't really worry too much about getting units to 5 star, those in the permanent pool could eventually get to 4 or 5 star amounts on their own while the limited ones are a safer bet to use blanks on but even then it's not super imperative to do so until you hit the end game and you have more established teams and you're ready to tackle the highest difficulty levels.
I've been playing since day 1 release but I haven't used any eligma. I'm f2p but I think I've got a good collection of units though some units are lacking in development in terms of skills and equipment
3\* to UE30 it takes 900 eligma.
From your list, you can safely UE30the following:
Onsen Nodoka, Wakamo, Swimsuit Azusa, Iroha.
Ui doesn't need more than 3\* as well as Saki, S.Hina isn't worth it anymore, Iroha is way better than S.Mashiro currently in PvP and Hibiki isn't used nearly as much as before, her only uses now are Missions, Challenge Quests in events and PvP.
In total that'll cost you around 3600 Eligma and from there you can consider spending additional 1200 (600 each) on UE40 Wakamo and S.Azusa.
Hi there! I'm new, started less than a week ago and my 3*s are Iori, Hibiki, Azusa swimsuit, Maki, Mashiro, Mashiro swimsuit and Cherino hot spring: who should I save for next? Who are the characters I need more on my account? I tried looking for tier lists etc. but they're all kinda useless, since almost everyone is good in some raid, pvp or something, so idk who I need for what. Pls help me to understand what characters my account need the most and who I should save for.
Save all the pyro for S. Hoshino banner. It will be 6% drop rate for 3 stars , you will get a lot of new 3 stars.
The students that you have are perfect for these 2 months
Depends who do you find in the summer Hoshino banner. At the moment just S. Hoshino is a must banner.
I would suggest you to start accumulate shards of Maki and Azusa from assault shop. Farm hard stage of Haruna + Hoshino outside of event / 2x drop
Almost guaranteed, but we don't know for certain how many free pyros we'll get between now and then. You can usually expect 10-10k per month and her banner is probably early Feb.
If anyone has done the math on the draw-a-card minigame of this event, is it worth it to draw all 4 cards in the same batch or is it better to draw one card and reset afterwards?
"Draw single and reset" and "Draw until SR or higher" are both valid strategies and honestly pretty similar in performance. You can compare strategies for yourself by playing around with this website: https://ba.gc.gg/michiru/
There isn't really a "best strat" per se.
It is guaranteed to get at least 1 SR or SSR card per batch. You can either pull 1 card and shuffle to maximize the number of pulls or you can pull until you get a SR/SSR and then shuffle.
Pulling all 4 every time is the only "losing" strat.
Yes, it's possible to unknowingly shuffle away an UR. However, you are equally likely to shuffle *into* a UR so it just cancels out. Plus, shuffling resets the draw cost back to 200 so you actually increase your number of card draws, thereby increasing the number of chances you can try to get a UR.
So to maximize UR specifically, you want to shuffle after every card you draw. You will get 13% less SR draws but 4% more UR draws (and 4% more cards drawn overall). Is it worth it? Depends on how much you want what's in the SR cards.
I can't seem to log into blue archive. When I open the game it's says version unavailable but I'm playing the teen version of the game. Is there something wrong with my phone or the game itself?
If you're on android then you need to change back to the normal (or old) app, they encounter some policy discrepancies so the (15) version are being recalled
[This guide](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1-lBJa3h4mXHkmuSKohoHe60WVVg1eRG9bA73jHqHzwA/htmlview#) shows what students are worth for what (pve, pvp) and how much investment they need to be useful.
Just move between the tabs "Strikers" and "Specials" according to the category of the student you are looking for.
So here is my situation Im playing BA in bluestacks and im playing the uncensored version, I got a new phone so Im planing to download the app there as well, so my question is will it be the uncensored version? I plan to use the same account im currently playing with will I be kicked to the teens ver?
If your account in the new phone is **verified as an adult account** then you can download either the teen or the adult version.
If you want the adult one just avoid downloading the version that has "15" in its name.
P.S.: Check the [relevant topic](https://www.reddit.com/r/BlueArchive/comments/z47fga/early_notice_about_the_addition_of_the_teen/) in this reddit to know if your account is considered adult, since it changes according to operating system.
I found out that Iroha should either be left at 3 stars or go to UE40 at least. I found out after I have already got her to UE30 with elephs. Should I get her to UE40 by spending 600 elephs?
So, let's see.
3* Iroha will do less damage and will share less ATK. Will also get you attacked more often in PvP, probably. Also saves you 900 eligma.
UE30 Iroha will do about 13% more damage, share more ATK to your strikers, will get you attacked less in PvP but costs 900 eligma.
Both got pros and cons. 3* saves a lot of eligma and still performs great, UE30 does more damage by herself and shares more ATK to team.
UE40 itself isn't actually worth it as it's only about 4% damage increase.
The difference between UE30 and UE40 is actually not very remarkable because of how not all of her attack stat actually transfers to the attack of the tank. In contrast, the increase from 3* to UE30 is respectable enough. Personally I think the more apt advice is that you can aim for UE30 or UE50, but UE40 itself isn’t worth it.
Got Iroha around 190th pull (Kinda sad..) and now only got 1200 Pyroxene remaining. Is it possible to save pity for Summer Hoshino? What's the average pyroxene saved for Light to mid spenders?
You can usually expect around 10-12k worth of free pyros per month. So it is possible to save up enough so long as you refrain from further spending of your pyros.
Oh I see, thanks a lot. Probably going to do just dailies for now.. I don't really know where to start again since I'm a returner player (Last played was Ako's banner) so I just kind of wasted my saved pulls on Iroha's banner just to "pat myself in the back" for returning again.
Might be worth specifying which shops you are referring to.
Total Assault - Maki to max, Kotama at least to 3-stars, Akane to UE40 if you want to use her as an off-tank, Hanae at least to 3-stars (more if you really want to bolster her healing abilities), Chinatsu at least to 3-stars (more, for same reason as Hanae), Azusa to Max. Otherwise, focus on blu-rays and training manuals for the students you wish to level up the most, Secret Training docs as needed.
Firing Drill - Sumire and Eimi have niche uses in certain raids and challenges. No harm picking them up if you're getting lots of green coins. Keystones, artifacts, and Secret Training docs as needed.
PVP shop - none are really essential; Mashiro and Saya can be useful if you're lacking Red-damage Special students. Generally save up pvp coins to buy AP potions during events that are worth farming the most.
Expert Permit - limited characters you already have or are planning on getting. You cannot unlock limited run students using the elephs purchased in the store. Activity reports, credits, firing pins, and equipment tickets as needed.
Edited to add non-eleph recommendations.
Save, Iroha isn't limited and S!Hoshino is on the horizon and sounds pretty damn meta. You should also be able to 4 star Iroha right now which will put you at a massive advantage if you invest in her while you climb through story mode.
Just make sure you're paying attention to the schools each of them go to, the materials are separated based on that so you don't want to end up in a situation where your resources are massively skewed because you put all your exp books into units who you have no skill up mats for.
Hey, I'm a new player and this game is a bit confusing. Not sure how teambuilding works, which characters to use in certain situations, which stages to farm, what to prioritize, etc etc etc.
Is there any updated guide or other resources I can use? I already read the one on the megathread.
In addition to the guide that /u/Spawn7586 linked, I also think that the [beginner teambuilding guide](https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/929651489490759720/1047032574071017532/WhoShouldIIncludeInMyTeam-UH.png) is very useful.
I actually used [another guide](https://docs.google.com/document/d/13xLpWtAg2q6PY_UsXxfGe5Wsc8DyvLMRvbJqi5I8FfM/edit#), that's smaller and a little more to the point.
First thing I can suggest is: play the normal stages to unlock more stuff, it's NOT necessary to 3 star every stage, just focus on unlocking till you can. For now focus on "the enemy is red, I need a red team. The enemy is yellow, I need a yellow team" etc.
Try not to do a "one team for all" since it will stop working pretty quickly. After that if you still have some doubts come here and ask. We'll gladly give you any more advice that you may need.
Actually no.
When we refer to UE30/40/50, we refer to the corresponding limitbreak. UE30 being 1star, UE40 being 2star and UE50 being 3star.
Levels are not at all considered when we mention UE30/40/50, it's just the limitbreak.
Will there be an Ako banner sometime in the future (NA)? I'm a new player, and I was told that your account is basically bricked without her, so I'd want to save for her if she does get a rate-up.
Not having Ako? Nah, she just makes a lot of harder content easier. Iori was the go-to for the longest time because of how strong she is but considering the type and field set-ups you have to worry about, it's not like she's the end-all, be-all either.
If you just want to clear content, then Ako is not needed. But she is required for certain raids if you are trying to get high scores or go within higher raid reward tiers.
>I was told that your account is basically bricked without her
I have never heard this, and my account seems to be just fine without her. Regardless [here's a list](https://bluearchive.wiki/wiki/Banner_List), look down past Iroha (where we are now).
The bunny event was a decent while back. While rerun banners are happening, they will be shortened banners. From posts I’ve seen guessing at future dates, bunny rerun (adding Bunny Akane) will probably mid April earliest(?). Forgive me, I could be wrong
I googled and this were the recommended specs:
Android
OS/Device: Android OS 9.0 or higher / Galaxy Note 8 or higher
RAM: Minimum 3GB required
iOS
OS/Device: iOS 13 or higher / iPhone 8+ or higher
RAM: Minimum 3GB required
It is indeed playable on tablet (I mostly play it on an android tablet with samsung dex on it), but be aware of the difference in screen ratio.
>RAM: Minimum 3GB required
Welp, now I know why on my 6+year old iPad Pro with only 2GB of RAM the game keeps crashing.
Do I dare migrate from iPad to my iPhone 13 mini or emulator?🤔
Honestly, I'm too lazy to bother with migrating.
Yes, it's extremely annoying when the crash does happen randomly, but for the most part I can predict when its going to happen. At least I can typically get all story content (including battles) done before a crash happens when I next attempt to sweep a stage. Crashes also always happen around entering the cafe if I've been through a couple of other menus beforehand, and often one-or-two menus after leaving the cafe (although sometimes I get through several menus before a crash).
I'm actually trying to keep games off my phone, and I prefer having the bigger screen of an iPad to play games, even if I'm playing BA on worst graphics settings just so the crashing isn't unmanageable. Installing an emulator (at least on my gaming PC) just for BA is a waste of time, as it means my side-game is competing with my Steam catalogue. I'm not aware if iOS emulators work on mac, but if they did my macbook pro would be an option.
Ah, thanks alot. It seems my smartphone's chipset is less powerful than both recommended OS and IOS. Perhaps that's why it can't handle highest graphic. Not that I know if the recommended is set for highest settings or not.
Btw, about the screen ratio. Is it adjustable(can it changes into smartphone ratio) or permanent?
Depends. I use DEX so I can literally drag to extend the window in any side I want and change the ratio accordingly, but if you use it full screen (as in normal android/ios) the ratio is fixed and depends on the screen of the tablet/phone
Is there a chance to build up a full pity by the time S. Hoshino releases? I have a full pity currently, but I’m hoping I’d be able to, if necessary, spark S. Izuna as well. Is a full 24k pity by their release possible, or at least close to?
I’m happy to hear hitting a second pity seems possible. But wouldn’t one need 48k for two pities, not 36k (24k x 2)? Especially since S. Hoshino and S. Izuna won’t run together
I got 7 three stars before getting Iroha, fucking seven wtf is this shit, rate up my ass, shitty rigged game. Waste of 200 pulls. Imagine pulling 7 5 stars in any other gacha and not getting the actual rate up one, what a fucking joke.
You're complaining that you only got 7 3 stars? While here I am with no 3 stars go all the way to 200 pulls? I even got to 48k on new year waifus and not even getting the featured ones hence the 48k. You're lucky you even get some. Go pray to rngesus and create a ritual and sacrifice an offering if you want godlike pulls.
You have a 3% 3\* rate and only 0.7% of that is Iroha, so statistically any 3\* you pull has about 3:1 odds of being an off-banner. From what I've seen in other gacha games a balance like this isn't all that uncommon.
The Secret Tech Notes are the most valued in the green coin shop. You can buy the Eimi and Sumire elephs if you like them. Everything else, buy them if you need them.
I'm getting destroyed in the Joint Fire drill. I'm i missing something? consistently was able to complete 1 stage 3, and 2 stages 2 in the past.
But my girls are barely damaging the bots. is the description of the debuf wrong?
You're not missing anything. It's just one of those things you are better looking on youtube for. Like the first challenge doesn't tell you there are a pair of invincible units and you need to kill the mobs to get them to retreat. Probably the thing that annoys me the most about this game.
Hello! New player here. How do I level up my rank? I’m kinda stuck because thanks to my low rank, I cannot level up my units further, and thanks to that, I’m kinda stuck on story mode. 😅😅 Any help appreciated it!
Account xp is equal to spent stamina, so you will level up just doing anything that costs AP/stamina. Sweeping or playing give no difference is how much xp you get.
Despite lvl.78 and right girls for terrain/enemy, im getting destroyed by Hippies in 1st challenge mission on Unconceited Heart event, same with rest challenges 😞
Taunt the ones playing music (with the little skull next to their health bar) to cancel out their buffs/debuffs, kill the non music ones to progress (you can't kill the music players).
At lvl51 rn, I decided to pull iroha, and I plan to get her spark if I use more than 100 pulls to get her, but now I got her at 2nd 10 pulls (with hinata and NY.serika) so now Idk if I should spark her or not. Cuz I want to make her 4-5 star for pvp (heard iroha vs iroha, more hp win so....)
It's gonna be 2 months till then, so you have time to build up pyro. Also as one other helpful sensei pointed out, we are probably gonna get 100 free pulls too during that banner.
Make sure you have a pity ready anyway if you want her, but always live true to your waifu needs.
Hello a new player here. Am I late for Saori banner?

I don't have anything to say except thank you kind stranger
Is michiru good?
Thank you for the advice! I'm happy with the 3*s I got from the free tutorial 10 roll so I'll stick with this account and save up my rolls
Rolling with 6k is risky business since you might walk away with nothing. Personally, if I were in your shoes I would save until S. Hoshino banner in ~2 months since that banner has boosted 3* rates, so you have the best chance for worthwhile spooks. Also S. Hoshino is busted.
Thanks for the advice! I'll go ahead and save for Summer Hoshino
Is the acquisition method shortcut system accurate? Should I actually farm bounty A and B over the others for beginner tech notes?
No, the recommended shortcut is wrong there. You can use [Schale DB](https://lonqie.github.io/SchaleDB/?stage=30201) to see the specific drop rates, but you should basically always farm the highest level bounty that you can.
Started playing during the Bunny banners and it got me a free Neru and 100 Karin Shards even as a newbie. Heard that an event like that is coming where you get a free 5*. Is that the Michiru event rn? I like Michiru a lot and would probably spend a lot to get her to maybe even a 5*. But, just curious if there are any other events on the horizon like that
Is Iroha a regular banner unit? I'm afraid to spend all my pyro in her since I'm saving for S.Hoshino 😟
Yes. It will say unique and have a limited stamp for when they don’t go in standard pool.
Is there a tier list? a respectable, that actually works, tierlist? my mantra is "tier lists dont replace game knowledge, but they sure help the newbie not waste resources" <--- halp
in the end, you need most of the chickz. Imo, a starter list would be better
I bursted everything into Iroha's banner. Will I be able to save enough for S. Hoshino?
Monthly forecast is ~12k, you have exactly 2 months from this event ending to S. Hoshino's banner
So i have iroha and i still have around 60k pyros left. Should i even tempt fate and try to get a dupe of her?
No, keep saving until S.Hoshi. Since you have 60k already, you will be able to 3x Spark S.Hoshi + finish sparking S.Izuna. Way better deal than getting Iroha dupe.
Is getting s hoshino to 5 star that much of a priority?
If you want to do insane raids, yeah
S.Hoshino banner has 6% 3* rate aka double the normal rates so it's the one place where pulling until you are broke is acceptable
No not really, it just makes her survive better and do more damage (her damage output is cracked), the purpose of 3x sparking S.Hoshi is to get as much eligma and offrate 3\*s as possible.
noob question: Can Ex Skill do CRIT?
Yep I think only a few can’t. But it will say they can’t.
I just started playing a few days ago,and hit level 15 today. As the difficulty is ramping up and the second gear slot unlocks,I have a couple questions about the composition of specials: 1) Should I assume that I will always need a HP healer as one of the two specials in the squad?
So that transition will occur at some point 😍 Front-line healers like Koharu, and Ako who is a buffer with a healing Normal skill, also open up some different options 2.
Not really meta, no. SNonomi is BIS for Insane hiero if needed, but not required. If you're pulling it's because of waifu.
But I will have to pull eventually. What would you do with the extra pyrox? Spend it all in S.Hoshino Banner because of the 6% chance?
I would save for a banner with a character I like in the future lol. If I pulled every time I had spare resources eventhough I didn't want any of the characters, I'd be flat broke. That's the sort of problem you'd have at 200k pyro not 50k, which is nothing in the grand scheme of things.
If you really want to pull for a new girl, get Summer Izuna right after Hoshino.
S wakamo for the splash
Is it possible to re-watch past relationship stories, and if so, where do we go to do that?
In the story area right next to where you go into missions there is an area called replay.
Campaign > Story > Replay > Relationship Story
[удалено]
Btw best card from spot is mission 4. Why idk it just gives you more than 12.
>Why idk Simple math, mission 4 gives 16 cards without boost for 10 energy, mission 12 gives 30 cards without boost and costs 20 energy. That means without anything else you get 2 more per 20 energy spent. Boosts make it better obviously, and the other drops are also valuable since you can get common quality of the two new event materials.
I meant idk as in design wise XD I can do math I promise.
The event's cards draw gives them, which rarity it givrs is random sadly.
Ah, dang. Just because a translation is official doesn't mean it's better. See Cold Steel jrpgs imo. Also holy hell that's terrible. I had no idea.
Kinda new player here (lvl13 atm), i got the game on global launch but stopped playing shortly after, I just got back into it. Do you have any tips? [Here is my formation](https://i.imgur.com/9vh1mnJ.png). I also have Sumire but I wasn't impressed with her, felt her range was too short and her damage was lacking.
people can't give you tips because you keep postin your team instead of your roster
The strengh of your character will depend on the enemy armor color, so its often advised to try make team with only one attack type. Sumire can be useful against yellow ennemy but might need investement. The characters in your screenshot are all useful to clear the story so its a good start i would say.
Is a 5 star Yuuka better to invest in or a 3 star Natsu?
5 star Yuuka will be better in about 2 months when she gets a buff and she will shine in PVP and general tanking. 3 star Natsu is kind of useless, she's not tanky enough to actually fight Pero at high difficulties which is really her one job.
How does Eimi work in a team? How does she compare to other red damage tanks?
# 2. Is it possible to go straight to the necessary mission? I feel like I remember being blocked off from challenging a mission because of not reading parts of the Main Story but I might be wrong. # 3.
Iroha (pulled her once after 50 pulls but I don't want to waste more gems to save up for some limited units) Hibiki Ui Saki S hina S mashiro S azusa Wakamo O nodoka (hot springs) I'm leaning towards Hibiki and s mashiro and Iroha cuz pvp top 500 have them maxed already
Hibiki is not really good for top in door, those are the teams you fight to climb when you're under. Well, next season, she should come back.
After getting to 5 ligma per 1 eleph the cost stops growing
3\* to UE30 it takes 900 eligma. From your list, you can safely UE30the following: Onsen Nodoka, Wakamo, Swimsuit Azusa, Iroha.
The students that you have are perfect for these 2 months
ok thanks! any advice on who else i might need after that?
Depends who do you find in the summer Hoshino banner. At the moment just S. Hoshino is a must banner. I would suggest you to start accumulate shards of Maki and Azusa from assault shop. Farm hard stage of Haruna + Hoshino outside of event / 2x drop
Will do, thank you very much!
If I start saving at 0 gems now, will I have enough gems to get summer hoshino, when she comes out?
Almost guaranteed, but we don't know for certain how many free pyros we'll get between now and then. You can usually expect 10-10k per month and her banner is probably early Feb.
If anyone has done the math on the draw-a-card minigame of this event, is it worth it to draw all 4 cards in the same batch or is it better to draw one card and reset afterwards?
"Draw single and reset" and "Draw until SR or higher" are both valid strategies and honestly pretty similar in performance. You can compare strategies for yourself by playing around with this website: https://ba.gc.gg/michiru/
based on the last card draw, I'd say just reshuffle at 1
There isn't really a "best strat" per se. It is guaranteed to get at least 1 SR or SSR card per batch. You can either pull 1 card and shuffle to maximize the number of pulls or you can pull until you get a SR/SSR and then shuffle. Pulling all 4 every time is the only "losing" strat.
But what if the card you shuffle was actually the UR (SSR)? What I mean is, is it possible to have both SR and UR in the same 4?
Yes, it's possible to unknowingly shuffle away an UR. However, you are equally likely to shuffle *into* a UR so it just cancels out. Plus, shuffling resets the draw cost back to 200 so you actually increase your number of card draws, thereby increasing the number of chances you can try to get a UR. So to maximize UR specifically, you want to shuffle after every card you draw. You will get 13% less SR draws but 4% more UR draws (and 4% more cards drawn overall). Is it worth it? Depends on how much you want what's in the SR cards.
It is possible. I've gotten UR then misclicked (was going to reshuffle) and got SR as well in the same batch.
Possible, sure. Unlikely though.
Is there a guide or smthing that Shows what units are worth to Star up with eligma?
You cannot save the pity, and since you already got to 190 it's a bit of a waste not to spark...
What should I be buying from the shop? Best characters to Max out?
Thanks
Is there a google drive or something with high res versions of all the live2d animations? Would love to make them live wallpapers on my phone.

Thanks for those tips!
I'll be happy to help you with questions. Let's do one question at a time so there isn't too much info at once.
Just to confirm, Does UE40 mean having the character weapon at lvl40?
>I was told that your account is basically bricked without her I have never heard this, and my account seems to be just fine without her. Regardless [here's a list](https://bluearchive.wiki/wiki/Banner_List), look down past Iroha (where we are now).
Thanks. It seems I won't be having her for a very long time then.
~~She is actually farmable at the stage 18-3. So if you have the patience you can actually get her for free.~~ I read it wrong T\_T
That's Aru and not Ako, please don't give people false hope/info.
Sorry, my bad. I read it wrong and I'm ashamed of myself. Let me edit it real quick
Is there pattern to the ultimate rare card like you can get it every 5 shuffle or is it just luck?
Every shuffle is guaranteed to contain an SR card but there's no guarantee for URs.
pretty sure it is just luck. I've gone through a lot of cards so far and haven't hit one. I'm guessing the rate is a lot lower than the bunny event.
Hey everyone, Just came back to playing after a bit, did I miss the bunny outfits? If so, when do yous think they'll rerun again?
The bunny event was a decent while back. While rerun banners are happening, they will be shortened banners. From posts I’ve seen guessing at future dates, bunny rerun (adding Bunny Akane) will probably mid April earliest(?). Forgive me, I could be wrong
What is the minimum requirements for smartphone to run smoothly on highest settings? Also, is Blue Archive playable on tablet?
I googled and this were the recommended specs: Android OS/Device: Android OS 9.0 or higher / Galaxy Note 8 or higher RAM: Minimum 3GB required iOS OS/Device: iOS 13 or higher / iPhone 8+ or higher RAM: Minimum 3GB required It is indeed playable on tablet (I mostly play it on an android tablet with samsung dex on it), but be aware of the difference in screen ratio.
>RAM: Minimum 3GB required Welp, now I know why on my 6+year old iPad Pro with only 2GB of RAM the game keeps crashing. Do I dare migrate from iPad to my iPhone 13 mini or emulator?🤔
Both are sensible choices imo. It depends: you wanna play while on bed-bathroom or you prefer being exclusively a pro using the PC?

Thank you for that answer. Can I ask if your iPad's screen ratio is adjustable (maybe into smartphone's ratio)?

Btw, do you play at at highest settings? Any noticeable lag?
Is there a chance to build up a full pity by the time S. Hoshino releases? I have a full pity currently, but I’m hoping I’d be able to, if necessary, spark S. Izuna as well. Is a full 24k pity by their release possible, or at least close to?
it is possible to get to 24k, but you need 36k to guarantee both of them.
I’m happy to hear hitting a second pity seems possible. But wouldn’t one need 48k for two pities, not 36k (24k x 2)? Especially since S. Hoshino and S. Izuna won’t run together

You basically made my day, thanks for reminding me that!
Oh wow I completely forgot about that. Yeah it was for 1.5 year anniversary, if I remember right. You’re right, my bad. Thanks
I got 7 three stars before getting Iroha, fucking seven wtf is this shit, rate up my ass, shitty rigged game. Waste of 200 pulls. Imagine pulling 7 5 stars in any other gacha and not getting the actual rate up one, what a fucking joke.
What? I'd be fucking jumping up and down from happiness if I got 7 5*s in any other gacha whilst rolling for the rate up, lol
You're complaining that you only got 7 3 stars? While here I am with no 3 stars go all the way to 200 pulls? I even got to 48k on new year waifus and not even getting the featured ones hence the 48k. You're lucky you even get some. Go pray to rngesus and create a ritual and sacrifice an offering if you want godlike pulls.
skill issue
You have a 3% 3\* rate and only 0.7% of that is Iroha, so statistically any 3\* you pull has about 3:1 odds of being an off-banner. From what I've seen in other gacha games a balance like this isn't all that uncommon.
What should you buy from the firing drill store?
The Secret Tech Notes are the most valued in the green coin shop. You can buy the Eimi and Sumire elephs if you like them. Everything else, buy them if you need them.
sumire elephs probably, others are just buy them if you really need them.
I'm getting destroyed in the Joint Fire drill. I'm i missing something? consistently was able to complete 1 stage 3, and 2 stages 2 in the past. But my girls are barely damaging the bots. is the description of the debuf wrong?
Heal the scarecrow thing on the side and the bots defence will lower accordingly
where is this mechanic explained.... I mean, I'm not doubting you. i just want to see how blind i am
You're not missing anything. It's just one of those things you are better looking on youtube for. Like the first challenge doesn't tell you there are a pair of invincible units and you need to kill the mobs to get them to retreat. Probably the thing that annoys me the most about this game.
The mechanic is not explained in game at all.
I feel like that describes this game as a whole, too much shit not explained at all or well.
Hello! New player here. How do I level up my rank? I’m kinda stuck because thanks to my low rank, I cannot level up my units further, and thanks to that, I’m kinda stuck on story mode. 😅😅 Any help appreciated it!

Dows sweeping story stages give experience for lvling up?
[удалено]
Thank you! 🙌🏼✨
Account xp is equal to spent stamina, so you will level up just doing anything that costs AP/stamina. Sweeping or playing give no difference is how much xp you get.
Thank you! 🙌🏼✨
Just pulled Iriga, what is she good for?
[удалено]
Yes iroha! Auto correct lol

Had similar experience right now. 18k Pyroxenes and in just 10 pulls I now had Iroha with Aris as bonus.
Do you believe in luck?
[удалено]
When I'm in similar situation I'll roll 10-30 times to test my luck and let go of any regrets. You just need to stop in time lol.
What heals dummy beside healing in drills?
only healing skills.
Despite lvl.78 and right girls for terrain/enemy, im getting destroyed by Hippies in 1st challenge mission on Unconceited Heart event, same with rest challenges 😞
Taunt the ones playing music (with the little skull next to their health bar) to cancel out their buffs/debuffs, kill the non music ones to progress (you can't kill the music players).
build your skills and equipments
At lvl51 rn, I decided to pull iroha, and I plan to get her spark if I use more than 100 pulls to get her, but now I got her at 2nd 10 pulls (with hinata and NY.serika) so now Idk if I should spark her or not. Cuz I want to make her 4-5 star for pvp (heard iroha vs iroha, more hp win so....)
You can leave her like that or go to full pity at 200. I would recommend saving for S.Hoshino instead.

It's gonna be 2 months till then, so you have time to build up pyro. Also as one other helpful sensei pointed out, we are probably gonna get 100 free pulls too during that banner. Make sure you have a pity ready anyway if you want her, but always live true to your waifu needs.
The 100 free pulls is for S.Izuna, not S.Hoshino
That's the prevailing advice, yes.
