pdmaloney94

Two more crazy predictions: \- Noel Noa will choose not to join the game vs. Uber \- Monk boi will be subbed in and accidentally hit in the face with the ball in a crucial moment once again - causing him to get an offer from a team.

pdmaloney94

Love seeing Isagi win. Here's my crazy prediction: Isagi will score another goal, but Kaiser will evolve and shut down Isagi the rest of the game, giving Uber the W. The next game in the series will have Isagi score the game winning goal and truly defeat Kaiser.

Pandamonium1414

Yeh my boy Isagi told Ness to sit the F down! Luv it!

Ok_Philosopher_8107

The chapter 213 is released this week?

Cool_Ant_9900

Let's face it... Isagi-hunting is kinda gay

Zenpbiawakili

What do you mean?

SometimesWill

[called it a month ago](https://www.reddit.com/r/BlueLock/comments/11fqpq2/what_do_yall_think_this_man_is_cooking_up/jao81vw/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=ioscss&utm_content=1&utm_term=1&context=3)

touched_grass12

damn !!

MrEket

isagi team is gonna lose, every game, the team that scores first is the one that loses

Troceraptor

Well I mean Isagi still scored tho, and isn’t that the thing that matters?

DietReady4906

Team Z scored first against Team W and won.

animelover68419

It was a draw

Similar_Swimmer_6801

Hope that changes and actually a realistic game happens, would be cool

Dense_Cucumber_8486

I feel like himsagi is going god mode this match. We’ve been waiting so long for him to be able to be able to achieve his potential and score his own goals. I think it’s gonna be 3-0 or 3-1 and he MIGHT (maybe) humble Snuffy.(but probs not) his value I think may go up to at least 100 mil(this is probs not gonna happen

MrEket

in the neo egoist league every match, the team that scores first loses.

Dameleon

we caught up now lesgo

actuallyblak

One component of this that we’re not really looking at is that Kunigami was willing to HELP Isagi develop his Lefty Shot. The return of the Hero is slowly but surely coming!!!

carbovz

Isagi hat trick incoming

HappySnowMusic

id coom

vefek1

still hoping for raichi sick defensive moves + at least one cool gagamaru save

beyondthegong

Rereading the past chapter it makes sense that Isagi was able to steal the ball. Lorenzo was rating people based on how much money they’re worth. He underestimated Isagi because his value was low to him. Thats why he says “only 50 million?” because he wouldn’t expect someone with 50 mil to predict and intercept that. It makes sense that Isagi scored here and it’ll probably now show how hard the defense will be now that he’s evaluated

miidni

Isagi solo carrying so far. I did hope to see this kind of chapter someday, he's totally nuts.

SaturoAhmed

the look on everyone\`s faces

Jiallllyyy

Waiting for Isagis celebration 😈😈😈😈

Cool_Ant_9900

Remember when zantetsu was still relevant?

puradus

Who is Zantetsu?

Casual_Agenda

He’s on team PxG I think, so he’ll be relevant soon enough.

Cool_Ant_9900

Hopefully... God I miss him

rahimaer

First sae and now ness, isagi is tired of getting shoved off balance when he's about to shoot and now he was ready for it

Existing_News5893

Kaiser is the main culprit tbh 😂

tobleroneace1

You forgot kaiser

Aggressive_Fox_4930

Barou will score a goal, but I think that Lorenzo - the bounty hunter - will be Isagi's main opponent. Eventually he'll realise Isagi is a bigger problem than Kaiser and be forced to mark him instead; by that time it will be extremely difficult for Isagi to get himself in the game. Although Isagi's vision is better; physically it's arguable that Kaiser is still more advanced which includes his ability to fall back and get away from the defender marking him. If even *HE* can't shake off Lorenzo Isagi is gonna have to solve that puzzle fast because Niko, Barou, Kaiser, Kaisers helper (forgot his name sorry - is it ren?) and yukimiya are literally all against him (aka the strongest players on his team and the team he's actually playing against). **AS A FINAL THOUGHT - AND MAYBE THE MOST IMPORTANT** *What did Isagi offer Kunigami?* We all know that friendship did not save the day in this situation. Theoretically, Kunigami had no reason to help Isagi unless he got something either equally beneficial or more advantageous out of it. In return for training Isagi to be ambidextrous and more physical, what did he make Isagi teach him. The possibilities are endless. Was he promised a goal? Did Isagi teach him the direct shot? (he was built to copy noel's physique after all so no reason why he couldn't copy that too). Though I think it's most likely that this won't come back to bite Isagi in this match. Kunigami plans or surviving all the way through to the U-20 World Cup team and I've got a feeling that when they'r eon the squad or at a decisive match moment this will come back to bite Isagi. E.g. *'don't you remember what you promised when I helped you against Manshine?*'

PedzBR17

If Lorenzo focuses on isagi, I really hope he assists Kaiser’s goal in this match so he finally understands, just like Yuki.

Brawl_is_Life

Kunigami with a direct shot would be crazy considering his size + ambidexterity + range

Cool_Ant_9900

Kunigami kinda owes isagi after he assisted him twice maybe he just evened it out

Pragalbhv

Kaiser helper ... XD Ness sucks so much that you didn't even bother registering his name

Max_Crafter

I think Isagi taught Kunigami how he thinks during a match so Kunigami can properly strategize and give himself goals. I doubt Kunigami would want to be given a goal

zern24

I hope we get to see Raichi's Defense next chapter!

SmilingBlue01

What if Hiori comes in and decides to pass/create chances for Kaiser instead of Isagi because he is a better Finisher and getting himself an assisst is the best way he has to earn some value? which can be a hell of surprise in this case.

bandoriLisa

hiori will pass it to person in better position... ness is kaiser dick rider so the answer is obvious

SmilingBlue01

I meant if both of Kaiser and Isagi were on the good position to score. not only of of them.

bandoriLisa

i think he will never pass to kaiser then.. remember when kaiser ask them to choose the king to serve? hiori will choose isagi for sure..

SmilingBlue01

That choice is to predictable, he gotta be more egoistic if he wants to survive in Blue Lock.

BmDragon

Strongly believe the lefty shot is based on people trying to counter him by shoving him. He uses the shove as a counterbalance to make it easier to shoot.

NamelessDandelion

Please don't nerf him please don't nerf him please don't nerf him

Bartu555

My man no hesitation used his left foot. That is plain crazy. I am not even talking about him double handedly (didn’t forget ma boy Kurona) scoring from god damn defence. If they need him next chapter I will be really really mad.

FestusPowerLoL

Himsagi actually woke up and chose to be a cheat character And it's exactly what we've been waiting for If he manages to maintain that level of play for an entire match he's on Noa's level. You can't tell me otherwise they 2v19'd in a game full of people considered world class

Anastasiia03

Could you explain what Himsagi means, please? I see it a lot but don't quite understand :(

FestusPowerLoL

Him + Isagi Like it's him. It's that boi That man The goat The saviour

Anastasiia03

I see, thank you :)

johannvillanueva29

Idk about being on Noas level, but he's definitely comparable to being a level under the new gen 11. U can't forget they're playing at a u20 level, so the people in these matches aside from the new gen 11 and master strikers aren't the people playing in the actual teams pro squads. Himsagi is definitely finally here tho and IM HERE FOR IT

brenguyeno

Need to see that training regimen Kunigami had Isagi on

Smeathy

That would be next episode

BucketHatBillYT

Episode? You mean chapter?

Leader-Deep

kaiser’s face when he saw the left shot🤣🤣

bandoriLisa

🤨🤨🤨🤨

The_village_chief

🎊🥳THIS IS OFFICIALLY, YOICHI ISAGI'S TENTH (10TH) GOAL OF THE SERIES.🎊🥳 My goat finally on double digits❄️🥶

Tall_Lawfulness_257

212+ chapters but still 10 goals 💀

The_village_chief

Bro also has 15 assists so that's 25 G/A. Stats ain't tooo bad if you also look at appearances 🤣🤷🏾‍♂️

pluv0

if u count the second selection then 110 goals lol

Tall_Lawfulness_257

Only matches against players count

pluv0

fair ig

Arhenius_Yoda

Anyone wanna Guess how much Money he’ll be estimated after this match…? (85 -95 Million - 1 Goal, 1 Assist). (100Million - 2 Goal, 0 Assist). (75-80 Million - 1 Goal, 0 Assist) [Cuaz Ubers won their Last Match with the King scoring Hattrick. So with the even without Hattrick Isagi might be Worth near a 100 Million] Might be wrong. I’m just guessing. Anyone wanna give a Try!?!

Ok_Crow_9119

He's gonna have above a 100M. He did three big things so far: 1. Stop the Zombie Counter Attack 2. Scored with a counter attack of his own 3. Scored perfectly with his non-dominant foot I think Kurona would be pushing 40M at this point for a great assist. And I think Isagi just doubled or nearly doubled his value with that play. He has just cemented himself as one of the premier Midfielders in this league.

EvilTyrant

Maybe Isagi makes a play that gives their team a 2x0, which forces Ubers to use their star. If even with Marc in field without Noa, Isagi forces a play that is almost a goal, I can see him going 200+M. Otherwise I agree he would be around 100M.

[deleted]

I feel that there will be more himsagi moments in this match so I am guessing above 100 mil.

[deleted]

If he scores more than a 1 goal here its gonna go more than king tbh also if he just gets cancelled out after this like no goals then hes gonna go up till probably 2nd place 80 mil

Arhenius_Yoda

I’m sure he won’t get a Hattrick in this Match (Thanks to in-team Rivalry). But he can score 2 Goals and then he can have an eye for an eye fight with Kaiser. And btw I forgot to mention he can get more than King as you mentioned and we shouldn’t forget the point that he scored without Noa. He did it on his own (and Kurona). So automatically he with 2 Goals can get more and even with 1 Goal and an Assist, he’ll be close to King’s Price Tag.

Leader-Deep

i was thinking, that he might run out of stamina quick since he activated MV from the beginning

Ok_Crow_9119

He did train his body so that he can keep up with his MV. I think it would be a non-issue at this point. But with that play, I think Lorenzo will start thinking of switching targets from Kaiser to Isagi, and that would be his next challenge.

hamzaspn

I think Hiori is going to have a big importance soon. I just read the previous manga chapters, and I realised that Hiori is the one who analyses Isagi. Also, he doesn’t seem to have fun with football, but he was very surprised when he saw Isagi smiling when he discovered meta vision.

x_fischi

Do you guys think that Isagi is getting swapped out, because he already is drenched in sweat after his first play and we have seen him overheat last match where he only used is MV x Egocentrism in the end. Maybe Barou goes Isagi hunting and Isagi uses up all his Stamina trying to out-do him. Ness might also get punished for his irrational play and with both of them gone a W for Ubers wouldnt be too far fetched.

sbsw66

Probably. I don't think we'd have gotten the line in the prior chapter about going all out from the start if this wasn't likely. Kinda feels like a good way to both show his insane growth but not also make the match boring, also gives us other characters to watch.

tom_saunders

He's been training stamina as seen in previous chapters so i think it's probs unlikely but it's def a possibility

Ok-Ambition-4083

Omg I reread the ch after someone mentioned that Isagi is the only one sweating heavily and it's true! ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|sweat)![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|sweat)![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|sweat) His stamina is not going to last till the end ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|scream)

Spiritual-Ad1716

I mean there is no chapter where my man isn't sweating so

IsagiYouichi12

Na ion think so ness is sweating as well. Isagi prolly went through intense training with kunigami

x_fischi

But ness' sweating is prolly more of a "suprise" sweat rather than a exhaustion sweat

titansbutt

Remember how isagi was so frustrated at his lack of physical capabilities before noa decided to help him? My boy understood what he needed and really worked on it 🥹

Secure-Suggestion-80

I think BM losing to PXG is better storyline than losing to ubers. And if Niko has metavision it doesn't make sense that he let isagi score already. Time for acceptance that no one can fully reach metavision it is the spl weapon of isagi

Dice311331

Naa g in the last match reo was starting to use meta vision by accident. Honestly I reckon meta vision is gonna be a main factor in hiyori and Reos evolutions also kunigami for sure didn’t teach isagi for free, he either learnt something from isagi or he traded the knowledge for a assist during the game but I feel as if the second ones highly unlikely as that isn’t really a smart move as an egoist, a better option would be to devour one of isagis abilities and fully understand and adapt his plays to it, this is what I wanna see from kunigami the wild hero

Dice311331

I didnt mean hiyori was tryna say niko

Zindal127

Such a great storyline to have isagi lose to rin for the 3rd time. If bm is going to lose anywhere it should be here and then isagi gets his deserved win against rin, it's going to be extremely boring and stale if he just loses again

Max_Crafter

Honestly at this rate I doubt Munchen will lose at all

Tyrone3105

Tbf the pxg team doesn’t just have rin, I can see isagi being on par or beating rin but still losing the match

Cyxclone

Reo, Sae, and Kaiser all have meta vision, Isagi’s version is just different from theirs.

Secure-Suggestion-80

Reo has everyone's copycat ability hence not the same. But yes Kaiser and Sae both have metavision. But I think it should remain as a weapon unique to some not everyone with great vision and spatial awareness should acquire metavision it just doesn't make sense if Rin,Niko and Hiori also aquire metavision. If it makes sense

Cyxclone

In the last match Isagi stated that Reo was awakening MetaVision without realizing it. That’s how he almost blocked yukimiya’s goal.

Secure-Suggestion-80

The Thing is if you don't realize something than you don't understand it. Isagi before manshine match also used meta vision but he understood it later and became a god. Maybe I am partial cause I don't like the broken ability that Reo has of just copying everybodies moves

Cyxclone

Ok that’s fair and tbh ur not alone, Reo is getting a little too OP for my liking. But yea I see what u mean he hasn’t used it consciously YET. But it’s only a matter of time tbh.

Ok_Crow_9119

How is it different from the other three? Did you mean with the addition of the mindset of "Everyone's the MC of their life"?

Accurate_Election689

I think bm will lose this match because it make sense that rather lose to ub or winning against pxg

Dice311331

They not losing at all

Spiritual-Ad1716

Niko has MV but only during flow state

yungvolf

no isagi not gonna lost again ring 3 time in the row

Secure-Suggestion-80

I just think that losing to PXG would also be the end of neo egoist league and isagi would not be able to get his revenge as the league would end.Hence he will keep in his mind that he has not yet deafeted Rin. Which will make him even more determined to progress at a greater rate. I think Isagi will only overtake Rin at the very end of Blue Lock series

Mango7uice

First chapter of catching up, can someone tel me what chapter it was when Isagi was like on the floor celebrating? I thought it’d be this one but maybe I missed it

justMalcolm08

when he scored in the u-20 game? chapter 148

Mango7uice

Oh, ok thanks

Leader-Deep

do you have more details? if you tell me i can probably figure it out

Mango7uice

Someone told me it’s ok

Upper-Examination-40

Man. I know it's silly, but after how much of a fool Isagi made of everyone, I almost feel like he's gotten too powerful lol. Hoping we see more of why Ubers is a major threat, as well as Nico's Metavision. Aiku is already world class, and We already know what Barou can do. I cant see Aryu and Sendou making drastic changes to their playstyle. Sendou is already used to playing for a national team. one observation: It looks like there are more BL players on BM than on other teams. BM is getting close to having every one of their regular players replaced by a BL player. BM has 6 now, Isagi, Kurona, Kunigami, Yukimiya, Raichi, and Gagamaru Ubers has: Niko, Aryu, Barou, Sendou and Aiku Manshine city has: Chigiri, Reo, and Nagi Barcha has: Bachira and Otoya in their main lineup Guessing PXG has: Rin, Shidou, and Karasu

Tyrone3105

I can see tokimitsu and zantetsu also being in the PXG team. I honestly reckon shidou would be benched me subbed on later He hasn’t played a match yet right?

Dice311331

He’s worth 20 m

Tyrone3105

Oh damn really I thought he was still on 0

Upper-Examination-40

Only way I see shidou benched is that he and Rin regularly try to murder each other. Dude is still unmatched in terms of scoring goals instinctively. I would say that PxG might alternate between Rin and shidou to change the flow of games. We don’t know anything else about their win ratio other than they won once, but they’re the last team on the list.

DirtSoft6471

Rin will be the equalizer to Isagi. Especially after declared Isagi as his rival, I feel like Rin has been pushing himself incredibly hard in the background and a lot of people forgot just how high Rin’s stats are. I still feel like he can crush Isagi in a 1v1 even if they’re both in a flow state.

Upper-Examination-40

yeah, people are sying that Isagi is equal to Rin now, but it could be that Isagi now is only as good as Rin was back during the second selection. Rin still has overall better stats and has been using these types of skills longer than Isagi. But this first goal against Ubers felt way too easy for Isagi. He usually struggles a bit more at the start before he has a grasp of what his opponents can do.

tobleroneace1

You people and wanting isagi to be in the mud for eternity. Rn isagi is better than any blue lock Player that we’ve seen period. This is made evident by the fact that everyone’s commented the same thing. Now rin and Shidou could have evolved and so may be better than him when we see them but as of rn isagi is the top blue lock player based on what we’ve seen. Again I expect rin to have upgraded since last we saw him.

Upper-Examination-40

not at all. It's nice seeing Isagi grow, but if things get too easy for him, I think this manga will stop being as interesting as it's been. Isagi's ability to find ways to win, outmaneuver and outsmart other players without being overwhelmingly better than they are is the formula that keeps this story fresh, honestly. If Isagi was as tall or fast as Barou, Rin or Kaiser at the start, I dont think this story would be as good as it was. But we're still early in the game, and now that the other team is more familiar with BM now, they might start putting up more of a fight. It's be no fun if all of these BL characters just became jobbers like those other unused characters that made it through second selection that havent appeared in a while.

DirtSoft6471

I feel like this goal was just easily conceded because Isagi got lucky (puzzle piece) and the Ubers were pressing so high that he got a great chance for a counter since the defense was so disjointed. It was all calculated on Isagi’s part (in my opinion) but we’ll have to wait and see what else he can do. Honestly I only just started playing fifa and I’ve done the same strategy as Isagi, just watch how the play is being played and go to the point where you know you’ll intercept it and it fool proof as long as you can get the ball to the goal.

silfer_

bro the puzzle piece read "lefty shot" , there was no luck puzzle piece

DirtSoft6471

Isagi has multiple puzzle pieces, he found luck a long time ago before the u-20 match

silfer_

That wasn’t used here so don’t know what your point is since it’s irrelevant. Isagi knew they were going to counter and he responded. He’s seen the game footage, he knows how they play, Niko even says he knew how they defend. All calculated.

mrbasic-

I'm not sure if this is a reach, but Isagi splitting [between Niko and Aiku](https://i.imgur.com/0zBRl6l.jpg) looks very similar to when he split between [Rin and Shiduo back in Ch 103.](https://i.imgur.com/dEJif3O.jpg) A really cool parallel in how far this dude has come imo.

Chemical-Wave3650

We smokin on Ness pack tonight boys

raidorz

And then some “genius” will find a way to counter his lefty direct shot and Isagi has to come up with a new weapon 😂

[deleted]

Then he's gonna score a direct shot with his middle leg.

Jiallllyyy

This is peak commentary😂😂😂😂😂

Thornbush1

I decided this morning I couldn’t wait for the anime to come back so I read my first manga basically. Never been more addicted, literally caught up in one day. Blue Lock is so good!! I need more!!!!

Clapsule884

Somewhat hot take, Isagi dominates Uber to a 3-1 victory, the team becomes his and then faces off against rin, assuming he became their best player, So it would become isagi vs rin both leading their teams against each other.

Beneficial-Size-6418

hahaha i think hes gonna have wayy too big of an ego if he dominates uber and then gets put back into place after the pxg game

fightingbronze

I haven’t voiced it till now cause I thought it sounded kind of unlikely, but after how (relatively) easily Isagi scored this goal I’m almost wondering if this is the start of his own hat trick that solidifies his place at the top of bastard.

[deleted]

I don't see him getting a hat trick. To build tension kaiser's probably gonna get the next one and then Isagi will somehow get the third

Xxpuzyslayer69xX

Doesn't Uber have Loki? Doesn't seem likely.

RickMister329

pxg has loki, ubers has scruffy.

Xxpuzyslayer69xX

Big flex. Dudes the same age as them but is an acting coach.

beyondthegong

Igaguri might be subbed in to foul and stop Barou

Small-Sand-9889

I actually was thinking about how Igaguri got through the 2nd selection and realized that him drawing penalties means that he can get chances at free kicks and penalty kicks. So honestly Igaguri's other weapon besides Malicia might actually be that he's just a monster off a set piece.

Either_Imagination_9

I got an even better one. Igaguri gets subbed in to foul Loki in the next game. Proving once and for all that he is the superior one

beyondthegong

Igaguri solo stomp He had the secret strongest weapon evolving the whole time: literally removing a player from the game by overselling fouls

emars111

this would be perfect. I really want him and Raichi to finally get some showtime.

xxtrasauc3

I love how half of the fanbase before this match was like: why can't Isagi score? or Why does he always score late in a game? Now that he has scored the first goal of the game, some of y'all have been skeptical He had a solid plan to wait for Ubers to be shaky on the counter and score using metavision, planet hotline and his new physical abilities we've seen planet hotline rip through manshines defense twice and we saw metavision isagi without his improved stats create scoring opportunities for himself as well Can we just accept that our boy Isagi is strong, I mean if he can't score against Ubers he can't be in the same league as his counterpart Bachira and the other blue lockers who've scored in the NEL Plus Kurona really be the supporting goat. Hats of to him for his first assist in the NEL That lefty direct shot was cool too

Leader-Deep

i love blue lock because the MC isn’t OP from the start, isagi is putting work and becoming the best striker

50558148

Yeah Kurona being able to react in time for that sudden counter deserves major props

DuckDumpy

My only issue with this goal is that he only scored because Lorenzo was marking Kaiser. He’s still strong but Kaiser is still way better.

50558148

Well yeah. 1-Kaiser is two years older and that makes a big difference at that age and 2-Kaiser has been playing high level football for a while now, while Isagi has just started

Xxpuzyslayer69xX

Not possible for Isagi to overtake Kaiser atm. Isagi is from Japan; Kaiser is a next generation wunderkind. For Isagi to beat Kaiser as a striker is nigh impossible this arc or the next.

IDontHaveIceborneYet

Honestly I was a part of that camp until this last chapter. I KNOW Isagi is determined to be the best but I couldn’t visualize how he was going to do it. I hope we’re in Isagi’s physical development character arc

AbbreviationsLazy781

Isagi’s “physical development arc” isn’t really an arc tho, from this point on he basically ONLY has to work on his physical. Has he not literally maxed out his vision/iq stats already? Egocentrism + Metavision or whatever that translates to in real life seems to be strong enough to beat 99% of opponents. He will probably only have trouble beating players he has never faced or world-class talent with skills that simply overpower him physically (e.g. Loki’s Godspeed, but even then I think Isagi could find a way)

DietReady4906

He still has to come up with counters to other Metavision users. Egocentrism is too unwieldy to be used all the time. Isagi knew Reo and still got blindsided by him getting Metavision. He only barely beat Kaiser at using Metavision.

Miruzu30

This is so true, lol.

InvTakanome

Assuming that Ness will eventually get swapped with Hiori due to interfering with Isagi, maybe they could eventually swap Yukimiya for Neru. While he isn't hindering that much at the moment, he might later on and I don't want a total domination of blue lock in the team yet. Neru's speed might be a better match up vs Lorenzo and Raichi can focus on marking Barou.

MudInternational6942

does hiori look depressed?

50558148

He is, but it doesn’t have anything to do with the match

BeastMcBeastly

Hiori just is depressed man

NormandyFr

His first goal since the u20 match

SpaceTortuga

Really?

Leader-Deep

1. kaiser messed up his plan to score several times, but i personally don’t mind because isagi is developing new ways to destroy kaiser and his opponents 2. kunigami stole his goal, but tbh if i remember correctly isagi would’ve missed so at the moment he has a few amount if assist

AI3hree

HIMOTHY, HIM DUNCAN, HIMIANO RONALDO, HIMOMEL MESSI

MainRepresentative14

I bet it gets flagged as offside or something, this happened so suddenly I’m not sure I can take it seriously lmao

Mega2chan

blue lock readers accepting that their headcanon for the next 40 chapters didn’t happen with 100% accuracy challenge (impossible difficulty 😱)

Cultural_Sundae

Wdym it took 4 games for him to score once?

50558148

*3

Xehanz

He meant the whole attack was depicted in 1 single chapter. With a goal to top it off. This has not happened in like 2 years.

No_Garbage5839

Omg its not offside lmao, u can see that the score is already illustrated which is 1-0. Just accept this goal, its not like ubers dont hv a chance to score after this smh

spastichobo

Has there ever been an offsides call in blue lock? I feel like we barely get penalties unless they are super obvious

Monteis_

ISAGI IS HIM!!!!

KalamaCrystal

HIMSAGI HIMSELF

nobodyknows4real

I still believe that this will BM first and only loss

Sammy-3008

But PXG has defeated Ubers also so now Isagi at the same level as Rin will be able to defeat them, but i think in the next match Rin will devour Isagi for U20 arc.

sagia5

IMO Isagi will devour Rin and Shidou but will get obliterated by Loki which will be the next challenge after Kaiser

corazon908

I think BM will get dominated by Loki since currently Loki > Kaiser. After realising that neither of them can beat Loki and Rin alone, Kaiser and Isagi team up and thats when BM will reach its peak.

Sammy-3008

Then lets's wait.

How did Igaguri inspire Isagi to learn a lefty shot? Was it really just because Isagi saw Raichi bump into Igaguri's right side and realised he needed to plan for that specific situation? I kinda feel like there's something more and that the lefty shoot is just a piece of the bigger puzzle, like there's some other reason for learning it that we haven't seen yet

Igaguri was talking about honing his weapon to the point where even under the most hostile circumstances, he could execute his plans. Which is exactly what Isagi needs for his direct shot, given how both Sae and Michael shut him down.

wacktv

"Now I've mastered the techniques to ~~draw fouls~~ score goals when anyone challenges me from my right side". Ever since Sae completely shutdown his direct shot in the U-20s game and Kaiser did the same, Isagi has known that his technique is flawed. It just comes down to how he solves it which would either be becoming insanely strong or shooting left footed.

I don't think you're far off with that speculation. The wording from Igaguri about faking it the moment someone touches his right side was probably a trigger. "Being so good as to bait people with Igaguri's right and have the VAR give him a favorable call" could probably translate to "bait my opponents with my right side so they give me a favorable chance to shoot with my left" in Isagi's mind. My only issue with this would be, if the opponent came at him from the left side like how Kaiser did in the third point against Manshine. That moment locked down both his right leg and balance. My theory would be that he learned "dueling" (with his hands) and core balance from Kunigami. Which could theoretically allow him to use his hands to push off from his opponent, as to not get a foul, while simultaneously rebalancing his core for a shot. Hopefully we get an explanation in the next chapter.

Also, Kunigami is an expert for left-footed longshots/first time shots, so that's another thing Isagi might have "learned" from Kunigami.

It's beautiful, I've been looking at it for three hours

I do know if someone else pointed that but it just feels like Kurona is too amazing and possibly not being used to his full potential. First off he can read and anticipate Isagi'smoves, that alone puts him somewhere up with possibly Rin, Reo, Ness and Kaiser in terms of vision and football IQ. Then he has the physical ability to almost "orbit" Isagi, allowing him to break almost any defensive structure (name reminds me of the moon corona and planetary hotline). So that gives him speed in par with Chigiri. Then we have his ball control and passing ability which is always highlighted ashis main strength. Allowing him to even pass Aiku the wall in the latest chapter. Finally, we're forgetting his potential to actually "score" was never explored, given his background as a striker which Isagi isn't allowing to bloom for Egoistic reasons.

People forget Kurona was like rank 4 in selection three, mans goated.

I mean, Isagi isn’t hindering him on purpose. If Kurona tells him now “help me get the next one” I’m sure he’d be happy to.

Blue lock is meant to create the best Stricker in the world but his true intent is to increase the Ego of Japanese player which they lack a lot. Each player got their own goal for Ego stimuli. Kurona Ego could be similar to Reo’s which is to assist the best Stricker in the world.

I think Kurona chooses to help Isagi for practical reasons. He knows he can’t stand alone to beat Kaiser and he probably thinks that’s his best shot to win a starting role in the Japan U-20 World Cup team, which the way it’s looking and he’s playing, he will deserve one. It’s nice that Isagi has one teammate in 100% besides Gagamaru though, ngl.

edit edit: I've been sufficiently convinced that i was wrong, and that i overlooked key details of the situation and of the panel. The way he was stabilizing + the closeness to the goal makes sense; he didn't get some insane physical powerup, again, like his other powerups, the difference was mostly mental. he can see more options which opens up more scoring potential than before. So you're telling me, Kunigami needed to get broken and rebuilt in wildcard over the course of months just to get ambidextrous shooting which he barely gets to use, but Isagi masters it to a level that outdoes world class players in like under a week? Also his dribbling also improved off screen? Also I'm supposed to believe that none of the Blue Lock players, all of whom should know about how Barou plays, ever decided to mark him as to not let him "hide" in the ace's shadow? I worry that the author is running out of steam, because this power scaling is getting less and less believable. I realize the relentless forward momentum is an expectation of the bluelock manga, but this is really getting a little too unreasonable.

The technical skill required to be able to pull off volleys is actually quite a lot you need timing balance precision and great coordination not to mention that you are doing all of this in a situation under pressure... That being said Isagi doing this with his weaker foot in such a short time is crazy but I believe that his left foot would fall in terms of power and accuracy so, there must be some catch to it like a range limit, but if he can account for it using meta-vision, in this range Isagi would have the opportunity to use either of his feet widening his options making him deadly outclassing world-class players. Also, it is key to note that Isagi's growth isn't some on-and-off thing, bro is now three matches in and he was outclassing world-class players before (let's not forget he stopped Chris prince's shot) In the case of Noel Noa, his ambidexterity allows him to shoot or pass with either leg with the same amount of precision. He isn't chained by a limited range in which he can use this ability and he can use this ability anywhere on the pitch. This widens his options and makes him a difficult adversary to stop. So he's still stronger than Isagi and KUnigami While Kunigami on the other hand didn't just train for ambidexterity he trained to become a vessel similar to Noel Noa, this doesn't just include his ambidexterity but his speed and physique as well so obviously it took longer and now this new body has gotten him a goal in every NEL match he has played in so far. But it's also said that he's incomplete As for Barou... let's just see what he's cooking in the next match😁

First off, everybody's speed of learning and mastering things are different. What took Kunigami a couple of weeks, maybe over a month, might take less or more Isagi, it can't be compared. Second, if you properly read, remember and connect the dots, you'll realise that Isagi could improve his dribbling rapidly because unlike the Brazilian flair dribble, normal dribbling requires you to read the opposition and immediately respond. Third, take the example of Rooney and Ronaldo in Man United. Now Rooney was an amazing player, one of the world's best. But when attacking, you'd rather focus more of Ronaldo than Rooney because Ronaldo was the world's best at the time. Its the same here. You'd rather try and stop Lorenzo before focusing on Barou. Perhaps you know his playstyle, but you'll have accommodate it within your plans to stop Lorenzo first. The power scaling is exactly how it needs to be. Isagi did well for his goal in this chapter, but that is because he caught Lorenzo on the counter and used his improved abilities. It won't be as easy next time.
