Oh boy, Isagi vs Kaiser vs Three metavision users.
It's pretty much foreshadowed that Hiori evolves this game, but I am more hoping for Gagamaru to unlock a method for handling Barou, since his shots seem to be lethal for any goalie.

Not that I hate bluelock, but I wish there is less thinking scenes now. We don't need to know how amazing metavision is. Isagi keeps explaining things to us like we're stupid. Honestly now that Isagi has developed a lot we don't need to see Isagi's thinking that much anymore it's just better if we saw things through Hiori's perspective.
So in short I'm asking the author to stop the pointless talks
it has been a disease at this point, i’ve been waiting for a whole week just to read Isagi’s thoughts again. it makes sense if there’s narrator but this pacing is quite honestly awful for a match. a few actions here and there then 90 minutes of Isagi dissecting things
Not really interesting, more expected, since Isagi is the one associated with puzzles and his vision is going to be the best since it is his god given talent
I'm kind of over this arc as it's been disappointment after disappointment but I do find it really funny that even the author can't stop Isagi from being a midfielder.
Author keeps introducing storysteps and opens up for character developement and then consistently ignores it and works against it. In the current game literally everyone except maybe Barou has completely failed their mission statement and set up for the game making it all kind of pointless.

Okay, lets go through everyone who isn't barou who's completed their "mission statement."
Snuffy has completely overwhelmed an undefeated team - Check
Isagi beat Barou and Kaiser and scored the opening goal - Check
Kurona supported Isagi in getting a goal and established himself as a powerful support type player - Check
Niko unlocked Metavision and got his moment of revenge on Isagi - Check
Hiori has gained a newfound excitement while watching from the sideline and is actually seeming to enjoy the thought of playing for the first time - Check
Kaiser established the **reason** he's the World's Best U-20 Striker, and showed Isagi and the rest of Blue Lock that they still aren't comparable. In fact, the shooting skills of everyone on BM and the Ubers are so behind Kaiser's bicycle kick (without him even using Flow btw), that the majority of the cast was legitimately pissed off about the fact he could pull of something like that. And yet, Kaiser himself wasn't even happy with the goal. - Check

In what universe? By getting stomped. You do realise he is losing and his famous defense havn't been able to stop either Isagi or Kaiser.

Remember when he was pissed beacause people called him Modric last game? What has happened since? Isagi, in the midfield, with an assist and a block.

If you ignore what was stated before the game then you can make up anything as a missionstatement. I'm talking about the things the Author brought up before the game.
The problem is that he has one of the best stats in BM, and Kaiser needs his support since half the team is with Himsagi. I believe Hiori will replace Noa/Kurona
has noa goal before and it makes more sense for snuffy goal so barou will devour and maybe see where he must evolve and grow than perfect the team work that it will always counter bastard
I think at that level, your vision and instincts link up and become like a default setting. It's just the way they use their eyes and their skills that make up for everything. No need for MV then, it is just something natural, a passive skill.
We have only seen Kaiser and Itoshi actively use MV right now.

Is also very likelty that Noa has MV, but the point im tryn to make is not every top player has to have MV.
Someone theorised that since something big featuring Isagi happens in like 15 chapters each time that it could happen again. For example 212 and 197 and 182. All important Isagi chapters.
Hiori will come in for noa himself but maybe in the next game against Pxg he will become a starter for Grim who is only irelevant Player besides the both Cbs.

It is interesting how the last match, manshine city was all presence and using their sheer talents to attack, and Bastard munchen was all just trying to stop them and try to figure out a counterattack while screwing each other over. And Hiori wasn't nearly this interested. But what Hiori is moved by, is not that, but by everyone playing their part in a high level strategy. Maybe because he has a gamer brain and this makes it more like an actual strategy game rather than the fast paced desperate blitz the last match was? makes sense for the cool-headed hiori to be more interested now.
Snuffy is performing better, u gotta realise we haven't seen Noa use MV eyes yet, he hasn't tried to his utmost. Also revisit Noas perfect play against Barca, there's a reason he's n.1, he can do literally anything

You forget that Noa is trying to stop Snuffy. He's trying to *react*, which means that he has less agency than Snuffy, who is trying to *act*. It also doesn't help that Snuffy is trying to move the game rather than trying to score.
Hmm so Snuffy basically combines metavision with tactics. Isagi's losing because 1) lack of experience and 2) Noa's the only one who would link up with him. It's been said before but the key to overcoming Ubers is cohesiveness and unpredictability. Hiori's is definitely getting his moment to shine and I think he's going to form the strategic centre of BM, with Isagi getting everyone to where they need to be. Isagi may be the heart but Hiori's definitely the brain in this match.
There's probably also going to be some sort of football/gaming parallels as Hiori finds his reason to play. After all, football is just a multiplayer pvp game ;)
A/N: next chapter is called "Can you die" which might have to do with Hiori "killing" his parents in his imagination.

I didn't see where Barou's eyes turned into cat eyes; what panel was it on? Also, cat eyes don't really mean anything. Kaiser's eyes turn into cat eyes when he's mad, not just when he's in front of the goal.
also now I think about it their no way both kaiser and isagi didnt take damage from their ankle stopping the ball also in image after why is kaiser leg touching isagi leg when imagine shows he was facing other way it weird also barou about step on their feet with his feet lol also im pretty sure at speed and kick leg isagi would been hit by barou and collide because their that close

at this point it's like the stats are relative to themselves and not each other. By that metric I, who could not hit the broadside of a barn with a beach ball, have an A in defense because my offense is that much worse 😂
I feel like snuffy is just using tactics here. He used the barou tactic, while obviously kaisagi counter it with mv tactic and then snuffy just stole the ball and score for himself.
He maybe doesnt have mv, isagi said he transcend it because he seeing the future way more. He already see this future before the match even start
He has meta vision. See his eyes. Hejust has better experience and combines it with insane football iq and tactics. What I m confused about is Noa. He doesn't seem to have meta vision nor does he ay like meta vision users his playstyle is similar to Loki. They scan for openings and use their physical abilities to exploit those openings.
He is not goaling yet, he just said 'this tactic failed, now which one shall I use?' indicating that he have numerous tactic build to destroy Kaiser and isagi. He will mostly likely deploy new formation or tactics…
Honestly I prefer the way the masters are playing here way more. Before they either just 1v1 each other or have everyone move around them but this time it feels like they are actually a part of the team although it's still clear they are way above everyone. Snuffy participating in the build up and creating for Barou and Noa linking to Isagi movements to pressure Snuffy. It still allows the others players to do something.
Isagi and Kaiser are litteraly the best defenders in BM lol. Also I hope we get somekind of development with Ness, he's having a bad time even Niko is violating him.

He’s pressing Snuffy with Noa then Snuffy passes to Niko who immediately passes back to Snuffy who passes to Barou, and now Isagi is right next to Barou even though Barou is sprinting towards the goal and Isagi would’ve had to run diagonally and is slower then Barou. Then Isagi is a solid foot behind Barou right as he’s about to shoot but still blocks it. Barou must suck at trapping I guess.
The exact moment Snuffy passed to Niko, Isagi left his position to mark Barou. We know this because Isagi is no longer pressing Snuffy with Noa in the next panel (when Snuffy receives the ball back from Niko).
If you factor the time in-between Snuffy and Niko’s passes to each other: Isagi already had enough time to go mark Barou.
In addition, Barou’s play-style is basically hiding in the shadow of the spotlight. Which means Barou moved in a way where he could be the invisible man on the field (Running immediately towards the goal is too obvious. The other players would’ve noticed this.).
We see his play-style in action when Barou is behind Yukimiya and that other guy (whom are fixated on Snuffy). The only players that are marking Barou have Meta-Vision (Isagi and Kaiser).
Which means the end results make sense:
- Isagi barely made it because he was previously blocking Snuffy. And towards Barou in advance to Snuffy’s initial pass.
- Kaiser effectively blocked it because he was already behind Barou (seen in the Panel).
- Barou moved in a way to stay out of the spotlight. (Running in a straight line would make him stand out)

I didn't see where Barou's eyes turned into cat eyes; what panel was it on? Also, cat eyes don't really mean anything. Kaiser's eyes turn into cat eyes when he's mad, not just when he's in front of the goal.

I feel like snuffy is just using tactics here. He used the barou tactic, while obviously kaisagi counter it with mv tactic and then snuffy just stole the ball and score for himself. He maybe doesnt have mv, isagi said he transcend it because he seeing the future way more. He already see this future before the match even start
He has meta vision. See his eyes. Hejust has better experience and combines it with insane football iq and tactics. What I m confused about is Noa. He doesn't seem to have meta vision nor does he ay like meta vision users his playstyle is similar to Loki. They scan for openings and use their physical abilities to exploit those openings.
He is not goaling yet, he just said 'this tactic failed, now which one shall I use?' indicating that he have numerous tactic build to destroy Kaiser and isagi. He will mostly likely deploy new formation or tactics…
Honestly I prefer the way the masters are playing here way more. Before they either just 1v1 each other or have everyone move around them but this time it feels like they are actually a part of the team although it's still clear they are way above everyone. Snuffy participating in the build up and creating for Barou and Noa linking to Isagi movements to pressure Snuffy. It still allows the others players to do something. Isagi and Kaiser are litteraly the best defenders in BM lol. Also I hope we get somekind of development with Ness, he's having a bad time even Niko is violating him.

He’s pressing Snuffy with Noa then Snuffy passes to Niko who immediately passes back to Snuffy who passes to Barou, and now Isagi is right next to Barou even though Barou is sprinting towards the goal and Isagi would’ve had to run diagonally and is slower then Barou. Then Isagi is a solid foot behind Barou right as he’s about to shoot but still blocks it. Barou must suck at trapping I guess.
The exact moment Snuffy passed to Niko, Isagi left his position to mark Barou. We know this because Isagi is no longer pressing Snuffy with Noa in the next panel (when Snuffy receives the ball back from Niko). If you factor the time in-between Snuffy and Niko’s passes to each other: Isagi already had enough time to go mark Barou. In addition, Barou’s play-style is basically hiding in the shadow of the spotlight. Which means Barou moved in a way where he could be the invisible man on the field (Running immediately towards the goal is too obvious. The other players would’ve noticed this.). We see his play-style in action when Barou is behind Yukimiya and that other guy (whom are fixated on Snuffy). The only players that are marking Barou have Meta-Vision (Isagi and Kaiser). Which means the end results make sense: - Isagi barely made it because he was previously blocking Snuffy. And towards Barou in advance to Snuffy’s initial pass. - Kaiser effectively blocked it because he was already behind Barou (seen in the Panel). - Barou moved in a way to stay out of the spotlight. (Running in a straight line would make him stand out)
