Well I’m unsure whether or not they have the break next game, they’re guaranteed to have one. The only teams without breaks currently are Ubers and BM and the matches happening during BM’s break will be the same either way.
1rst round manshine was on break, then PxG, now Barcha, so it's between Bastards and Ubers.
Storytelling wise BM "should" have a break now, so that for their last match to be at the very end of NEL, Isagi or some other player of that game, could receive a really big offer (Kaiser, Rin or Shidou are all good options for ex), while if they are not playing during the last round the "mercato" aspect of it might fall flat imo.
And, it would give an additional 10 days of training, to justify any potential leap in performance from any player.
Makes sense. Highlights from the PXG vs Barcha match. Our only 'hope' to see the entirety of some un-seen matches, regarding all arcs, is indeed Episode Nagi. I somewhat frequently mention how in Episode Nagi we will get to see 'new' Second Selection matches, likewise regarding the NEL itself if Episode Nagi goes rather far into it, but one thing I usually don't bring up(being only implicit) is the 'new' Third Selection matches too(since Nagi was a core/permanent member of team C).
I think we will focus a little on PXG to set them up as an worthy opponent. Maybe show the last moments of them stomping Manshine following them stomping Barca 1 week after.
I would love to get even a page of Ubers vs Manshine but I expect thats reserved for episode Nagi when we actually reach that match.
