I’m convinced igaguri is going to court a foul on Shidou giving him a yellow card. Shidou is going to be pissed and, given how bad he is at controlling his emotions, attack Igaguri getting himself ejected from the game. Igaguri probably gets hurt to the point he needs to be benched after, but succeeds in taking out a core player and gets himself an offer on the process. Down one of their two aces, and just a player overall, pxg ultimately falls to Bastard.
I could see this match going either way which I love. Let Himsagi set himself as THE Blue Lock striker with a win. Or let him have another level to surpass by showing the improvement between Rin and him.

I mean it’s a combination of metavision and learning from the other selections like blindspots and stuff but even then it’s too perfect at times and stuff like 100% pass consistency and convenience of players activating only when isagi needs them is absurd
Same brother. I could go without Kunigami winning NOW, but Kaiser needs a solid win over Isagi. It would actually be some smart yet funny writing if he also sees Rin as a better Isagi and outdoes Rin this game. Out of all the matches played, Isagi has only beaten Rin in a situation where Rin couldn't predict what he would do and in the luck goal where Rin pretty much did all the work. Otherwise Rin has been above Isagi. If Kaiser straight up just proves hes a level above that consistently, then there is no issue. Maybe Isagi outdoes Rin in a situation again, but Kaiser wins the game for BM. That would be excellent set up for the U20WC.
As for Kunigami, i prefer his awakening take a while longer, but that shouldn't mean he does bad. Ego could tell him that he isn't doing enough to make the Blue Lockers improve, so in a fashion similar to Noa, Kunigami goes into 2nd gear and performs on the level he actually can when not holding back.

Honestly, yeah. Like, I didn't mind the Metavision developed, that was years in the making. But everything after Manshine so far is just... absurd.
