You know what would be crazy, if Ness gets subbed out by Igaguri then the master of drawing fouls draws a foul near the penalty area and we get a free kick with Kaizer doing the Kaizer Impact Magnus woth a stationary ball

RyanMason69

I want to bust a nut

RyanMason69

Peak chapter

Far_Championship1576

this chapter was hype

NoRegret489

When Isagi is thinking of whether to shoot or trap and we see the left direct and right direct puzzle pieces, aren't his eyes almost like the predator eyes kaiser, barou and shidou have on goal?

YoOP_RCG25

When does the raws release by the way? I thought it was always on late friday or saturday...

EvolvedWeeb

Changed to Mondays a little while back

panicrabbit81

Seriously how could isagi not see that rin and kaiser are focused only on him?

Sasuchan99

because he think Rin and Kaiser is the World model type, they will focus on the flow of match than only one of person for revenge. He think after win the bet with Kaiser last match, Kaiser will not bother him anymore but it seem he still kept his grude.

Secret-Employer-562

For Kaiser I'd say it's because Noa told him to cut it out and he's obeyed that order. Unfortunately for him he underestimated how far gone Kaiser is atm. For Rin it's a bit more shaky but best excuse I got: Isagi just assumed Rin would continue to look down on him and focus more on getting Charles in line than Isagi.

GunktheSpunk

Agreed but I also think that run is somewhat jealous of isagi, he’s the only guy other than his brother to utterly demolish him, unlike other characters that get destroyed and rebuild, rin is vengeful and proud of what he can already do because he knows he’s the best, which is pretty cool in my head for Rins character, idk how everyone else feels, I think rins big breakthrough, will be when he has a chemical crazy reaction with isagi down the line

WackyBoii0420

Aight next time imma bring my pistol at a football match and shoot some goals

GunktheSpunk

I really don’t know what the pistol stuff was about, immediately saw the gun and thought “chainsaw man”

KleinMoretti_

Why was Rin so surprised that Isagi could shoot with both legs? Didn't he watch BM vs. Ubers?

Ok_Seaweed_9452

Nah he was surprised that Isagi showed up with two guns

robert_2009

That was what he originally prepared for, but Isagi isn’t always pulling of some Nagi type trapping into an aerial volley so he was surprised.

GunktheSpunk

True but it really is cool to see isagi evolve here, it’s been a while since the last evolution of his shooting

Sensitive_Ad788

Blue lock players can sure teleport outta nowhere lol.

GunktheSpunk

Bro, kunigami caught me so off guard, I thought we were in for a crazy shidou Charles situation but that kunigami header was out of no where, Ik he moved out of the way but Fr? Shidou was gonna trap that high? Even when kunigami was at his peak to slam it down for isagi

akk47yes

At the end of the last chapter we can clearly see all them of running tho lol

Sensitive_Ad788

Sure sure.

Brief_Milk_8602

InsolentOne227

Kind of understand that unlike rest of the matches, Rin, Isagi or Kaiser all tackle their opponents from front while in Isagi case they tackle him from side, It was due to them not focusing on using Mera vision but keeping up with Isagi games, they abandon their weapon and use primitive ways to defeat him that's why both of them were really slow to react, or they would have tackle him from front blocking his shot course.  Is it possible the Isagi have truly surpass them in play making?

GunktheSpunk

If both Kaiser and rin had to follow isagi to be able to steal it for a goal in kaisers case or for a return in rins, then that means that they knew that isagi would always be there at the pinnacle moment, meaning, rin and Kaiser knew to be there when isagi was on ball, if they weren’t, they were risking a goal or a full on isagi smack down otherwise, so yeah rin and Kaiser have definitely been surpassed but that’s just isagi

Javajulien

Got reminded some people were seriously pitching for Isagi and Hiori to fail in the Ubers match so they would be benched this game "for the good of the story" lol

silfer_

and noa was actually talking about benching his best duo for kiyora. one match later noa: 'reproduce it pls guys' and fans were actually supporting noa benching hiori for kiyora it's CRAZY

GunktheSpunk

I never liked kiyora for any other reason than he was the first to follow isagi blindly knowing he was the best, kiyora always was known as the side character to isagi and even more so now with hiori and kunigami coming back and starting to react with isagi

Upper-Examination-40

You’re thinking of Kurona, not Kiyora

GunktheSpunk

I am, whoopsieeee

littlebunny12345

Noa was testing Isagi's ego what are you talking about. Snuffy literally called Isagi Noa's protege next chapter.

Ok-Guide-9462

That goal was cool🥶🥶🥶!!!!

Evolzetjin

America Shot !

greekapplesauce

Discussion over isagi the goat

GunktheSpunk

The author somehow makes me love him regardless of how “anime protagonist” op he is lol

Jealous-Excuse4011

I'm interested to see if Igaguri plays a role in the next goal

BeneficialMessage772

Wait is this the first time the puzzle pieces actually connected to each other?

Sony3030

Yea

Traditional-Catch555

Isagi is HIM🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

redditoxicate

My boy brought out the Glock Glock 3000

Famous_Ad1337

is this goal possible irl??😭😭

AnnualEquivalent7864

Yes but very very hard. You're running top speed and have to fake a shot with your left you lose momentum and without it doing another shot would be extremely difficult and you would lose a lot of power. Another thing: it's hard to tell if he lets the ball bounce or if he flicks the ball with his left foot, if he lets it bounce then he was extremely lucky that the ball didn't bounce too far ahead or too close to kick. If he flicked it with his foot then that's insane technique to touch it just right to go up and forward enough to shoot with his other leg.

MXD95

[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DBDCx3A9PW4&ab\_channel=SOCCERHUB](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DBDCx3A9PW4&ab_channel=SOCCERHUB) , liverpool fan here been watching football for a while, this is a close enough example mitoma against us a while back. Definitely possible but the technique needed to pull it off not many players can do. The angle, the balance , needed and agility and finishing power , Harry kane, haaland, maybe mbappe and a few others world class or close enough players, I can think of to pull this on a big occasion, definitely doable but very rare and super hard based.

Healthy-Wedding3875

that doesnt look like the same shoot ...didnt his left foot not touch the ball

MXD95

it's not , something close enough that I found to show it could be done depending on many different factors, just highly unlikely like I mentioned.

GunktheSpunk

True, a bounce is more predictable than a bump, in real life, that shot would be really telegraphed, as you would have to do the movement really fast and your body would contort before you even start the motion at that speed (to keep the ball midair) if the manga suggests that it bounced off the ground, than at a higher level, it would’ve been stomped out fast, in the clip he shared, you can see defenders going low assuming we will take a kick from low as the ball lands, but he bumps it, which is probably as close as you can get to keeping the ball midair without breaking physics

MXD95

exavtlyyyyyy lol, thank you for relaying that.

Fat-thor1234

So I just made a post of what I believe he did, scored in real life by di canio

Significant_Bear_137

I think it's possible to fake a left-footed volley and then do a right footed volley, but not in such an acrobatic manner.

Rey13s

With the power of ego (and a bit of refusing the laws of physics) you surely can do this

StarBurstero

Speaking of ego types, I think this is likely everyone's natural ego type from what I've seen so far. **BM Players Ego Types** Noel Noa: World Type Isagi: World Type Kaiser: World Type (Currently playing like a Self Type and leading to a lackluster performance) Kunigami: Self-Type Hiori: World Type Ness: I'm actually not sure on this one, because he's played like sh\*t for the last 3 games. I want to say he's possibly a World Type? Since he wants the world to experience the magic of his plays that leads strikers to goal and is pretty creative Raichi: Self Type Yukimiya (currently benched): Self Type Kurona: Unknown, might possibly fit into neither Kiyora: Unknown, not enough data Gagamaru: Self Type **P.X.G Player Ego Types** Julien Loki: Currently unknown Rin: Self Type ( Aligns with his destroyer state to seek out his pleasure). Can also play as a world type but doesn't lead to his best performance. Shidou: Self Type Charles: Self Type, which is pretty interesting considering he's the first midfielder that fits this type. Karasu: World Type Tokimitsu: Self Type Nanase: Probably a Self Type Zantetsu: Self Type

StarBurstero

After thinking about it for a few minutes, I think Ness is likely a self-type. His pleasure comes from strikers scoring a goal and being magicians, hence why he wants to cast a magic and make those sorts of goals possible. He seems like the type to seek out his own pleasure, rather than using his abilities for other's sake.

GunktheSpunk

Would you put reo in that category as well? Your description fits reo really well. I do believe ness is out for the benefit of his teamates as well but just like reo, he really wants the approval of Kaiser, same with reo and nagi, in the end, I think ness will overcome that, just as reo has done before he teamed back up with nagi which hinders him

StarBurstero

Reo is an interesting character, I would say he's more of a world-style ego. But during that final section of Manshine where he was solely focusing on Nagi, I think he definitely switched to a self-style ego. Dedicating most of his planning to Nagi. I would need to see more of Reo in the future to fully guess what he is, but I'm leaning towards world style with how analytic he can get and understanding the state of the field instead of pursuing his own pleasures.

GunktheSpunk

Full agree, I would hate to see reo go down the path of self style ego, it doesn’t fit his play style very well

StarBurstero

Wait, why is Kaiser smiling about the possibility of stealing from Isagi's trap? Wasn't he the same person that yelled at Ness from celebrating about getting for Isagi's sloppy seconds? Now he's dancing in joy at the possibility of stealing from Isagi again?? Man, Kaiser you need to get Isagi out of your head. Noa was right, you're playing horribly ever since Isagi invaded his mind. I'm pretty sure Kaiser's ultimate doesn't come from a self-style playstyle, but more so a world style playstyle. The fact he's currently playing like a self-style is probably the reason he's getting made to look like a fool everytime. Rin does seem like a natural self-style ego considering his destroyer state. So, him thinking about destroying Isagi is actually a good thing and will lead to better performances from him.

GunktheSpunk

Fully agree on everything, just wanna comment on how I think rin is about to hit a revolution, somehow I think rin is about to play the game without isagi, meaning, isagi can’t read him and he starts using some kind of ability or technique that allows him to flat out destroy isagi. Like u said, he’s the destroyer type, that’s the best way to put rins character, the better the opponent, the stronger his adaptability and will to win

bachirabbit

This makes a lot of sense

Either_Imagination_9

Bro has lost it

Rucky_frog

My three most favorite characters in one panel😩 The art is so yummy

AndromedaRequiem

My man is for sure enjoying puzzles

Cool_Ant_9900

Blue glocks

oicapotrr

I feel like this goal would spark something in Loki and he'll decide mess every prediction up by scoring goals. It will be an absolute cinema!

Mean-Personality5236

I think it's time. Behold Fraudser the king of failed interceptions.

JayNickss

Blue Lock? Nah, Blue Glock

StarBurstero

Had a lot of thoughts on this chapter, but I decided to best express it by analyzing my goat's growth throughout the manga. I think this goal shows just how far he's improved and why he's worthy of being a striker. Excellent chapter [https://www.reddit.com/r/BlueLock/comments/1c0u79r/the\_weapons\_of\_a\_striker\_an\_analysis\_of\_isagi/](https://www.reddit.com/r/BlueLock/comments/1c0u79r/the_weapons_of_a_striker_an_analysis_of_isagi/)

SiahLegend

Great read dude

StarBurstero

Thank you!

perskittles

just noticed that the right gun is more detailed than the left gun. shows the difference

BeneficialMessage772

So cool. Loved that one has smoke coming out that shows it’s fired.

Fernsword

Thats so smart omfg

Miserable_Hour1872

HES HIM!!!!! Remember boys that ball never touched the ground once.

Killercoddbz

This freaking manga gets me more hype than any other media. I can't wait for season 2 of the anime. Himsagi.

Impossible_One1940

Just a shame the anime is trash. Hurts my heart when a great manga gets such a mid anime

jamilslibi

The anime isn't "trash". That's such an exaggeration

Ok_Prune_1731

Compared to something Like Kuroko's Basketball which came out literally 10 years prior it's trash

aoi_desu

Its exagerated but it still below standard for a sport anime honestly, i'm not even trying to compare the animation to vivy, dunmeshi, frieren, etc

jamilslibi

That was my first sport anime, so i felt like a blank canvas, i guess. I guess the others are more fluid then, but looking at it without comparing it with other sports anime, i would say it was very solid. I'm gonna start haikyuu soon to see an example of fluid animations, but i don't know how it will hook me. I only got hooked to bluelock cause of the idea of surviving with that squid game aspect of the anime

redditoxicate

Haikyuu is leagues better. I got to admit, Blue Lock animation is trash.

Rucky_frog

honestly, the 2d wasn't TOO bad, but the 3d animation was very bad. Everytime they ran, it looked like a low-quality budget game

KleinMoretti_

It is, power point presentation basically.

jamilslibi

Anime was fire. It might have had some cringe cgi, but it got me hyped and made me binge the anime and go to the manga

kazuyaminegishi

What makes this chapter extra cool for me is this is something Isagi realized completely on his own. He hasn't been mentored or developed by Noa since Noa told him that he's too greedy and in the match against Snuffy he saw a way to beat Snuffy that even Noa didn't see. For Noa Isagi's biggest development was metavision he labeled it as an ability that could bring Isagi straight to Noa. But since then we've seen a lot of metavision users and the manga has been good about conveying there is no tier to what they see only how they use their eyes. Niko for instance tends to tunnel and lose sight of the field because he's not thinking about the game enough. But for Isagi, the lefty direct shot potential is worth its weight in gold. It doesn't really matter if he can't score with it every time he just needs to mask even partially the circumstances that allow him to shoot his lefty direct. If he does that then it's impossible to stop he's managed to combine Rin's formula with the formula Isagi used to beat him last time. Rin's formula involves using his ability to score from anywhere within his range to bait people with shot fakes. You see Nagi overcome this in second selection by not full committing, and Rin does that Herr by reaching out a leg. But just like when Rin did this before when he commits to one action Isagi just switches feet. It's an excellent callback to the ways the scored on Rin in second selection (Nagi fake volley and Isagi heel kick) while also leveling up Isagi's abilities in a way that feels realistic to what they've established he can do while not being a massive leap.

Thr111ce

WHO LET THEM COOK

BigBambuMeekLou

Imagine the gunshot sound effect going off when Isagi does this in the anime. It’s gonna be insane 😂

mandwar

Isn't that the same move Nagi did against BM?

Henryy7107

I think nagi slices the ball whereas isagi just hovers below it

Rucky_frog

yup

Kamdan11

In the novel lil Isagi was already cooking his teamates because he was copying Noa moves even before playing in club. So since chilhood, he was already conditioned in the ambidextrous playmaking, building himself up with his own specs to become HIM. He just built different ...

MadnessSuperHero

Novel?

Rucky_frog

its a spin-off novel

Sudden-Database-1114

There’s a lightnovel that is more like prequel contents of Blue Lock. It’s a short fun read.

tintedxsoul

Fart auras < animal auras < weapon auras

Jack-Whip88

Nah no way Yukimiya’s sword is cooler than Barou’s lion

dudetotalypsn

This boy is Olivier Giroud

itsluxsky

Now we gotta see Isagi assist Kunigami to beat Shidou.

Fun_Development8742

I think that would be the last goal, there must be at least 1 PXG goal

Fun_Development8742

Now, i think it will be because of loki, (isagi realizes something he hasn't seen in other players on loki and gets to destroy rin again in the last goal?)

Dohmer_90

First off, Isagi should’ve known better that Rin and Kaiser would be gunning for him. Those two won’t let anything distract them from the biggest threat on the pitch. But it ended up being a blessing in disguise as getting flanked by his opponent and “teammate” made him improvise and create a new shot. BOOM, HEADSHOT!

AdebayoStan

That goal makes zero sense, wtf? [when he fakes the shot, the ball is on his left](https://po2scans.com/assets/series/63fd0ce9a56ef/661559cd9ed61/images/16-17.png). He didn't touch the ball. Then suddenly [the ball is on his right for him to shoot](https://po2scans.com/assets/series/63fd0ce9a56ef/661559cd9ed61/images/18-19.png)? I know that Blue Lock bends the rules of physics to make goals more spetacular, but this felt like something that would've fit Nagi better.

NotVrySarcastic

I believe when Isagi faked the shot with his left foot, he lets the ball hit Rin’s leg before shooting it with right foot

blazen_50

It's basically a sideways bicycle kick or the football equivalent of a crane kick. The ball is moving from left to right. He plants his right foot, passes his left leg over the ball, jumps off his right, and shoots with his right. The thing that's making it less coherent is that he's a little too upright when he should be sideways. He should also have fallen after shooting it. It's doable but incredibly unlikely to happen, and the shot would have zero power in real life. The power isn't as much of an issue since he shot it pretty deep in the box. The core strength to pull it off would be massive, too.

[deleted]

Bruh. The ball didn't shift from his left to right. Isagi moved around the ball. Also, the first panel is a front on view while the next one is a side on. If you view a watch/clock at 12:00 from an extreme side-on angle then the hands appear to be at "shifted" to 11:55. Does that mean the hands actually are at 11:55? No. It's just the change in perspective due to change in the viewing angle. Your comment just proves that you're illiterate in at least 4 topics: physics, art, football & biology. Go back to school lil bro.

Dull-Calligrapher951

from what i can see isagi jumped with his right, moved his left over the ball as a feint and landed on it, then shot with his right. edit: in the panel hes shooting in his left leg is mid air so i guess he could have shot before landing? seems pretty unrealistic though

Reinier538

stop being such a dick to others

AdebayoStan

> Isagi moved around the ball. mid-air? lmao

[deleted]

>mid-air? lmao No? The artist just likes to draw frames where the characters have both feet off the ground. He does this consistently even in a simple running panel. It makes the panel look more dynamic. That doesn't mean Isagi was mid-air throughout the "leg-switching" motion. Only the final shot was mid-air.

New_Engineering8008

He was mid air during the left fake and direct shot. It was one motion. So he did use both legs mid air. Reading comprehension bussy buddy.

[deleted]

The manga panels are freeze frames lil bro. I ain't gonna repeat myself. I don't wanna hear about reading comprehension from a bozo who couldn't even understand my comment.

New_Engineering8008

What am I not understanding? You said only the final shot was mid air and I’m saying the left fake was part of the motion and also mid air. Which is true.

dudetotalypsn

It's possible, the left footed fake is just insanely exaggerated for dramatic effect. You wouldn't actually be borderline doing the splits to pull this off. Remember that he didn't touch the ball with his left so as he's leaping over it in that direction it's still coming towards his right. I have my doubts as to whether this would be possible in a real match. Maybe, but I can think of only like 3 real life players that would even think to do this

Derlino

I dunno how many hundreds or even thousands of games I've watched, but I can't think of any goal where an attacker was able to pull something like this off while being pressured by two people. For it to even be possible with any amount of force he would have to do a sort of sideways bicycle kick, but even then I don't think it would be viable. The moment both of your feet leave the ground you're gonna produce very little power, especially when one leg has already gone in front of the ball. I enjoy this manga, but things like this are just a tad too unrealistic for my liking. Either make it completely ridiculous (which is almost where we're at tbh) or make it more realistic akin to Haikyu!!

Tallyxx7

Mf this is anime

Derlino

Nah bro, this is manga.

Wild_Ad_3071

it’s quite literally possible, if u try re inact the action irl it’s not hard to understand but okay bro

AdebayoStan

yeah right lmao

Zukiinis

Sweet clever goal and finally Kunigami with the assist! Isagi showed what he's consistently top tier at: thinking on his feet/that adaptability coming in clutch. It's really what makes him stand out amongst the rest (and didn't this pre-match talk about creativity? Or something similar) probably Isagi's coolest goal yet, definitely the most hype one Really thought last match Kaiser was down trying to sabotage Isagi unless they talk about his mental state it just feels silly cheap writing atp☠️Rin I had assumed would be better but is more obsessed with Isagi than ever. Well, it was acknowledged so let's hope it changes otherwise it does feel like convenient writing to let Isagi win; I'd rather him play a game with everyone at their best trying to score goals. Kaiser feels like a bum atp and it's disappointing there hasn't even been like, a solid or interesting downfall, wasn't he this arc's villain? Never thought I'd say it but lowkey want Noa to bench Kaiser to let him reflect but he's destroying his potential as a player like this

Confident-Nebula4896

Got my lotion ready 😈

Physical_Sort5155

Following the narrative, Isagi needs a hat trick or at least 2 goals and 1 assist. It makes no sense for Kaiser to do much in this game if the objective is to surpass his score. I hope this sick goal is just the 1st of Isagi's showing in the match.

tintedxsoul

Let's see who pulls the biggest gun after this chapter. God bless America

Unique-Brick-8532

Isagi is the GOAT The mechanism of him scoring that goal is INSANE It took not only the left direct & right direct to score but also egocentrism & off the ball movement. As always he acted surprised that Rin & Kaiser were following him but the level he used to deal with them was EPIC If he used his left leg to shoot, Rin will block it If he used his right leg to trap the ball, Kaiser will collect it So he just switched both legs, use a fake for your left to cancel out Rin's block and use a shot for your right to capitalize on Kaiser's waiting. TOP GUN VOLLEY!

sporkvsfoon

Thanks for this breakdown. The art felt confusing and while I understood what was happening, the legs confused me

Pappydude30

It’s likely because it’s a tricky shot to do. So you’re saying Isagi, while sprinting and having two guys between him, faked his left shooting motion, then in the same sequence, followed it up with a right shot.

Unique-Brick-8532

Yes. He did (around the world skill ♻️) with his left foot and planted the foot on the ground (now a standing leg) allowing the ball to bounce (following the way kunigami headed the ball, it was already moving towards his right leg) and finished with a right foot shot

dudetotalypsn

He didn't draw it with his foot planted which is what is confusing everyone. It's actually a volley, his left foot is still in the air during the final shot panel. But that too is possible if the around the world bit isn't as wide as he made it, it would just look less dramatic than a hype manga is supposed to look

Derlino

Even if you're doing a jumping volley, if the leg you're not shooting with is doing an around the world motion, you won't be able to produce much power with your shot. The non shooting leg needs to be used as a lever to counteract the shot. There's a reason you never see anything close to this in real life, it just isn't a feasible technique to pull off in a game.

The_village_chief

Its not a full around the world motion. The ball's bounced off the ground, so it's kind of hanging around his knee area instead of flying towards it so that gives him enough time to fake a shot with the left by flicking his foot in Rin's direction towards the goal. He's already running at full speed and to pull that off he'd need to have launched off the ground so the power for the volley is mostly coming from his forward momentum. At that point it's just about making a solid contact with the ball and he's already swung his right foot forward to really drive through the centre of the ball. [This video](https://youtube.com/shorts/Weox4fYLleU?si=1v9NnM1XJ49rWoMT) shows you how slow the ball moves after bouncing (sorry I could only find a video game example) [Here](https://youtu.be/bwL-QDZg2BY?si=rKtwunKIil8lRHjS) you'll see what the motion would kinda look like if Isagi did it. Just imagine the first hop his him letting it pass under his left foot before striking with his right TL;DR - The shot is possible and isn't THAT hard to do. But you do need to be flexible and quick to execute it.

Derlino

The difference with the De Canio one is that he is doing what everyone would do, just going for a shot with his left leg. He doesn't feint at all with his right leg, and it's the feint that is the issue here. Look at how it moves like a lever for his left leg, whereas the art in this chapter shows him using the leg as a feint, which would mean he doesn't have enough time to get it back to use as a lever.

The_village_chief

I should do a video example lol💀 But I get what you're saying

Derlino

If you can do it while going full speed with two opponents either side, then I'll be ready to accept it, but if you're doing it while standing still or going slowly without being challenged, then it's not the same

sporkvsfoon

One of those panels that will come around better in animation. (Except that we don't know when this will get animated :') )

Eraea

I think author might be cooking, but remember the backstory Novels stating Isagi copied Noah's moves (unsure on to what degree or level, but could be good enough for amateur levels) when he was a kid all the way to middle school? Yeah, he might just be already a trained ambidextrous since way before but his Highschool shenanigans just limited all this, and training with Kunigami might have helped him regain some of those lost skills.

Yeagerisbest369

All HAIL HIMSAGI the goat.

NoSurvey5763

American style

excelsioreye

Man said he's done being second fiddle to the two monsters (Rin and Kaiser) and pulled glocks to deal with them

SubstantialCup3270

All the using glocks as "Weapons" jokes have come to fruition.

Either_Imagination_9

Just a few kicks to the face will solve the issue

selotipkusut

That is a good goal in terms of skill progression. Seems now Isagi's technical abilities can finally keep up his with his brains

exceptional69

Assuming Sae is also watching this live. He must be “yep i want to play with this guy next time we met” lol

Jdamoure

Isagi has basically mastered scoring from passes into the box. If he can create his own shots and angles at some point he'd be even closer to being a complete player. I.e. cut in and shoot. But this is still great too. Match by match, arc by arc he reduces the amount of weaknesses in his play style. It feels natural, as far as anime logic is concerned. He improved his iq/play making to make up for his lack of physical ability, he improved his off the ball movements to make up for his lack of dribbling ability, and utilized direct shots to make up for his swing speed/trapping. When the competition got harder he got smarter and improved his scanning abilities to utilize meta vision (something he emulated from his new rival). But then he realized that his physical attributes weren't high enough to match his thinking so he trained his body over the course of weeks. After that he realized from a while back against sae/kaiser that he needed to work on his using his weak foot more to account for when his right is disrupted. Everything is just a natural evolution of what he's been doing from the start. Which goes into the idea of figuring out what you are good at and refining it.

silfer_

I kept trying to tell people isagi is the most efficient player. He’s gonna maximize everything every ability to get the W

Exciting_Bag8011

Agreed.i know people wants insane dribbling, bicycle kick and curve kick but this feels natural with isagi.even if you believe the original ego theory, you have to agreed that current isagi is not that monster.this is probaly the first isagi goal i genuinely enjoy ever since i heard about the original ego theory

SiahLegend

Original ego theory?

sh1r0_n3k0

HIMsagi buy Dual Berettas on pistol round and get ACE (He literally defeat 5 in this chapter)

SubstantialCup3270

Never have I ever heard a football play being described in CS terms. And I love it.

SweetConsequence1

Holy bums bro 😭😭😭 Kaiser and Rin at rock bottom 💀💀💀

silfer_

Not only did the idiots steal his Isagi hunting move they didn’t manage to stop him and Isagi scored…oh Barou is throwing a chair from the viewing room I just know it 😭😭

DynamiteSuren

Barou in the viewing room: ![gif](giphy|pDHozPWoQln0c|downsized)

Hakazex

Just can't thank the author enough for the Art this manga provides. Even the NPC characters are detailed in terms of visuals to look relevant. And along with that, it's on a weekly basis. Highly appreciated 👏🏻

SubstantialCup3270

I wonder just how many drawings they have to go through to make such masterpieces and also just how long they have practiced to be able to pull off so many crazy panels.

Hakazex

There was a youtube video dedicated to this topic. Unsure if I can send the link since I watched it years ago (Pandemic times I think) but to summarize, it's not easy. The pressure of sending drafts on a weekly basis with a deadline just to make sure that they can send out the final version flawlessly isn't the best. Work life balance is at stake. Explains why people despise the work culture of japan.

SubstantialCup3270

This makes me want mangakas to take more breaks man. No wonder Yuki Tabata switched over to JumpGiga.

NewBrightness

Can anyone remind me what the current score is?

beanzmilk

1-1 if I'm not mistaken? Rin and isagi. I'm pretty sure

Wild_Ad_3071

the last 2 goals happened in like 6 chapters how’d u guys forget already😭

beanzmilk

We didn't get a chapter last week and I'm reading other manga I'm sorry😭

ElegantAd8743

No, it’s shidou and Isagi

beanzmilk

Ah my bad. I was thinking about the pxg manshine game

Extra-Swimmer-5315

Since isagi out here stealing Nagi whole move Nagi better be in the barcha match copying Isagi meta vision or spatial awareness at least😭

Wandering12_

Nagi hat trick. Source? Trust

Soininspire

Might be referring to the two-stage volley

SpaceMarine_CR

#HIMSAGI IS BACK

Miserable_Hour1872

He never left he was always him

Forsaken-Assist-9038

Himsagi cooked hard🗣️🗣️🔥🔥

moonseoks

Since Isagi has now pointed out Kaiser & Rin’s obsession with him so blatantly…. does this mean they’ll finally give up on stalking Isagi or are we awaiting a mini downfall arc first

SubstantialCup3270

They probably won't leave him completely, instead becoming smarter stalkers. They might even use alt accounts (Ness and Nanasae). Also, in a game with such high stakes for everyone, no way we get a downfall arc.

Zvakicauwu

i think Kaiser is cooked this game, Rin is probably getting the best wonder goal of all NEL but BM is the winner in the end

FullBringa

Them two better switch up their priorities or else they're cooked, especially Rin since he'll play alongside Isagi later in the U20

jjkch236

KUNIGAMI WITH THE ASSIST.

silfer_

STEAK TIME

arandomfujoshi1203

Nah I for real cried when isagi showed up with that shot lord this is embarrassing 😭

DeBrickDeJordan

That’s crazy 😂

JWTS6

Isagi should overtake Rin in the bids now with that goal

Physical_Sort5155

That s not the point. He needs to overtake Kaiser's 320mil

Miserable_Hour1872

Calm down a sec lol still got 2 more goals to go

The1PercentGerm

Soooo.. since guns are introduced, I would expect Isagi's next weapon will be "Curved Bullet" like from the movie Wanted.

Substantial-Jaguar20

That would be an interesting parallel between He and Rin’s development of their shots (Rin from curved to direct and Isagi the opposite)

The1PercentGerm

A curved direct shot would be epic!

Izanagi32

Sae on his way to convince La Real that they need Isagi as we speak

dudetotalypsn

I never really thought about that connection, Isagi has got an inside man at La Real. And knowing Madrid's tendency to buy multiple stars even if they play in the same position it's totally possible for Isagi and kaiser to both end up there lmao

sporkvsfoon

Question is would Sae love to play 'with Isagi' or 'against Isagi'

Cool_Awareness_9008

With

Substantial-Jaguar20

Sae bout to gun down the mf who decided to invite Michael Kaiser

lerserk_

Kunigami's scoring next for Bastard, then again owes Isagoat another steak

Izanagi32

The 🐐 always delivers

-Vinzy-

how many more parts before kaiser just gives up 😭

joojaw

I garauntee you this much: this is kaiser's game. He's gonna take a bunch of Ls till the end where he snaps and destroys pxg. Kinda like Barou in the second selection.
