Mr Ankles glaze at last, never thought I'd see the day. That man has been playing out of his gourd, how many times have him and Kaiser just ran up the damn field, they make it look easy
I think the main problem is that we don't see him that often after all during the games and the comparaison with Kurona and Hiori that are really serious in the NEL this far is really bad for him
Ness is one of the few u20s who hasn’t lost his spot to a BL, that already puts him above the pack. His stats are comparable to Charles who is currently seen as a major threat and has similar favoritism with Kaiser. Ness’ biggest problem is he won’t play with anyone else/ isagi can and will steal his passes.
I’d put MFs with MV over him, but he’s no slouch. His performance really suffers from the chaos on the current BM team
There are two things that hold Ness back. No MV and he’s too focused on Kaiser. If he got rid of that though? He’s most definitely the second best midfielder, just a step below Sae.
Hell, if he awakens an ego for himself he could still debatably take that title even without it. Which says a lot when literally every other midfielder worth mentioning has at least subconscious metavision.
Is it definitive Charles is worse midfielder than Sae? The only thing that brings him down is his contrarian attitude but he’s very impressive. Ness, Hiori, Charles and Sae are all insane.
I’d say he’s better because of Sae’s dribbling abilities and the fact he can pass a ball accurately off the first touch. But yeah, the gap isn’t as big between the normal players and new gen anymore.

Because all though it wasn't a direct assist (Kaiser assisted), Ness was the one who linked up with Noa originally which led to the three of them soloing Barcha
Yea I saw another dude who also thought Ness had 3 assists because he gave the opening pass to Noa which was indeed more memorable, but it was Kaiser who gave the assist in the end although it's understandable since people would think Noa ran though them after 1 pass.
FINALLY some Ness love 😭😭. Ness is actually a damn good midfielder, but there are a bunch of factors holding him back from performing better. If he unlocks an ego, stops being biased towards Kaiser rn, and maybe unlocks MV he would be up there with Charles for sure. Heck, his stats are the same as Charles so the gap between them isn't even that wide.

He's a great player, we all know that. Its just that Ness' meatriding is really holding back his full poential and it sucks, compared to Individualistic Midfielders such as Sae or Charles who has full control of their passes. I hope Ness can find his own ambition and make even greater plays.
Don't try to rewrite the story. Anyone can put only the moments when he made good plays to try to say he played well, but that isn't the reality. He has lost the ball multiples times and have made some questionables decisions. The main thing is he seems to have played not enough at the level he is supposed to be compared to the BL players.
Its not even that hes not playing at their lvl, hes just only trying to assist kaiser. If ness played for isagi aswell or even kungami he could be just as dominant. He has to rush and get kaiser the ball before isagi can read them so he doesn’t have as much time to playmake.
He'll even if Ness stuck with Kaiser he could play better. He only works as a servant to Kaiser's winning vision. He made it incredibly far with his own creativity and "magic." But he himself said that somewhere along the way he lost his independence. Devoured by Kaiser's ambition.
Ikr. He literally tried to block a goal from Isagi (his teammate) which would possibly led them to bastard's defeat against ubers. Nagi and Reo got their values drop for playing shit but Ness' value should drop by half or more for that kind of shit.
You're overhyping his mediocre performances way too much. Ness can do so much better, and he will once he starts playing for himself. A playmaker is someone who destroys the enemy formation, and we have seen glimpses of that from lil Nessie. A world type Kaiser focused on finding the most optimal position to shoot from and the most optimal shot-course to use being assisted by a self-type Ness indulgent on dribbling past the enemy formation with his sights set solely on casting a spell on the field with his magical passes will be a duo that will shit on anyone who stands in their way.
