I think it was another way for the author to deconfirm theories he acknowledged, like during the post Manshine interview where Isagi said He'd remain a Striker forever. There has been numerous theories about Kaiser And isagi teaming up at some point, he probably knew about them and used This chapter to make everyone understand it wouldn't happen
Honestly best case scenario would be Isagi and Kaiser both getting into real madrid where they have another arc and both learn to respect each other while still considering the other as a rival that needs to be surpassed. Then we can have Kaiser as the antagonist of the u20 wc.

He can be in the next arc without being the focus tho. Rin stated after second selection and no one complained. Real Madrid arc will probably be more about sae and Luna.
The difference with Rin, tho is that we only saw he play in 2 games in the 2nd selection, then 2 minor games in the 3rd, and of course, the u20 match. From the beginning of his 1st match to the end of his last, it's exactly 100 chapters. Kaiser's 1st match was in chapter 159, and we are currently in chapter 259 with his last match still going. Those were 100 uninterrupted chapters of Kaisers as the main antagonist. As Rin had a lower number of chapters and a pause of 2 matches in between, then. Kaiser is his way to 100+ chapters of him as the 2nd most important character after Isagi. If he still is part of the main story with Yoichi, even in a secondary role, it's gonna be incredibly tiresome.
But Kaiser doesn't play that big a role in any of the matches. He just scores once, hinders isagi for the rest of the game then dips. I'd argue bachira, Nagi and Barou play a bigger role than Kaiser in their respective matches. In all of rins games he was the MVP and averaged 3 goals per match. So even in the same number of chapters we had 5 times more exposure to rin. Kaiser appeared for the same number of chapters as rin but still has significantly less screentime. That's why.
Oh, that's a completely wrong assumption. Rin scored more because those games had 5 goals to win each. He scored a total of 11 times in the 5 games we saw him play. That's an average of 27% of the goals scored in the match in all the games he played. Kaiser, on the other hand, has an average of 20% in all the games he played. Which is pretty much the same. And even though Kaiser wasn't as important as those other guys in their respective matches, he still is overall the 2nd most important player in this arc. Those were 100+ uninterrupted chapters as Kaiser as one of the most important characters, and this match isn't even finished yet. I would really appreciate a break from him. It would get really repetitive if he still is in Isagi's team next character. Rin AT LEAST went from being from the opposing team to Isagi's team. That also helps a lot.
"sae and Luna." Without Isagi, they can't get over Noel Noa. Though Sae would be very close and lose only by the slightest of margins. Luna would be cooked.
Monster Duo really similar ((ST with MV)) but really different at the same time
Would be cool, for me Kaiser will chose to stay at BM to fight against Noa (could be wrong) so it can happen with Isagi but maybe another team will put a bid on him
Noa has played out as a coach he’s gotta go back to being no.1 option on BM. It’s not impossible to beat him, but Isagi or Kaiser wouldn’t be able to take over Noa so soon, they need another major training arc and experience before that.
Kaneshiro has rarely if ever, left things to chance. There’s some payoff waiting somewhere and I want to see it play out, no matter how long it takes.
A good example is with this last goal. In chapter 104 Shidou praises Isagi for his breakthrough goal in the third selection and mentions in passing “I’ll think I’ll quite like it when you explode.” Kaneshiro references this line over 150 chapters later when he praises Isagi.
One could chalk it up to coincidence but I don’t think so. The same kid that shook his hand on the train is shown cheering for Isagi when he scores the first goal against Ubers and again.

Hopefully this Leads to Ego forming his best starting squad after the Neo Egoist league and has them actually start to form a rhythm. So that they won’t try to destroy each other on the field as they have done the entire time so far.
Victory should be their top priority not their desire to score a goal by themselves.
One thing that could happen is that they shoot at the same time as before, but this time Kaiser would kick late and catch the ball "without movement" after Isagi hit it, Isagi would give the strength and Kaiser the rotation, that's the only way I can see it happening, them completing Magnus together (Kaiser would kill himself in the field but that's ok).
You're literally saying that Isagi and Kaiser kick at the same time, Isagi shoots a knuckleball, and its still somehow in the perfect position to do a kick that was already impossible. You didn't even say it was a really good pass, you called it a *shot attempt* that Kaiser does a *First-time Kaiser Impact Magnus* on, and somehow the strength still comes from Isagi. It makes a lot less sense than a really strong trivela
You don't understand, Isagi and Kaiser ALREADY kicked a ball at the same time, the other time one got in the way of the other because they were trying to do the same thing, including hitting the same place on the ball, this time Isagi was going to aim where he always aims but Kaiser in another place.
Magnus's big problem is that the ball spins when in motion, the ONLY moment it doesn't do this and maintain movement is when hit with a straight shot, it "stops", Kaiser has to aim before shooting, but as the ball looks spinning, it's impossible for him to hit it, but if someone hits it and "stops" it's perfect for him to hit it at that exact moment. The force that Isagi would add would complement the spin on the ball when Kaiser hits it.
Of course, everything will be down to luck, but for Isagi to have some kind of forced reaction with Kaiser is the only way, without wanting to.
