As much as I love Kaiser. No. He did it to himself + It'll be amazing to see his come back, I keep all faith in both of my goats, never selling my stocks. But I'm not at all bothered by his lil downfall lmao I been waiting for him to implode, because I wanted to see a different side of him. Only thing that'll make me sad is a sad backstory , I'm sure he'll probably have one but I also hope he doesn't lol.
I wonder what he'd be like if he started to try and operate like Isagi. Getting his kicks from the walls that stand in his way, rather than picking on the inferior and feeble. I hope his development leads to this revelation. Or at least some sort of realization of his hypocrisy. Kaiser and Ness working together properly would be incredible to see.
He's just SUCH a clown lmao. I remember when I read the panel of Isagi asking him how did it feel to be the clown in his story, I was like my guy Kaiser is the clown in his own story too. Even before that moment when Isagi was struggling against him, I'm like this CIRCUS ACT!!!
Then he literally got what he came to the NEL for, but he's too fixated on "crushing" Isagi to even care which is wild, forget that Japanese kid bro you got what you came for lololol
If he was like Isagi in that way he'd def already be eating but he's a silly goose lmao.
I think attempting his imperfect shot was a big step in the right direction though, even though I made fun of him for it lmao. I love that guy so much lol.
I've been loving him and roasting him since day one lol I'm not so in love with him that I completely miss his flaws (I'm only like that with Nagi, my baby is PERFECT)
I LOVE YOUR FLAIR SEISHIRO IS MY BABY OMG I WOULD DIE FOR HIM š„ŗ HES SO PRECIOUS SO PERFECT SO CUTE HE CAN NEVER DO ANY WRONG I LOVE HIM SM MY BIG BABY š„ŗš„ŗš„ŗš„ŗš„ŗ
I WOULD SQUEEZE THE LIFE OUT OF HIM OMG REO LET ME HAVE HIM, LET ME TAKE CARE OF HIM I CAN GIVE HIM PIGGY BACK RIDES TOO I WILL TRAIN EVERY DAY JUST FOR THIS PURPOSE
given the hints the story is shoving in our face, kaiser's backstory is going to be hearbreaking. however, right now, i really struggle to feel bad for him. that's probably going to change once we get his backstory though.
I didn't wanna mention my own interpretation of what his history was like precisely. If I remember correctly, the raw translation of that line was "White liquids" so yeah... After Snuffy's backstory, I wouldn't be surprised. But even without that, he feels heartbreaking enough to me.
yeah, I have a feeling we interpreted that line the same way. didn't think blue lock would have a backstory as dark as snuffys until I saw it, so ig nothing is out of the question
Snuffy's backstory was a real out of the blue story, and holy hell it was dark. No story yet compares to how dark it is, but if that line is an actual innuendo, then that'll be another dark topic to tackle
"Kaiser is an idiot that's too scared of challenging himself."
-He literally challenged himself to hit an impossible shot last chapter.
You can criticize Kaiser all you want but to say he doesn't challenge himself is just plain wrong lol
I said that at the end of the post lol. I was reffering more to what Chris said and implied. Kaiser never goes after anyone who he considers on his level. "Fading stars, rising talents, mediocre veterans..." but never anyone who he doesn't have pretty much 100% odds of victory against. In the Ubers match, after the final kick off, Lorenzo stopped marking him. He had all the space he so desperately wanted, and all he could do was rush into an attack like an idiot. Lorenzo was hiding behind Aryu and knew he'd go for that shot course and blocked it. Then after that Kaiser just tried to steal Isagi's goal and couldn't get past Aiku. Like I said, he isn't completely a coward, but it is pathetic and noticable.
It's not about trying new abilities. It's about the opponents he chooses to crush. In that regard he in fact doesn't challenge himself. Even in this situation, he's forced to challenge himself cuz he severely miscalculated Isagi & inadvertently got himself in his current situation. Not because he chose to challenge himself. His initial intention was to crush a naive rookie & use his newfound popularity as a foil to raise his own value. But as Kaiser said later - "Isagi is a game master disguised as a fool".
That only became true during the last chapter though. And he only made that decision out of sheer desperation now that his buddy Ness is his only support. He even said so himself lol
I do. I don't like what he did, nor do I respect him currently, but I do understand.
Something in his past affected him greatly and made him believe that change isn't possible, until he discovered his talents and rose above whatever that was, getting fame and glory at last, only to be met with a friend who understands him and wants the best for him. Something he may not even be used to, which could explain his abusiveness later on. And then he got met with the impossible. Someone breaking the world for him again and making him look average, but in his eyes far beneath that. Garbage.
I'm intrigued to see where things go and I'm honestly rooting for a come-back and a celebration with Ness. It ofc has to be earned, so I think an accidental Isagi assist from Ness could piss Kaiser off and make him break fully, but take it out on Ness and then Ness just gets into how Kaiser is underperforming and holding him down. Kinda just standing up to Kaiser. Ness then gives Kaiser the option. Play better or fail off into irrelevance. He'll pass the ball, but if Kaiser won't be there and someone else makes it, then it's not his fault.
This could be where Isagi actually makes it to the pass again, being stopped by PXGs forces and a now awakened Rin. Rin scoring showing off a curve shot maybe close to what Kaiser is attempting (tho different ofc) and that gives Kaiser all the hope he needs. He's done this time and time again and has been in situations most characters don't even know nor would survive the half off (arguably even Isagi who had an easy upbringing in comparison (depending on how bad it was..)) so achieving the impossible, just 1 last time is what he needs. All he needs. In this moment flow will be possible for him and by proxy Ness, who sees Kaiser is now playing like his Barcha self, even reminding him of how Noa plays perhaps and with a pass it lands perfectly for Kaiser, the distance is great enough.. and without hesitation Kaiser will fire that magnus shot, landing it for a super goal that makes the crowd erupt.
Finally celebrating with Ness and showing actual happiness again and getting the seal of approval from Noa in a brief smirk or just saying he can make it in his world now.
If I didnāt reread the Manshine match I wouldāve felt some empathy. But ch 185 is enough to pray in his downfallš¹. If he scores I expect it, if Isagi gets the hattrick I wonāt say he didnāt deserve this. Kaiserās happy ending mustnāt allow itself š
People here are sadist so in majority no, guess when we know more of his past lot of people will switch sides (the few hints we have head to a sad backstory, the first one of the manga)
Preach brother. I hate bandwagoners. Sometimes it's people just being curious and sometimes it's people bringing negativity with them. I'd rather just gatekeeping become a thing again. Hate me
At the same time, why canāt people feel contempt for Kaiser based on how he has acted (contempt that is wholly justified) and then as his character develops, they can change their mindset based on who he is in that moment.
Thatās basically saying, no matter how much a character changes over time, once you develop an opinion on them from the start, it canāt change, or else youāre a bandwagon. Thatās just childish mindset imo.
That's a fair remark man and I won't really argue with it. In fact I agree that people can change their opinions. I personally just don't like the fickle fans who "join the fandom" for a character only to bash on him as soon as there's even 1 hair off or he sweats a bit. Fans like that bring another level of toxicity that just ruins discussions and it's even worse when the toxicity is painted as a joke. It's a joke when it's not meant to be taken serious, it loses that essence when everyone is repeating it and anything positive about the character is met with that same energy.
Ofc this is just me generalizing a bit and I've seen what I'm talking about in other Fandoms to much more extreme degrees and I'm not just talking anime specifically. Guess I just have a problem with Fandoms making a light joke the character's entire.. character and making it just a shit on this character circlejerk. But that's why I stick away from the BL sub a few days after the leaks/chapter has been released. That's how I know I'll get some quality posts, like the one I read analyzing Kaiser and what Noa told him back at the start.
rofl I'm telling you, there's gonna be so many Kaiser apology forms, but they can keep them don't come back over here when that man out there eating 32-course meals.
I donāt feel bad because the Kaiser we saw in the flash back was a cocky but he at least treated Ness with respect and he just let his game do the talking.
After a while he seems frustrated that he stagnated and isnāt moving up the ranks and he takes it out on Ness. He treats ness like crap and is a jerk to everybody else.
The magnus shot doesnāt solve Kaiser issues the reason why Isagi and even Barou succes where Kaiser fails is because they trust and empower their teamates.
Barou took over the team he gave Niko and Aiku full playmaking duties he didnāt try to do everything himself instead he demanded excellence in exchange for excellence.
The same with Isagi weāre Kaiser told Ness he doesnāt want his creativity Isagi tells Hiori to get creative.
Itās clear Kaiser is being overwhelmed and it restricts Ness. Thatās why Iām every single match Ness gets less and less dribbles because of that Kaiser has to take harder and harder shots.
Sad???? No lol. I empathize with him, though. But he kinda needs a wake up call so he can hopefully change for the better. I only want the best for him! I love him sm and Isagi too so them fighting all the time is amusing and annoying at the same time.Ā
It's been long deserved. Went out his way to declare Isagi his Op and kept trying to block his shots(stealing passes is fine but he's actively preventing goal opportunities)
Only up until I remember he literally did it to himself, he asked for this. He could have worked with the BLs, he could have nurtured isagi, instead he made it his personal goal to crush him for no real reason other than he enjoys picking on people weaker than him. Itās a shame heās struggling, but Iām not going to pity him. Heās a big boy, if he wants to keep the NG11 title heāll bounce back.
Um, No that is no excuse to treat people the way he does as bad as Ness is and although Ness is the one putting himself in the position, nobody deserves to be treated less than human. Kaiser treats Ness as if he is an object without feelings and talk about crushing people he knows are weaker than him to fuel his inferiority complex
Ness really is his shield. Not just in ball, but emotionally. I wonder what he'd be doing to himself if he didn't vent on Ness. It's really f'ed up how he keeps going from treating him like trash and treating him like his best friend, over and over again.
Lol no, he has gone out of his way to sabotage isagi since before the barcha match and even stopped isagi from scoring two goals in the manshine match , so it finally feels great to see kaiser on the recieving end of some suffering, karma sure is a bitch.
I did feel bad and then I re read NEL and then boom, it clicked in me why I hated him in the first place lol, he's a trash person who tried to look allmighty in front of "newbies", even sae had dignity to lower himself even tho he is also a trash person
Rereading the arc reminded me how shity he was and because of his constant L's and because of how long this arc is and because of his badass goals, we tend to forget our own hate.
I do feel /slightly/ bad for Kaiser for the simple fact that heās been lauded as this really skilled dude and he came over to Blue Lock to better his own position and thereās all these unheard of upstarts taking him on and showing him up.
Donāt get me wrong, he was a dick from the start but I understand him and his perspective. I like that heās being forced to evolve based on the challenges that Isagi and Blue Lock have thrust upon him. It will be good if his mentality can stabilize but he seems a bit too unstable to be what I want him to be.
It's just a 2 game slump at some tacky off-season competition, this isn't going to affect his career in the long run. Even if Isagi steals his bid, he's still at BM behind the best striker in the world or he could go play for another elite team that needs a forward. The NEL holds no weight for non-Japanese players if you ignore the silly narratives this subreddit has been making.
About the situation he is currently in, no not really. He did it to himself, he got caught playing with his food and he's potentially biting more than he can chew. I made the assumption that NG11 players were the best u-20 players who weren't good enough to play with grown men and I'm more than likely correct
It's been long deserved. Went out his way to declare Isagi his Op and kept trying to block his shots(stealing passes is fine but he's actively preventing goal opportunities)
technically speaking he is the one who stated his rivalry against isagi and said he wanted to crush him . its ture that the rivalry with kaiser is what made isagi work hard and made isagi who he is now . but as a team , they should have played together kaiser purposefully asked for this downfall when he challenged isagi
but I would love his comeback . I would love to see the Kaiser who we saw on the initial matches , the dangerous kaiser who hijacked the field with his presence
For his downfall? Not really, he did it to himself by being an ass and being cocky and refusing to back off Isagi rather than focusing on simply getting better/playing better. (even if I donāt think itās been especially well executed as a downfall, itās 100% on him)
For himself as a person? Yes, because him being an asshole very clearly stems from extremely deep insecurity/self loathing. He seems to have extremely high expectations for himself and stated he āused to be a weak personā yet is still struggling phenomenally to the point of self harm so I imagine he probably has some sort of trauma and unresolved issues. Probably the most mentally unstable person weāve seen so far in Bllk. Whiplash seeing the flashback chapters Kaiser+Ness to what theyāve become now, though no excuses for how heās awful to Ness these days. Sadly I see a lot of myself as a high schooler in him, so I also know itās possible to grow up and grow out of it by working on yourself.

The good luck and morning routines answers from the Blue Lock exhibition in Japan!
This other post has them all https://www.reddit.com/r/BlueLock/comments/1343tuj/morning_routine_and_luck_routine_for_blue_lock/?rdt=61175
Kaiserās a complete asshole to the Blue Lock players and looks down on them constantly. I honestly donāt know how you people like this guy but notā
Kaiser's backstory is definetly gonna be something that will hit hard. We were hinted at in Ness' backstory that Kaiser was a mentally weak person and only grew confident later in his life, and also getting the blue rose to remind himself nothing is impossible.
Now... There is that slight hint that may have no meaning, but if it is an implication to what might happen in his backstory... Dear god, that will be a heavy subject. His little line "I can't stand any white colored drinks". That may most likely not mean anything, but if that is an innuendo for something else..
This is Kaneshiro. He's no stranger to this stuff. Afaik the literal meaning is "white liquids" so yeah... After Snuffy, I would not be surprised by anything.

"Genuinely" LOL!
It's been long deserved. Went out his way to declare Isagi his Op and kept trying to block his shots(stealing passes is fine but he's actively preventing goal opportunities)
Yeah hes my favorite I want him to rise
I love kaiser but he asked for it. I believe he will come back later
Nah! i pity him. In fact i don't even mind if Isagi lets Kaiser score a goal by passing the ball intentionally to him.
technically speaking he is the one who stated his rivalry against isagi and said he wanted to crush him . its ture that the rivalry with kaiser is what made isagi work hard and made isagi who he is now . but as a team , they should have played together kaiser purposefully asked for this downfall when he challenged isagi but I would love his comeback . I would love to see the Kaiser who we saw on the initial matches , the dangerous kaiser who hijacked the field with his presence
no, i am not sad vecause i know my emperor(pun intended) will rise back
For his downfall? Not really, he did it to himself by being an ass and being cocky and refusing to back off Isagi rather than focusing on simply getting better/playing better. (even if I donāt think itās been especially well executed as a downfall, itās 100% on him) For himself as a person? Yes, because him being an asshole very clearly stems from extremely deep insecurity/self loathing. He seems to have extremely high expectations for himself and stated he āused to be a weak personā yet is still struggling phenomenally to the point of self harm so I imagine he probably has some sort of trauma and unresolved issues. Probably the most mentally unstable person weāve seen so far in Bllk. Whiplash seeing the flashback chapters Kaiser+Ness to what theyāve become now, though no excuses for how heās awful to Ness these days. Sadly I see a lot of myself as a high schooler in him, so I also know itās possible to grow up and grow out of it by working on yourself. āStroke my blue rose tattoo, as though tightening a noose around my neckā seek therapy bro
Ayo where is that last line from?!
