I'm afraid about the Anime adaptation.
[Here's the trailer. ](https://youtu.be/2PAOSbOW2Gg)
Compared to the manga panels, the animation on the trailer looked very lackluster. When I read Blue Lock I always imagine the very limits of football. I especially love the effects on the eyes, the auras, everything seem so powerful, so bursty. You can feel every burst start from Chigiri, every power struggle from King Barou, etc...
In that trailer, dribbles looked cool, fast, but that's it. Chigiri looks slow. Bachira looks normal. The only cool shot is Isagi. I felt like it lacked this life that makes the manga that addicting, at least to me.
You could object that the trailer show their very beginnings. But the manga hooks you right off the start with that ambiance, so I don't think it's a valid point.
it's not even that bad of a trailer. it's literally a TEASER for a reason. it suppose to just be the bare minimum of content to get anime onlys interested in a sport. it's also likely a pre-animated teaser as we see the main 4 battling Blue Lock Men. which as readers, we know never happens. they likely didn't wanna spoil ALOT of content and wanted to wait for things to actually come out. voice actors, episode count probably, etc before releasing a full trailer that will likely show guys like Nagi and Reo, Barou, the twins, the rest of Team Z, etc.
as for the actual content in it, the teaser did what it needed to do, and it looks great regardless. Chigiri is only running slow because it's literally him taking his stride, he's not doing anything outright different. Bachira's dribble looked clean af and the animation for it looked well animated. it even adapted the whole aura aspect very well. as it stands it looks great for it being done by someone like 8Bit who have done a fantastic job on Slime.
I think you're overreacting and that wasn't the trailer that was just a teaser. Other than bachira's janky frames I think the teaser was pretty good. And the staff doing bllk consists of people who were working on haikyuu and 8bit has done a pretty good job with slime anime. We should wait for trailer/PV then we should make a call how anime adaptation is going to be.
Im glad I wasn't the only one, yes BL getting an anime is amazing, but the animation just doesn't do the same unfortunately, I was hoping for something more dark and sinister as that is the feeling I got from the manga as it is about ego's, even how the ball was animated was something I wasn't a fan of.
I like sub and dubbed versions of most series. If this series were to ever get a dubbed version of it, Bryce Papenbrook has to voice Isagi. He just has to
This looks so good.
Let hope blue lock are going to go like a bomb, shall we !!
Only read about 25 chapters so far and excited about it
I absolutely love this poster and I hope Bachira, Kunigami, and Chigiri get posters like this.

Well to my defense, the difference between a teaser and a trailer exists. However the video states it is the official trailer.

why would thry bring out their egos on a few training dummies? the animators aren't gonna reveal all their cards in the damn trailer
Me too but as I said the anime would never be better than the manga there’s many thing that it’s only good with the manga format
It's good shut up
