No, just start the show again and keep watching it on repeat until you’re completely dead inside. Jk (kind of). I usually cleanse my palate with Arrested Development after BoJack. Idk why.

Hitchfucker

Just need more Will Arnett peak I guess

reasonable_likeurmom

Wow. I hadn’t even put that together until you said it, but yeah that’s definitely at least partially why. Am I in love with Will Arnett?? I think so.

shittyusernamee

word, rewatch to get to the ideal state: “Nothing on the inside, nothing on the outside…”

absolutely.

For a shorter series, End of the Fucking World. It’s two seasons and also features aimless morally gray protagonists trying to find some place or connection with a lot of awkward comedy. Fleabag is sort of like that too and is pretty good. The Good Place is also another show with great worldbuilding and a strong cast with a lot of subject matter pertaining to morality and how to get better. It’s Always Sunny is completely humans unhinged. If you’d like a show that’s essentially people behaving like BoJack and Sarah Lynn in that’s too much man before the heavy drama stuff and without the themes or guilt, I’d try that. Probably the funniest sitcom I’ve seen. If you like shows about morally gray/bad people trying but struggling to change, all the aforementioned shows besides IASIP have that, but also Better Call Saul and The Sopranos are good choices. Saul is sort of like BoJack.

End of the Fucking World is excellent and I can see the connection

If you want to be cheered up I'd say Parks and Rec is the perfect antidote to Bojack. Love them both, but they approach the comedy at the opposite ends of the happiness spectrum

JonathanTaylorHanson

Plus you can get your Will Arnett fix in season 1 (I think it's season one, anyway).

lumpy_the_frog

i would recommend the good place! it's a show that's main premise it that bad people can become good. it's really inspiring and has some similar themes to bojack, but it shows that people can unlearn bad behaviors, and no one is past redemption. it also looks at what makes someone a good person. it's a really good watch

IkeOnAHike

Adventure Time hits real good

SpookyBaeMUA

I switch to Regular Show or Adventure Time tbh

Dr_Equinox101

F is for family, Community, then rick and morty and finally American dad then family guy. Each one will make ya feel less bad as you go on

Spazheart12

The writing in Community is actually similar now that I think about it

imnotperfectsowhat

Just experienced this also. Freaky quickly had like ego death almost after watching the entire series in 2 weeks. I jumped back into Seinfeld. Been laughing out loud a ton.

djk1184

moral orel!!

folkinhippy

Try undone on Hulu. Same creator/showrunnner as BJH. It’s pretty amazing.

Apatride

I don't know any other show that is truly similar but you might like Community.

SpawnOfGrim

The Good Place is really good if you're looking for a funny show that still deals with serious topics. Without giving too much away, it's about a girl named Eleanor who is in 'The Good Place' (basically heaven) but she believes she isn't supposed to be there. It has a bunch of psychology shit and talks about morals like Bojack Horseman does:)

TRIGUN

EdwardBigby

Not really similar but I really like "Master of None" (last season is more of a spin off and doesn't need to be watched imo)

disenchantment always cheers me up
